1. I'm not going to go out on a limb and defend Donahoe here, but saying he's "sticking" with Bledsoe and its bringing this team down seems completely out of whack here.  The guy went out of his way on draft day to make sure the Bills had a young QB...you don't do that if you plan on sticking with your current starter...

I agree, we will just have to wait untill J.P. is healthy to see if they play him. I was disapointed Henry started today. Either he is still hurt or just bad' in either case W.M. should have started today.
2. Three picks not his fault?  You mean the ball that was WAY over WM head that was picked wasn't his fault?  WM didn't even get a hand on it, it went over his head and tipped off the fingertips of the Raven behind him (it was so high that the defender BEHIND WM could't get more than a finger on it!)  You mean that the ball he threw behind Lee Evans that the LB got his hand on wasn't Drew's fault?  I'm assuming that you're counting the throw into double coverage...

I think The O line would look a lot better with a different Q.B. behind it. Bledsoe must go.
3. Please vote...thank you

"With the 2nd pick in the draft the Bills select.....OH WAIT....We traded that pick to Dallas...good move TOM!!!!

82850

I still think the Bills will win some games this year. The pick may "only" be in the top 10. Even so I do not regret the trade for J.P. I don't think there is a Q.B. available in the upcoming draft as good as he may be.
4. Now that the Bills have arrived at the bottom of their division...conference...league - Does anyone still think that Tom Donohoe has done a good job? I kno the guy does not "line-up" as the mavens like to say, but the product he's delivered is abysmal. We can attach TD to the following:

* Drafting Mike Williams...Forget who we could have gotten - a bag of kicking tees are worth more.

* Giving a first round pick to division rival for Bledsoe - the Bills could have arrived where they are today getting Jeff Blake for free.

* Hiring A great O-Line coach - then not letting him coach.

* Hiring Malarky - Gregg Williams could be doing this badly! Hey let's make Malarky the scapegoat at the seasons end and hire another puppet for the TD regime...I hear Jim Haslett will be free soon...wow AND he has ties to TD...

* Screwing with our backfield. I think WM is a better running back than Henry, however, we did not need him...Now we are mired with two backs that need 20+ touches to get going, but they are splitting carries...Nice, we can get a 2nd rounder for Henry next year and draft another mediocre defensive end that has a "non-stop motor"...

I think this team has no chance of climbing out of this hole for years...When they finally emerge, they will probably be playing in Los Angeles...Sorry, but it is becoming a reality. Thanks TD - love your work!

[/quote Who was available at the time that you would rather have than McGahee? How is T.D. interfering with the O-line coaching? Would you rather have Greggo here than Mike? If so, I think you are in a very very small minority. Mike at least hired a very good staff, unlike Greggo. Given a little time, I think he will be a good coach. T.D. has made some mistakes, but has also made some good moves. I do not know of a G.M. & assist G.M. available who would be better. Do you? If so let us know.

5. So what if he was a number 1 draft pick? Most would agree that was a wasted pick, even if WM turns out to be the next OJ. All that will mean is that TD got lucky with his gamble. If he had drafted for other needs the Bills have we probably wouldn't be 1-4. Did you see the burst Joe Burns showed when he spelled WM in the Miami game or the game Sammy Morris had, does that make them special?  If we had drafted for a need that year and just had one of these backs come of the bench we wouldn't have a need of 2 quality starting backs.

With that being said, I wish WM all the best as I am a Bills fan. And how can you be stupid enough to make acomment that TH can't get the job done? BS; you'd have to be a fool to think he is hands down better than Henry; especially after posting identical numbersthroughout the year. As a matter of fact, up until the play where he slipped, TH game against NE was more impressive than WM game against the Dolphins as he consistently gained yardage against them keeping the chains moving..

80809

Who do you think they should have drafted?
6. I agree with 3-2.

I have no doubt we beat the Jags.  That last drive never would have happened with Milloy and Vincent.

I still give us a loss against Oakland.  Even though the score was close the whole team played horrible.  We didn't deserve to win that game.

New England would have found a way to win...like always.

The Jets game is a toss up, but what killed us in that game was the 3rd down conversions.  I think they stop a few of those witht those two in the game.

I guess it doesn't matter though.  The good teams find a way to win no matter who is hurt.  These younger guys just need to step up.

78644

We won the Raider game, the refs stole it from us. The penalty called when there was none, & Henry's TD.
7. I'd like to see Willis get the start.  I know that Miami is a bad team but I have to say I was VERY impressed with the kid last week.  I loved that stiff arm he gave Edwards (BTW Edwards is a big Safety) he just tossed him like a rag doll.

I know he is not 100% but he I love what he showed us.  Do it a few weeks in a row and I might even admit TD was right to have drafted him.

He doesn't look like a step down from an injured Travis Henry.

This will be a good test for our O-line this week.  This is a winnable game.

79707

Miami has a good D. I would like to see Willis up against a great D like the Ravens have. If he plays as well as he did last week, does Henry ever start again for Buffalo?
8. I don't know... we have to beat New York, Arizona and Baltimore to get to 500.  I think we can beat the cardinals, and have a shot at beating the ravens with Lewis out.  However, the jets are undefeated this year and I don't see us beating them.

79225

I think we can beat the Jets at home. We almost beat them in N.J. and looked awful. Look at their schedule. They haven't played any really good teams yet. I think they will start losing begining this Sunday.
9. Steve,  You can't use the DTV Tivo with Adelphia, I've already tried it.  Adelphia offers a Tivo type unit but it's not compatible with DTV. One thing I've checked on is supposedly next season DTV will require us Season Ticket holders to buy one of their packages. Hopefully a Lawsuit will settle them from forcing those of us who only subscribe to the NFL Package to paying for a whole DTV Package.

BTW, I'm up in Stuart and just got cable back from the storms on Mon.

78028

I am in S.W. Fla not far from Punta Gorda which took the major hit from Charley. Never lost my DTV signal through all 3 hurricanes.
10. All I can say is that I hope the Dolphins are still winless when the last undefeated team takes their first loss this year.  Won't that make the old Dolphins' champagne sipping seem a bit dumb (especially if it's near the end of the year)?

73192

I almost want the patsies to go undefeated to end Miami's record.
11. PTR is correct...we played liked crap against another crap team, and proved we were slightly better. Take away the free 7 points and some great work by Willis late in the game and we'd be 0-5.

Our defense is awful, our offense is awful.

We will be lucky to win another game this year. We bad.

73158

Take away the last play of game #1 Take away bad officiating in game#2

Take away last min. of game #4 Hey we are 3-1.

12. How many times do we have to over the fact that if the whistle the play dead and say  there was no fumble, it IS NOT REVIEWABLE. MY GOD some moron complains about this at least once a week. NOT REVIEWABLE. GET IT?!?!

The second one, well apparently that's the rule. I don't know the rule and haven't looked it up, but Steve Tasker (the single BEST special teamer in history) says it is and if anyone knows the rule, it would be him.

73079

That is the problem with replay. ALL PLAYS SHOULD BE REVIEWABLE!

Just my opinion.

13. I mean...Can you believe that crap? Bledsoe is going to scramble like that for a key 1st Down maybe once or twice a year, and it gets called back on a joke of a Flag...

Good God... No one can tell me the Refs in this League don't hate The Bills...I mean, sure they're not a real good Team. But the hit on Mould earlier gets a Flag 97 out of 100 times in this League. Did anyone notice the illegal contact on the Pass earlier to Moulds that Bledsoe threaded in? It was a completion, but obvious illegal contact ten yards down field also...

It seems SO obvious after watching these first 4 Games that the Refs have one hand on the Flag just waiting to throw it on the Bills...What a joke...

72786

Saw that, also saw Miami hold on a play Feidler completed 1 of the few he had on 3rd down to keep a drive alive that was not called!
14. I called for Drews head after the 3rd game. Now I don't know what to think. If the O-line keeps playing like it did today, I think Drew plays the rest of the year while Loseman learns. Given time Drew can be a very effective QB. Compare his throws today with Dumbos. He has the arm strength needed to play at the Ralph.

15. Even better than the play of those two was the play of the Bills patched up offensive line. Its the best Ive seen the OLine look all year. Bledsoe rarely was pressured and adequet holes were provided inside for the running game.

73048

Is the coaching finally starting to take effect, or is this a better line without Teague & Jennings? Don't know, but I agree this is the best the O-line has looked all year. Against a damn good D too!
16. Could the Bills think that by having Rice....they would have a selling point for tickets since the season will end when we lose to Miami?

i mean dads would take their kids to see Rice play as a Bill and he is the greatest WR of all time...it might put some fans in the seat come late november...hell late october! lol.

Thast my theory on Rice!

PR MOVE PR MOVE PR MOVE BY TD!

68431

I forget, how many catches against the Bills? Oh yeah 0. He should have retired while he still had some respect & dignity.

17. I dont have a whole lot of sympathy for Willis in this regard....

- We used a coveted 1st round pick for him

- He had all of last year to recuperate

- And to be quite honest...we need to know what we have with the kid....we have to stop this "but what if he gets hurt again" mentality....

If he gets hurt....then we need to know he is fragile BEFORE we trade away Travis Henry.....

JMO

68326

We got him with a low #1, which T.D. got for Price, who we were going to lose anyway. This was like an extra free pick. It is like winning $. Do You use it to pay bills, or buy something you don't need but would like? He will not be fully recovered for another year. I say play him, but realize he should get better with time.
