1. He won't be franchised, d-wag is right.  He'll be locked up long-term though, preferrably in the next few weeks.  I'm hoping the money saved from Moulds' extension will be used in the following order:

1) long-term deal for Clements

2) cap-friendly, reasonable deal for Jennings (I'm concerned this may not be an option)

3) sign Wahle of the Packers, most underrated and best pulling-guard in the NFL.

I hope the Bills get him signed to an extension, but if they don't you can bet your house he will be franchised. If so the Bills will have to pay him the average of the top 5 corners. I think he is one of the top five, plus he returns punts. At the very least, he will be tagged & traded like PP was. If PP was worth a 1 then Nate is worth a 1 & 2.

2. Gramatica is interesting, and I almost had forgotten about him this offseason.  He dominated at kicking in the NFL until the last two years when his production really dropped.  Was it because of his dislike of Gruden like he said?  Or did he just tank out?

236762

I don't know where you got he does not like Gruden. I live down here, and heard him on local radio after he was cut. He said he loved Gruden, and his biggest regret was letting Gruden and the team down. I did not vote to bring him here because after watching him the last 2 years I think his confidence is gone. He is a great guy and I hope he recovers but I don't see it.
3. moulds to be EXTENDED.........defanitely different then being restructured........

anyway, it's not like the guy is taking a pay cut.......like the article says, he will receive "just as much money" this year, possibly more.......it's just going to hit the cap differently........

I for one am happy it is an extension. I want to keep him in Buffalo untill he retires.
4. McNabb was on NFL Network this A.M. He said he was winded but not sick the last two min of S.B. He went on to say he called all the plays not Freddie Mitchell. When told his being sick was the reason the Eagles lost, he said if that is how they want to spin it whatever. He was not asked and did not offer why the Eagles fugged up the two min. drill.

5. In good weather, you should get high 80s, low 90s (depending on transponder)

You usually get the same picture all the way down to 50-60.  However, if a storm comes through you can easily lose 10-20 points of signal strength.

Call DirecTV, ask for a free TiVo and a dish realignment.  They'll give it to you if you're not under a 1 year contract righ tnow.

Also ask for a new dish capable to receive HDTV. Sooner or later you will want HDTV, in the meantime this dish will provide 4 outputs & dolby digital audio. The round dish does not provide dolby digital audio. If you get TIVO it should have a dolby digital audio output.
6. You've got to be kidding with Kurt Warner.

He is as bad as Drew, not mention that he can't play the versatle offense that MM has designed for JP.

Pointless to have a backup that can't execute the base offense.

229428

Plus he has a noodle arm. His QB rating behind the Bills O-line last year & the winds at the Ralph would have been about 45.5
7. Canbuffan made some valid points about why it might not be time to put in Losman. Keep in mind that Losman had less than half a year of practice time. Without him being out there physically thowing the ball in practice, it will be hard for him to complete those passes in actual games.

But Bledsoe is not the answer. If you want a veteran starter--which is not a bad thing to want--there are other QBs to whom you can turn. QBs who have higher ratings than Bledsoe, and who can be signed for lower salaries. QBs like Kurt Warner!

227057

Warners throws would die like wounded ducks in the winds at the Ralph. He has 0 arm. At his best he was a west coast QB who could not throw the long ball. If we signed him, we may as well trade Evans because Warner could never in a million years get the ball to him.
8. 10-4 and I'm very pleased overall. Cable here (TW) is simply an inferior choice PQ wise and costs a bit more. Sadly, DirecTV also wised up to the benefits of having an RF remote and modulation so they no longer sell DirecTV units with an RF remote.....but there still are other ways to skin the same cat. We're now running 3 receivers though (up from 2) to satisfy my daughter.

P.S. We have 8 TV's hooked up to our home TV distribution system. Room to room and I never miss a play.....Go Bills

I bought an RCA from Circut City not long ago - it has RF remote,1 ant out, 2 rca outs, 1 s-video out ,1 interlaced video out & digital audio out.
9. Skip Bayless was on Cold Pizza this morning. The guy is an intolerable jerk. He was saying that Sammy Sosa doesn't deserve to go to the hall of fame because all he could do was hit the long ball.

I'm not a Sammy fan, but a guy who is going to end up with 600 hrs and a .275 BA deserves to be in the hall. His numbers are already better than Eddie Matthews, Willie McCovey, Mike Schmidt, Willie Stargell and Harmon Killebrew.

223909

They got their numbers without STEROIDS & CORKED BATS and with much better pitching.
10. In my opinion, Drew Bledsoe wasn't ready for over half of the games this season, and he's a seasoned veteran.

224691

I agree. The problem with Bledsoe is after the season he always went home, and forgot about football. If he had spent the offseason trying to improve,he may have reached his potential and the hall of fame. Let's hope J.P. is more like Brady than Bledsoe in that regard.
11. I sm getting so psyched up. I am really having to work at not getting prematurely excited about the potential to actually get some real value for Henry rather than a mere draft choice.

TD is quoted in two FLA papers making comments that trading Henry within the division is defintely doable at the right price.  Its nice to see that the Miami media and thus the fans deem the trade for Travis talk as newsworthy and thus a not unreasonable thing to do,

The articles also provided some new news to me because they quote Nick Saban as saying getting an RB is critical for the team.  Again, this is not news as their RB deficits are clear, but it is new to here Saban setting the table for them to spend valuable resources of some kind to get an RB.

Finally, the real kicker here for me are the TD quotes:

Are the Bills seeking a second-round draft choice for Henry?

"You could look at it that way," Donahoe said. "We want to do something that is fair, whether it's a player, a draft pick or a pick and a player.

"We want something that would indicate somebody is serious about having Travis. And if they are, we told his agent to have them call us and we'll take it from there."

Miami does not have a second round draft choice so if this deal is going to get it done then its got to be a player or a pick and a player to allow the Bills to say yes.

The other option of course are even higher value future picks, but my personal feeling isthat even current fraft picks are so speculative as to have a reasonable shot at giving you delayed or no value and future picks are even more potentially worthless.

Some folks may argue that a good GM values the future because the future one day will be the present.  This certainly true, but the present is definitely the present and after 4 years of no playoffs, TD appears in no danger, but playing to make the playoffs right now has got to be a priority for TD, Ralph and the Bills so in my mind trading Travis for even a first rounder in 2006 is worthless for this year and thus pretty worthless to me and I suspect TD as well.

221215

I don't think TD is as short sighted as you are. If ofered a #1 in 2006 I would take it, and I think TD would also.
12. Why spend all that money to do the same thing that he could do at home ( watch the game in a bar?)  Prices in J-Ville will be inflated besides.  If he wants to get out for the weather then more power to him.  Otherwise, watch with the buds.

Jax has very few hotels, as it is not a tourist destination. My advise would be go home to Philly and party with friends. (Could probably stay at dads house-should be plenty of room since dad will be at the game)
