    The parade

I had a dream recently in which the most vivid memory was like a commercial on tv with Josh holding the trophy and the subject was the upcoming parade and events. Looking forward to that De Ja Vu (sp?).

I'm also looking forward to Walker making me forget how much I wanted T'Vondre Sweat. (sp?)

I'm more interested in weeks 7-superbowl than weeks OTA through week 6. Recent Bills history might agree with me

Well there was " Tremaine is young and can cover 2/3rds of the field".  "Starr takes up 2 blockers". "DQ plugs lanes."  "We need Von to be fresh come playoffs"

and now the above. Joey blowey.  We coulda signed Riddick and Floyd for that dumbass deal. Hope I'm wrong and BTW, we're gonna need him more weeks 1 through 6 IMO.

Heh.  Flacco is "fools gold" as a QB at this point, IMO.  He can still master the playbook and he knows where to go with each throw, so he looks great wearing a red jersey.  But put him on the field with young fire-eaters coming full-speed-ahead for his liver and lungs, and it all falls apart.

I could be wrong, but I don't think a team will manage to keep Pickett on the practice squad.  Guy had a winning record, completed 63% of his passes, and threw more TDs than INT (though only slightly) in 2 years at Pittsburgh.  If Cleveland wants to keep him as an option, they'll need to find a roster spot for him.

Edit: Pittsburgh has a pretty storied history of good personnel decisions, but I have to wonder if Pickett isn't going to prove to be their Geno Smith.

Kenny Pickett will go to the Raiders and become Kenny Plunkett...

This is the exact type of blanket conclusion based on limited information in a two sentence statement that I was hoping to see in this thread. Thank you.

But what part do you think will be incorrect?

At first I did not get this, the Cowboys getting to the playoffs, or possibly winning the division!?

I was thinking Milton was a defensive player they got in free agency.

But then realized it was their backup QB! I had not read a lot of this thread, so that is likely why I didn't get it at first.

If Milton does start, and if he looks like he did against the Bills, and I had never seen a better rookie first game my entire life, then the Cowboys may actually have an outside chance to make the playoffs.

But with Jones' leadership, his obvious lack of ability as a GM and team leader, and his huge desire for the spotlight, any real leap this year is much less likely. But Milton may end up being his best move, a low risk shot worth taking.  As Dak will never lead a Cowboys' team to consistent playoff victories or the promised land. A different kind of bad leader than Jones, but not a leader of men either.  I cannot think of one supposedly good, long term starting quarterback who has looked more confused, out of touch, and out of his league when playing good teams, good defenses, than Prescott.

Thank our lucky stars the Bills have significantly better leaders at every level  of their organization.  This is a vital part of the Bills' success, and the opposite is true for the Cowboys.

Milton with Lamb and Pickens could make Jerra look like a genius, especially since he got them for so cheap.

When you have Goff, Lawrence, Tua, and Love all making the same money as Allen and Burrow, it starts to look like union rate for a starting QB. Prescott is just lol.

I'm willing to bet right now, that Milton leads the Cowboys to a wild card, possibly threatens for the NFCE title and Jerry Jones will be waving his Johnson at the naysayers.

Note...not a Jones or Coboys fan, just wouldn't be surprised.

I honestly think the Bills would be willing to give Ty Johnson a heavy workload with Ray Davis as the #2 if Cook legitimately held out into the regular season. Fact is 17 makes the offense go, Cook is a weapon but we’d score points without him.

If all else fails we can always give big Reggie G a few carries 😤

Gonna see a lot of Gore this summer.

I think the Bills are looking at some changes schematically and it began last year. It started with selecting Soloman in the draft, a much smaller quicker pass rusher than what they typically go for. Then there is the fact that the Bills began playing more man coverage throughout the year. And now drafting a CB with off the charts speed that can play man. Also, drafting another 3 tech DT when everyone thought it would be a 1 tech. The Bills still like their scheme, but it seems they are gradually mixing things up and we are going to see more of that this year.

There is a lot of conversation about how other defenses have adapted to stop a Josh Allen led offense. With the way Buffalo's defense performed last year, perhaps it has become clear that offenses have found ways to combat a Bill's defense. I'm just speculating, but I have a hunch the new additions aren't just replacements for a specific defensive scheme. It seems to be about scheme diversity. These additions allow the Bills to mix up not only types of coverage but also defensive line rotations with guys that have different skill-sets. The potential is there for the Dline to wreak some havoc by mixing up the scheme and the type of player on that line. Not sure how they intend to do it. It does look like they can be more flexible now though. To me Landon Jackson is just another piece that allows for a diverse rotation.

To sum it up...It's about Damn time!

  9. I heard it talked about ( I think it was BB) and the first thing they're gonna do is look at Hancock at Safety and nickel. It doesn't sound like he has the ball skills for a

Safety but I'm sure they'll try Strong out in different spots. They'll land where they're supposed to. We need a freewheeling ball hawk. Can't have all box guys.

Pretty sad when Hughes is considered a top 3 defensive end in Bills history. Only two seasons with 10 sacks, zero pro bowls, zero all pros. The Bills don't really have a great history of pass rushers outside of Bruce Smith. Schobel was pretty darn good, though.

Bryce Paup should be on the list.

Truly laugh out loud funny. Noho Hank is a great character, but the casting for the whole thing in general was awesome. That is my favorite clip from the whole series. My wife enjoys the series, as well, but probably wasn't as amused by it when I referred to her as "queen of Suckballs Mountain" for the next month.

Yeah it was well done except the end, but NOHO was the first thing to pop in my head with Jackson. lol

He was projected to be a 1st rd pick at the end of 2023 - 2024 season, definitely a solid gamble especially in the 4th round

He's gonna be a difference maker from day 1. He can reach both ends of the line from the middle. We finally got what we needed and nobody has tape on our new look D.

Disagree it actually favors Beane even more showing these clowns had no idea what they were talking about in terms of not drafting a WR.  Beane was in contact for a while with Moore, showing he didn’t feel he had to reach in the draft and had post draft options if a WR didn’t happen early in the draft.

Not to mention, these fools were clamoring for someone other than a depth WR like Moore too.

They've been on the WR train for a while. They cried for Zay Flowers nonstop for one example.
