  1. Allen is capable of MVP-level play, but he flashes and implodes in equal measure. I think that explains the polarizing “narratives”.  Anyone who watches the Bills on a weekly basis can admit it’s still in doubt whether Allen can play with the efficiency/consistency necessary to string together a Super Bowl run or MVP season.

The NFL has unmatched parity for professional sport and an uncanny ability to keep 25 teams and game pairs relevant in late Dec. that parity is exposing & highlighting any team, officiating, player cracks.

True. Likely due to the physicality of the game and wear/tear/injuries that level the playing field on any given Sunday. Outside of few exceptions, it's a glut of average or inconsistent teams capable of beating each other given the right circumstances.

The Bills have a uncanny knack of playing down to the level of the team they are playing against, for some unknown reason if they could just stay where they were playing against either of the last 2 games prior to the Chargers they would go on a long play off run but for what ever reason they don't .

They need that killer instinct they have the weapons they just need to be more consistent with their play .

“Playing down to competition” is just a back-handed compliment…a throwaway line like “at their best they can beat anyone” (which applies to lots of teams).

Bills are an average team among the league’s parity. But it should make for a very interesting playoff tourney.

That sounds like a personal attack on someone for simply having a different opinion. I think there are forum rules against name calling but I see that only enforced if you are on a certain side of the argument. Funny how that works

“Narratives”, “agendas”, “trolls”, “hate”, etc. are cudgels for weak-minded fans.

I'll settle this real quickly. Take LaPorta out of the Lions offense and put him in the Bills offense and take Kincaid and put him in the Lions offense, production is flipped. There, now go back to not making stupid posts. It's not Kincaid, it's how they are used

Right. Of course. That empty hypothetical that can’t be debated.

Beane wanted a WR but then had to scramble for Kincaid. It may be that the type of pass-catching TE that Kincaid can become will take longer to develop.
