Really really hope Allen goes out of his way to develop a close relationship with Keon and speed up the growing process
Force feed him in camp and the regular seasonBarring a trade for an elite WR...& even if we did land one, Keon should be getting plenty of looks IMO
Best case scenario at this point with roster as is.....Claypool is reborn and starts outside opposite Keon.
Keon
ClaypoolSamuel
Shakir

I originally wanted Worthy or Legette at 28 & 32
I'm OK with Keon being the guy now + getting a DT 3/4 + starting caliber CenterAlso, Legette being on Carolina means he will end up on the Bills by 2028

Mike Edwards
Cole Bishop
Taylor Rapp
Cam Lewis
If we can somehow find the cap space for Simmons & a WR trade, then I'd explore that.Otherwise Hyde as a possible rotational player would be fine

5 career TD's is pretty impressive for an LB. He's 29 and capable of starting should Milano / Bernard not be able to go.
I think we're pretty solid at LB, even if Milano can't start the season. Both Morrow and Jones are upgrades over last year's depth.Legit 6 deep
Milano
Bernard
Nicholas Morrow
Deion JonesDorian Williams
Alaskan Nigerian
B. Spector
Could we see a bit more of 4-3 Base than previous years?Or even some 3-4 looks on 3rd downs?
We could line up Von & Solomon at OLB as a pass rush nightmare for OL's

I'd be interested in Hyde being brought back as a situational player and to help Mike Edwards and Bishop acclimate to the system faster
I'd love Simmons, but would rather put that $$ toward a WR trade next month -

I think they open at home. 1:00 game vs NE. Bonus prediction - Bills will wear all whites for the home opener
Primetime games
Jets - Allen and Rodgers (MNF)
at Ravens (SNF)
at Texans (MNF)
49ers (SNF)
Good point on Rodgers! Although the MNF opener didn't work out well for either team last year- 1

And what does that tell you? It tell me they didn't have enough and they didn't play up to their talent level.
The Niners and eagles also happened to have two of the best WR groups in the league and the Ravens were very strong as well. That didn't matter at all.
it tells me that Mahomes + Kelce = Victory in big moments and big games. -

Wrong argument. WR isn't what will hold back the Bills from a championship. Defensive star power and depth will do that.
the Ravens Eagles and Niners have had PLENTY of defensive star power and all came up short. -
I really like the potential of Claypool working out for us. He’ll want $$$$ and he likely has realized this is his last stop in the NFL with a real chance of playing a meaningful role
If he’s a changed man in some aspects,
he could certainly win a top 4 WR role here
possibly even one of the primary boundary starters opposite Coleman
The Steelers offense was a mess when he left there, the Bears were a joke and Miami wasn’t taking Hill or Waddle out for him.
He MAY have the most pure talent in our WR room.

Chase Claypool is a huge wildcard. He has been a disaster since his sophmore season
I do agree we are trending bigger, and that is a good thing, but Chase Claypool will have to reinvent himself here. He hasn't been a positive attitude guy, whatever it takes for the team to win guyThe Bills must believe something has changed or they wouldn't have even bothered IMO

I want 4-3 looks on 3rd down with him lined up at OLB

I mean he played for pit and Chicago back to back which is pretty much wr hell lol then got traded to Miami midseason. Not sure how high the expectations for him should’ve been in a partial season under a new offensive system.
if he gets his head out of his a** and has a full offseason with a team that can actually throw the ball he could be dangerous. If not, cut him. Great signing imo
this where I'm at 100%. If he's trouble or doesn't produce in camp....easy cut.
IF IF IF he's a changed man with a lot to prove.....could be jackpot for us

Gabe has a higher catch percentage than Mike Evans, not sure what this a stat is supposed to prove.
he has somehow managed to have more receptions in 6 fewer career games than Gabe Davis

Hmmm well if he wakes up, Claypool runs a 4.42 at 6'4 230 lbs ....

Claypool had 77 yards last year and 400 the year before. We are like 3 years from him doing squat.
I'm sure a good portion of that was his own doing....but the teams/situation and QB play also is a factor.
comeback player of the year. Why not!!!

Claypool chooses #14 🤣

Chris Brown and Tasker talking about it now.
Claypool's #'s are not far off from Gabe Davis (except the TD's)
Claypool has a higher catch rate
Chase: 58 Games 175 Rec, 2261 12.9 13 TD
Gabe: 64 Games 163 Rec, 2730 16.7 27 TDClaypool has had below average QB play......

Bills just added another large receiver Chris Claypool to a room of Coleman, Shavers, Hollis, and Shorter. It makes me think that McDermott and Brady are thinking about expanding on their 52% run vs pass.
or maybe they want WR's that can win vs physical press in the playoffs?

I like the signing. I have to ignore most of the board after FA signings and draft picks as you guys would, as my Grandpa used to say, "B word if you were hung with a new rope"
Honest to God, if we had traded to #4 and all 3 top WR's were there you guys would complain on which one we took. Then we paid too much, blah blah blah LOL But thats also why I love this board, if everyone agreed life would be borking.
As its been said, he is only 25 guys, and for Beane to give him a 1 year deal and bring him into the locker room, Claypool must have convinced McBeane he has changed. If he has, holy **** what a talent. If not, Bye felecia.
Let try to be positive shall we? IF he can work out my God we have a good WR room. Shakir, Coleman, and a Claypool that pulled his head out? Wow.
Don't forget Curtis Samuel! I'm starting to believe he's going to get way more targets than expected

I'm secretly rooting for KC to win that game....because it means we'll then beat them in the playoffs 😂
at least that's how the trend has been
We should have gone there on Monday or Tuesday so the entire team could have had fun experiences seeing the city and acclimating their bodies to time change, etc
instead the "sports science" guys wanted a Red eye on Thurs-Fri.......
is it a coincidence that Milano and DaQuan both suffered bad injuries? Maybe.
But, the team was NOT ready to play and IMO it was the scheduling aspect from the team that caused it
