The Chiefs are always one step ahead of the Bills...Carptom1 replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall This is the only difference in the Quarterback. Mahomes plays confidently because he can count on the coaching and the players around him to pick him up when he is a little short. He feeds of their excellence. Allen plays with a lack of confidence because he has been let down by those around him. Mahomes would not have flourished in his situation either. As far as Worthy goes I don’t think his ceiling is extremely high but he has been acceptable this year. Finally Mcduffie, Watson and many others are a product of Spags. Remember we let a shut down corner go last year in Sneed because he wanted the bag. Look up his stats in Tennessee, they were not good. He is a defensive back creator

It’s not about holding back… A good coordinator analyzes tape and comes up with ways to exploit tendencies and weaknesses. I saw things on offense from the Chiefs last night I had not seen in previous games. When it works it works. Sometimes they get away from what is working trying to stay a step ahead. I thought we were screwed after half when Cook got going… then inexplicably it stopped. More than anything else that was puzzling.

I agree 100%… Allen was not your problem. Again you were out schemed by better coaches. When you guys got into a hurry up and ran it down our throats after half I thought we were done. Our line was getting gassed and I really thought we were going home. Then for whatever reason it was gone. Just like last year against the Ravens.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at ChiefsCarptom1 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall Teams have been saying that forever but yet he still seems to show up. The best plan is to hit him off the line then cover him…. It’s not like he is running away from anyone

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at ChiefsCarptom1 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall It is overrated when you are dealing with high level QB’s like mahomes and Allen. They seem to feed off the opposing crowds as much as their own. I do think it gives the home defense a bit of an advantage, especially when they can’t hear the cadence. I don’t think it will make much of a difference Sunday. Both teams have dealt with it enough.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at ChiefsCarptom1 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall DK is 1.5 currently… it was 2.5 this morning. That would tell me bigger money is probably coming in on the Bills driving it down. It will probably move a bit more but not much.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at ChiefsCarptom1 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall They are getting too much money on KC and need to even it out. You can’t trust the information that comes out regarding where the money goes. Most of the uniformed public will be on the Chiefs. Those 10-20 bets add up.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at ChiefsCarptom1 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall No the line suggests that the opposite is happening. The books are trying to entice Buffalo money by giving them more points. The casual bets skew everything and make it hard to track.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at ChiefsCarptom1 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall It’s more than luck. I have read many posts on here stating that the Bills will win by more than 10+… Chiefs fans aren’t the only ones that are delusional. I will agree anyone saying Reid was holding things back are idiots. But I will say that there were times it did appear that the team was apathetic during the regular season. It would be pretty natural after all the highly stressful games they have played at the end of the last 3 seasons. Finally I have to laugh at the few posts I have seen that make reference to the Chiefs being afraid of the Bills…. Highly doubtful, I have to believe that the Chiefs fully believe that they could lose on Sunday and that you just happen to be the next opponent.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at ChiefsCarptom1 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall This is where coaches and teams get in trouble. They get away from what they are good at riding with what got them there. I have watched the Ravens do it two years in a row. Allen has done a great job protecting the ball and taking what defenders are giving him. Against the Lions this played into their weakness. They had little pass rush and their defensive backs were weak. If you do it against the Chiefs you will play into our strengths. Mcduffie and Watson will minimize Cooper and Shakir. The money will be made with Coleman, Knox and Cook as after those two our coverage can be shaky.
