But if you had the option wouldn't you like to have an enclosed stadium where weather isn't a factor for either team and you can just enjoy the game without freezing?

Yeah of course from a fan perspective I would prefer it. I had seasons for 10 years and that was a factor why I stopped renewing a few years ago. But from a player perspective I don’t think it’s as big of a factor. You want to be on a winning team no matter what. When you only play 8 home games and a few have a possibility to be a weather factor, it shouldn’t be a top concern.

Actually think one of the biggest benefits to having a dome here would be the non football stuff… big concerts, car shows, boat shows, monster trucks, whatever, would be a big boost to the economy and would offset costs. With Ralph gone nobody would object to all that multi use.

I think we hit 98 yarder vs PIT due to wind.

98 yarder. 3rd play. Starting the game, PIT D played far too close to goal. PIT wrongly assumed there’s no way josh cuts thru that wind, over top. He did.

I’m pro stadium cover because we aren’t always going to have Josh and I want to attract the best players.

That’s a valid point, but there are a lot of other bad weather stadiums that are not enclosed that are able to attract top end free agents. I think a better designed stadium that can cut down on the impact of the elements can go a long way… how many players were anti New England, Green Bay, Pittsburg, etc. just because they were cold weather outside.

    He was never close

Sort of disappointing. As much as I want to see the Bills and Allen have complete dominance, it is kinda cool to see new young rivalries pop up. Glad to see our division have draft duds but like to see high level competition between the rest of the AFC.

Herbert does not impress me. I have no idea how any of the Pundits could have even considered him being better then Allen. It must be people simply trying to be contrarians

Coming into this season I thought he would have been right up there at the top, maybe a tier below Allen and Mahomes. Doesn’t look to even be close so far.

  5. I think he’ll be on a limited snap count for a”his first few games while they slowly get him back to his all pro form.

Outside of having official ordering on the depth charts, I think they’ll go with a heavy rotation between white, Benford, Elam, Jackson so it will be hard to tell true CB 1-4, at least for a few more games.

Also seems like it would depended on the game plan for specific opponents and if they plan on playing a lot of man vs. zone. Definitely a good problem to have.

  6. I thought it was funny that Romo called out that he’s never seen a motion man used that way on a QB sneak before. That was the 4th down attempt on the last drive. They did the same exact thing on 3rd and short in the second quarter. Romo normally picks up on those types of details.

Or maybe it smells so bad from all that pee from the sinks the Bills fans use in the bathrooms drains into the visitors locker room LOL!

Haha, that's how Ralph really cheaped out. Just have the trough drain down into an open gravel bottom pit hidden in the back closet of the visitor's locker room. It will drain out eventually...

maybe you’re right, i just foresee that being pretty ugly for the Browns if he hasn’t even had a chance to practice with the offense at all.

Which would be great to see. Getting thrown right back into football after being away for all that time, hardly any practice with a new team, going back to a city that should be a hostel environment for him (if the fans show up). Could be quite the blow (no pun intended) to his psyche and the mental aspect of his game.

  9. Today's injury report shows Benford will be available. Could still be an inactive for Sunday, but it sounds like he has a good chance to be dressed. I'm assuming it will be more for insurance to dress him if someone goes down but won't see many snaps if he's still wearing the cast.

Benford's hand can be protected with a cast.  I think he'll play versus the Chiefs.

It could be possible, but how effective would he really be. Normally you see d line or linebacker play through with a cast but not a DB that relies on good hands as a critical part of their play.

If the Panthers pick him up can they fuse him, Mayfield and Darnold into a good 2018 QB or do they still need one more?

Sounds more like the human centipede… we are coming up to Halloween after all. Just need to add Mason Rudolph to the experiment.

  12. What a terrible game of football. At least for me the streaming quality on the Amazon app was very high quality for the second week in a row. Amazon did a good job putting together their commentary crew as well. Like Fitz and Sherman a lot. Always thought Michaels does a good job calling games as well. They must have paid a lot to get him to come over.

  13. When the OBJ rumors started coming out before the season, I thought it would be a great move. Bring in a proven vet and difference maker coming off an injury for cheap to play the last few weeks and help in a real shot at the SB.

Now with all the injuries piling up, it seems more likely that we’re going to need to spend the cap buffer that could have been used on a luxury OBJ add to bring in a few guys for need to plug some of the holes early on instead.

Yes, there are times when an obviously stupid lawsuit pans out, but this guy has absolutely no chance.

Aside from being in the act of breaking the law as it is, he also snuck a cannister of unknown gas into the stadium, then proceeded to unleash it inside... exposing players & fans alike to something potentially dangerous.

Wagner can easily say he didn't know what chemicals were being sprayed everywhere & feared for his safety. Releasing an unknown gas into the air, running past players & security while doing so, could easily be considered as a potential threat.

Hopefully it never comes to Wagner having to defend himself to that degree but this is absolutely true.

We know it was just a smoke bomb now, but what if it wasn’t? Some crazy guy running on the field towards players, staff, and fans, sets off some flaming canister of gas. Wagner could have pulled a Myles Garrett helmet smash on the guy and just said he was trying to protect himself everyone in harms way. Would be an easy self defense case.

Thinking about how much money this could end up costing the so called “activist”, he could have just saved himself the time and donated that towards his cause.

I would have said the entire premise is absurd because, with the top notch training facilities and the training staff, this scenario would be impossible.

Over the past few seasons as the Bills were able to remain relatively healthy, the top notch training facilities and staff were always brought up. Wondering with everything they have been dealing with this season if that was just luck all along or if something significantly changed or standards declined with training more recently.
