Plot twist. He can't make a choice because.... Drumroll... He never got offered

Seems likely at this point. Nobody is going to roll the dice with him at if he can’t contribute this year. There’s a lot more options for all the possible teams when looking towards the next 2 years.

I wonder if it'd be more like they are saying this out of Dallas so other teams back off of him?  There's a whole lots of misleadingness (made that up) in the NFL.

Possible but the other teams that have serious interest in him like this Bills also have checked him out. The doctors and trainers on the Bills staff will know more details of his status than rumors coming out of Dallas.

  3. Bringing back Beasley would be pretty interesting if he would go for a deal that actually makes sense. I wanted to see them get OBJ on a one year deal just for the playoffs but it seems unlikely he is going to settle for just short term. Plus, without doing workouts with the teams he's visiting, he probably isn't going to be ready to do much even in playoff time this year.

A healthy and well rested Beasley added to the room going into the playoffs this year would be a lot different than him trying to gut out injuries going into the playoffs like he did the last two years. His age isn't going to let him have the full year high production numbers like he did a few years ago, but just a few weeks of contribution if he gives it his all like he has before can be a difference maker. Not to mention he's always had good chemistry with Josh and wouldn't have to learn everything they are running from scratch like the other options.

In the Town of Lancaster area, have about 2 feet here, maybe a little less...snow shifted south we are currently right north of the upper band but it has begun shifting north again and still are expecting an addition 20-30 inches by tomorrow morning.

At least 3 feet in Hamburg/Lakeview now and it doesn't look like it is letting up anytime soon. Got enough over night that most of my neighbors with medium to large snow blowers are really struggling to make progress. Needed to plow a path through the grass to clear out the furnace vent.

Have to think they will salt the roads and every plow will be going 24-7. With those totals it will still be hard to keep up with the storm.

For sure and if it is just a typical Buffalo winter storm they will keep up. If it ends up turning into a historic November 2014 type storm, that's when they can't keep up, get buried, and need a few days to dig out.

Interesting that my iPhone still shows zero snow on Sunday in Buffalo. It shows all of the snow on Friday and Saturday. But it does show it being pretty windy. Game on!

It could be perfect weather at game time Sunday afternoon. The issue is if 4+ feet gets dumped on the area Thursday - Saturday, not enough time to clear the stadium out so it is useable and the roads clear so players can even get there.

  7. With all the Moss bashing and Moss trade jokes aside, I think he will go on to have an okay NFL career. Nothing amazing but more then us fans thinks he’s capable of. He was never going to get an opportunity here on a pass heavy offense.

He seems to need consistent running to get into rhythm, so the splitting with Singletary wasn’t going to work. Singletary is similar in that way too so neither of them could get any traction trying to be 1a and 1b. He didn’t offer any unique skills either with being too similar to Singletary. Good luck to him.

There's a time and place for everything.  For example, after the Cook catch and then the Cook run, we had a second and goal from the three yard line with a little over ten minutes left in the game and a 27 - 10 lead.  I'm sorry but the call there should have been to run on second down.  If you don't get in, run on third down and if you still aren't in, either kick the field goal or go for it on fourth down. You are either up 34 - 10, 30 - 10 or 27 - 10 and GB has the ball around the one yard line with about 8 minutes left.  I'd really like to see if this team is capable of bull rushing the ball into the end zone from inside the five.

If there ever was a time and a place to go conservative, it doesn’t get any better than that scenario.
