    High...like an 8.

Was just out snowblowing and there is almost no wind at all, at least where I am in Depew/Lancaster area.

It's cold, like 11 degrees but no real wind. Will be similar to the Patriot game just a few degrees warmer.

Just got done snow blowing in Lake View. No significant wind here either. Not like yesterday and Saturday night when I had to wear my ski goggles to snowblow.

I went to West Seneca schools. Those bastards never closed and if they did, were the very last. Didn't help that "W" was at the end of the alphabet on the radio school closing broadcast!

    😕😞

Yeah but if you just missed your school on the ticker, it was like a 15 minute wait until it came back around again. It’s like waiting on the draft details when you missed our pick.

  3. I saw the Steelers also changed their travel plans to fly in tomorrow at 3 pm instead of 3 today. Seems like that could be problematic if it’s not going to let up until Monday. Seems like they should have stuck to their plan and been here ahead of the storm. Think of the outrage if they end up pushing it back till Tuesday because of that decision.

I was at that game (which was also against the Steelers IIRC)… not the stadium grounds crew‘s finest hour!

I was there too. Sitting in the end zone just a few rows up. We couldn't stop laughing at the huge mess they made. Once it started happening in the middle, they sort of just committed to ruining the entire field just to get the pellets all the way off.

I don't think it gets that bad, as of right now it looks like this might be a 1-2' event with a few places locally higher.

That could change tho with future model runs as things come more into focus. I mean the times we got 7 feet of snow, it started out expecting 6-12".

I remember you had some great info last year leading up to the 6 feet during the November storm. Didn’t the local forecasters start to warn the storm would be measured in feet not inches about 5 days before it started though? Seems like we are getting to the timeframe where they have a good indication if it will be a “normal” lake effect day vs. a major event.
