  1. It is not need-based. It comes from taxes calculated based on what you've earned throughout your working life and have paid into the system toward retirement. That seems like a pretty basic thing for you to not know.
  2. The side effects will be impressive. With luck, not permanent.
  3. Kinda how the mayor of LA went to Ghana during the fire disaster? Of course she IS mayor of the city. Unlike USAID workers.
  4. Tampa is a great city, so much fun stuff to do! And not far from the beaches. I hope they have an awesome time!
  5. At the end of the day it will turn out that Liberals: Despised this era's George Washington (Trump) Despised this era's Thomas Edison (Musk) And that the two men will have succeeded in making the country a better place in spite of Libnut opposition.
  6. Okay, nice to know you aren't all that plugged into the topic. Glad you have opinions though!
  7. Where in Florida are they? We're rooting for UF here, that's where both of my kiddos went to school.
  8. The people who think it won't work are those who are worried that their party won't be returned to power. I think Trump's going for a financial reset of a much larger magnitude than anything we've seen in our lifetimes. I'm happy to see it play out. He'll either end up on Mt. Rushmore for it or not. There's that much at stake. "Predicting" what will happen short-term is a rather fruitless task, but Lefties are welcome to continue doing that.
  9. Of course Joe Biden could have done it his way, but he was tired with a touch of dementia. (i.e. "The BEST version of Biden," per Joe Scarborough) And Kamala could have done it HER way, but she seemed to not know how to articulate that, and even went so far as to say she "wouldn't change a thing" about what the Biden/Harris administration did. Now the American people COULD have elected her, in spite of that, but they didn't. So now it's going to be Trump's way. And it won't just affect this country, it'll affect the planet as a whole.
  10. They have to figure out how to de-grift the process. Where Did Haiti's $13.5 Billion In Earthquake Aid Go?
  11. I wouldn't know, I don't waste time counting people's posts. I DO waste time responding to Libnuts though!
  12. Definitely sounds like a good use of liberals' time!
  13. Tim Walz quality weirdo?
  14. Trump has a plan. It'll either be successful or not. I have more confidence in Trump's plan than Kamala's (whatever she imagined she was going to do). We can speculate as to whether it will work, and we can panic over the stock market, and we can complain about the price of eggs, but none of that changes anything. It either will or it won't. And if it does we won't be arguing about the metrics. Likewise if it doesn't. If you didn't vote for him then you can't expect him to do things you would want. Trump is taking aim at the global financial system, so we'll see how much success he has in changing that system.
  15. The dead ones are fighting back! Hard to distinguish from the living Dems these days. They're also screaming about the 'stock market.'
  16. Isn't that about how much support the Dems have these days?
  17. Ontario Measles Outbreak More Than Doubles After Vaccine Push
  18. They are basically self-trolling but I don't mind applauding their form as they do it. Here goes Schumer:
  19. There was 'education' before there was a 'Department of Education.' In fact, our students were better educated at that time. It's been all downhill since the 'Department of Education' came along. (i.e. The Department of Educational Bureaucracy.)
  20. I do remember those things as being centerpieces of the Kamala Campaign.
