  1. You know you wont be playing the Jets or Dolphins in the playoffs. 1-5 record against teams this year who are .500 or better. Got over 30 twice in those 6 games. Perspective is a big thing here.
  2. Allen has led them to a 7-6 record while playing a cupcake schedule. Why in the world is this guy all of a sudden going to run the table against playoff teams when his record against teams at .500 or better is 1-5 ????(the one win coming against a KC team that was a shell of what it is today)
  3. Looks like just like it was in the 90's when Buffalo went to four straight Super Bowls thanks to being in the incredibly weak AFC. In those years, the real Super Bowl was the NFC Championship game. Heck, there were probably five teams way better than Buffalo in the NFC who's fan base had to watch an inferior team playing in the Super Bowl (Dallas, Washington, Green Bay, San Francisco, Giants) were all better than Buffalo. Fast forward, 25 years and here we go again. Not a single 10-win team in the AFC while the NFC has three and another two with nine wins. While KC has 9 wins, they have also already played 8 games at home. NE is 7-1 against the AFC but only 2-3 against the NFC. Tennesee seems to be the only comparitively strong team in the AFC but come on, Ryan Tannenhill is going to win a Super Bowl? This has to be the year for the Bills....they have been handed a cupcake schedule within a cupcake conference so they better make the most of it.
  4. Isn't the sign of a top qb is that he wins games against tough opponents? Sooo...6 of 7 of Allens wins have come against teams with losing records. All but one of the 6 losses have come against teams with records .500 or better. Not to mention the gaudy stats he has wracked up against the defenses that are the dredges of the league. I know it has been almost 30 years since the Bills have had a high end quarterback, but this MVP anointment of Allen is hilarious.
  5. First of all, the Patriots are not anything close to the best team in the NFL. Maybe the pathetic AFC, but over in the real conference, there are probably 5 teams better. Secondly, what course are the Bills really on. Nobody can deny that their cupcake schedule has been a big reason for their record. This is proven by the fact that other than the KC game (where they played a team in disarray at the time but would probably lose now), they have lost to every team they have faced that has a winning record. On top of that, their wins have come against the literal dredge teams of the NFL whose combined record is 36-50. There is a perspective thing at play so ranking the Bills defense so high or claiming Allen is an MVP candidate when the Bills have played so many games against godawful opponents screams for perspective
