    Honestly, yes.

An argument is there to be made that we should make our fastball faster.

Load up on the pass rush.

Bring Von along slowly.. Allow EDGE dealing with a nagging injury to fully heal (Floyd, Rousseau) and then once everyone is healthy, we can kick Rousseau inside on passing downs.

No better way to protect a sus secondary than with nonstop pass rush.

With his pay cut, this is a cheap way to add another legit weapon to the defense.

And the pendulum can swing back to Defense wins championships at least for this year as the Bills steamroller thru the playoffs with best defense while our offense is top notch as well.

He may not be as quick as Milano but he's a smart veteran and already knows Bills defensive plays. There's a reason he is kept in the PS. He will shine in the starting lineup.

As well. He can help coach up Williams on what he's sees when he 8s on field maybe enough to keep Williams from any rookie mistakes.  Just get sense that Dorian is more voachable than Tremaine ever was based on the lack of growth to Tremaine's game.   Also maybe there's is some plan to bring in a free agent vet in later part of year to beef up area of need without the full cost of rest of season cost in cap $$.  Say a Anthony Barr is open to playing in 2nd half of season for a chance at a ring without the full toil of a full season and benefitting from being healthy and fresh in 5 h e end run to playoffs and thru the post season as well.

He may take a team friendly deal for a chance at a ringvwith less wear and tear if he signs later in year.  Free agents don't have to worry bout a trade deadline.  Not sure what the cutoff date is to add a new player to roster for season.

Dorian Williams time! Klein should be added to the active roster, but he should be the backup.

I will trust McD has a plan to play the LB needed based on the game situations.  If our offense plays to its capability then I'm not too scared of our defense taking a few hits down in ranking as we have been pretty solid defensively in most of the games.  Good enough to be complementary to a high powered offense  of whi c h Josh is more than capable when he's patient and reading the defenses properly.  Seems like Josh should watch more film on opponents not so much how they'd play him in past games just what are their defensive strengths and what works best to get that defeated.  Josh is capable of dink dunk  as well as big plays 8f the defense has problems in pass  defense.

What is the earliest they could be designated to return?  8 weeks?

Not expecting them to be ready, just curious how long IR is now.

Isn't it like 4 weeks the earliest or something like that.?

Anyhow let the injured heal up for when they can play again and hoping that they can be given all the time needed because the replacements are doing enough to allow 5he team to walk away with wins regardless of how pretty the stats are or aren't just need to see  point better on scoreboard every game when the clock hits 0.

Why? Diggs knows he ran the wrong route. That’s why he’s acting the way he is.

It shows he expects as much from himself as he expects from others.  Yet as good as Diggs is he can have an off play at an inopportune moment and he may vent but it's better 5han letting all that anger stay internal.  That can cause more mental lapses as the stress builds with no release.

Indeed until they find him he could be either the perpetrator but he could also maybe deceased some a here or he is being held by some criminals that robbed the mothers home while both were there.  They maybe killed the mother during break-in  then weren't leaving any witnesses so Sergio was taken  he could be hurt or deceased.  That's what the investigation is for  to find the truth on what happened.   I say prayers that he's ok and wasn't responsible for his mom's murder.

Yea would be very bad if he was with his mom and some unknown parties are responsible for killing his mom and kidnapped him to make it seem he is the person who killed her.  He may be totally innocent b of that  or be totally responsible.  Until the investigation is concluded to I'd the suspected perpetrators this is just a bad situation.

This is all internal business stuff. The players on both teams probably didn't even know these people except in passing. But it is interesting that Roth is out as he was just named in July. Financial Shanangans?

Maybe we caught betting on nfl games?

All the “no’s” understand he’s on the last year here right? He’ll be a UFA and the way he’s playin - demand a ton of money. Money we don’t have (at least I don’t think we do).

And if he helps us get a sb win I'll be happy he gets paid somewhere.  Get the comp pick restock...

Bills have a great chance to win the next 3 games to improve to 6-2. Everyone will forget this feeling and the fact that this team struggles in tight games with tough opponents. Then the next tough opponent, Cincy, will bring all the negative feelings back. Just like clockwork. Book it.

Yet cincy might be a tire fire by the time we play them.  Just because they started slow finished strong doesn't mean they will be a strong finish but rather just a sad finish for the bengals.

Not exactly. The Bills have Daddy Warbucks for an owner. Redo a couple contracts to create room. They need a solution at CB as the likelihood of Tre returning to form post Achilles is slim. Surtain would be a worthwhile addition, not a rental.

As well think Allen will take team friendly deals.  He certainly gets lot of press as Bills QB1.  He's making some nice pocket change in his endorsement deals he can make sure he reworks deals for his guys.

Maybe.  It depends on the following:

     - Are Milano & Jones definitely gone for this season?  If either can make it back for the playoffs, stand pat at their position.

     - How do the replacements do?  Williams might be alright.  I was excited when we signed Poona Ford.  Both will be a dropoff, but in a D like this, maybe not significant enough to warrant any other moves.

They could be ok with a less stellar defense but only if the offense plays the keep away game by eating chunks of game clock.  Then even a timely turnover by defense can make enough impact to get the bigger gap  in score letting our defenders tee off or play prevent as game is progressing can adjust to what's happening.

Hits and misses describes it well. I like the kid and think he can develop over time. The worry I have going forward is if Williams and Bernard are the LB group going forward....that is a LOT of inexperience to overcome from one position group.

But might be the youth infusion was neglected somewhat due to Milano and younger safety in Hyde poyer both have lost a step and it's showing with the injuries.  Daquan being out early likely lead to Milano injury if part of the bent leg occurred as a failure to keep our lbers clean to make plays.  Might have edge being younger to play through the bumps and bruises.

I heard someone say earlier this week that the premiere league won’t let the grass be used for anything other than their games. There have been issues in the past with the fields being ripped up too much after an NFL game. If that’s the case, the NFL gave the premiere league way too much leverage.

Wouldn't there be the ability for the nfl to ship and have handy the same grass sheets the Premiere league uses.  The NFL use their paid for turf it gèts stored or recycled on the sheets that were too damaged. The PL has their turf.  Everyone wins.

This is where all the Beane offseason moves kick in (Poona, keeping lots of DBs, Rapp, drafting LBs high every year).  Let's hope it's enough.

Josh may need to go dust off the cape.

He just needs to win the Top as much as he finds those boring he can kill any team when he's got the Clark Kent glasses on.

I never said I would tell my guys not to move, just not to believe it's a run if Diggs is running. For all I know it's like the guys above said Maybe they are setting up the Jags for a big play this weekend by showing a "fake" tendency.

Yea maybe they have a delayed screen pass to Diggs once they bite on a fake run hsndoff.

True. Most of this board would be celebrating if we signed Edmunds to that contract. But since we didn't of course it has to be he sucks.

It such a weird place sometimes. If you complain that Spencer Brown, Gabe Davis, or whoever is not good enough your a hater and need to find another team. You say that Edmunds is a good player and you are clueless. Ed Oliver was terrible when people thought he would not be resigned, he comes back and now he is amazing. McD takes over as DC and we are so much better than our top 5 D from last year that started off the year with a better 3 game performance.

Miami. To Oliver's credit he got paid  and now is actually living up to that contract.  It remains to be seen if he continues to do so.  The rotation as well as our backend complement each other well.  Will see if that continues with the shuffling needed after white was lost for season.  I think we will be fine McD knows how to tinker with pass coverages. And that gave our guys the time to take Tua down.  We didn't hit him in any dirty way just solidly.  Let teams that can get to Tua copy our game with success.

Maybe it had weak competition, but either way it was a ridiculously over the top one that would have been tough to top.

I was surprised  that Diggs run after bouncing off 2 Dolphins wasn't at least a contender as well.
