  1. Rescue Me. Thought it would be boring. Turned out to be top 3 favorite of all time with SOA and Sopranos.
  2. Our Olympic team, unlike almost every other, is privately funded. If the politicians want them to wear "Made in the USA" they should put the Olympics in the budget and start paying to support them. Since that won't happen, STFU and start working on things that matter, like say Medicare.
  3. "A whole lot of talent with a mediocre at best quarterback." That doesn't quite roll off the tongue.
  4. I was 10 when Scotty missed the kick. I was born into this team and have loved/hated them since I can remember. You old farts who had a choice are the reason we are who we are today. Cheers to you.
  5. Yeah, I know. We all know Ralph owns the USPS, UPS, and FedEx. That cheap bastard. It's a fire sale morons. Yes, the old stevestojan is breaking out here for a moment to call you morons. Dirt cheap jerseys based on super limited demand. You want them to just burn them instead? $4 for ANY jersey is a steal, even compared to the foreign knock-off sites. Either thank OP for pointing to this deal or move on.
  6. Sorry man I had never even heard of MOG til you posted this thread. How is it different than spotify?
  7. But the argument can be made that the reason he made it look easy, the reason he did it with "SWAG", the reason he was able to have a conversation was because if he messed up, he flipped upside down. To say he would have aced it without the tether is something we will never really know.
  8. The views were awesome. But I agree the tether ruined it. He made it, yes. But his mind last night was "if I make it, great. If I don't I look silly hanging upside down." Not being tethered makes it an infinitely more difficult mental challenge. With the tether, it's a cool ride at Six Flags.
  9. I haven't had a desire to go back home on years. But when EZC posted this on Facebook it made me wanna go home for a weekend. Btw if you've never seen the series "a town" "a team" "a dream" (which I know 99.9% of bills fans have seen) watch it. Now.
  10. Thanks to EndZoneCrew for the vid http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dh_rTZieXwxA%26feature%3Dyoutu.be&feature=youtu.be&v=h_rTZieXwxA&gl=US
  11. You saw him right? The answer to your question is yes, yes the guy who decides to be "different" by wearing spiked arm bands, wearing color contacts, and using eyeliner (like EVERY OTHER PERSON IN THAT WEIRD GENRE DOES WHILE TRYING TO BE "DIFFERENT") lives alone. Very alone. !@#$ing weirdo.
  12. Another $6 I'll never get back!
  13. I was going to post one article but I figured the google search would be even better. Here's an endless list of articles explaining why you shouldn't use a task killer. (mainly, for the first iterations of android it was helpful but now it can actually hurt your battery life) http://www.google.com/search?q=why+you+shouldn't+use+a+task+killer&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari
  14. I have a GPS app that I bought. It was $50 which seems insane for an app. Honestly some of the best money I've spent. I know droid has a FREE turn by turn gps(which I used before finally switching back to my beloved iPhone) but the reason I love the one I have is that is uses the phones GPS ONLY. It doesn't use the radios at all, which every other gps app I've used has, at least somewhat. So, good luck driving through WV. Anyway, the app also has automatic traffic updates and will say "there's traffic ahead in 2 miles. You can save 11 minutes with a different route. Would you like to do so?". I love that! Anyway, the app (of course) is a battery hog. So this tip of closing apps has helped because while it's in my car and I'm driving it's plugged in but just hitting the home button would leave it running in the background and chewed up my battery. This tip "kills" the app.
  15. To "shut it off" double click the home button. A row of all running apps will show at the bottom and you can scroll to the right to see more. To fully close, hold the icon til it shakes and click the little red circle on the corner. This is similar to the action of deleting an app from the home screen but all this does is stop it from running. Click the home button again to close the bottom drawer. Also, when that drawer is open you can swipe to the left once to get to your music controls and rotation lock. Swipe again to get to screen brightness and air play feature.
  16. Choose whichever response you'd like: 1) It's a 6 year old kid hopped up on pain meds. I've seen very intelligent people act like giant 2 year olds when under anesthesia. OR 2) 1994 called. They want the use of a statement followed by "...not!" back as a terrible attempt of humor/sarcasm.
  17. Wow. Overreact much? It's not an opinion that libraries are a dying institution.
  18. Further proving the definition of the word "some."
  19. Nope. Neither unlocked or rooted. I can explain the entire process but basically google released the full CDMA build a 4.0.4 a week ago (google around you can find it. All my links were on that phone). Google released it and I flashed it. Again took 5 hours. I could have done it in 20 minutes if I rooted the phone but chose not to as I knew I might get rid of it. Anyway, it was the official build. I will say it made the camera better. It also changes the power button to allow you to mute the phone. It sped up the screen rotation. It also made the multitask drawer faster. But by noon yesterday still needed the 2nd battery. Can't say enough how I will now know I will stick with iPhone for the foreseeable years to come. Link:
  20. Funny you posted this today. I upgraded to 4.0.4 two days ago. Took me about 5 hours but got it done It did nothing for battery life or signal. I am typing this from my iPhone 4s which I finally went back to and am SO happy I did. Carrying two batteries is unacceptable and I had to do that daily. The random switch from 3G to 4G sucked. Back in happy non-customizable world of iPhone. Making us wait for 6 months for 4.0.4 that fixed nothing was enough for me. Luckily the manager at Verizon took my 7 years of service and the fact that he agreed with me about the issues and switched me back for free.
  21. So I can buy a used PS3 and get the ticket for $200? Well, that beats the ever living crap outta the "streams". I have to get this!
  22. Is everyone who's picking robo RB missing the fact that he does NOT guarantee a 1st down? The OP put 2.49 for a reason. If it was 2.50 then every person who's ever watched football picks the RB. BUT 2.49 means you have to pass, or use another RB at some point. 2.49 yards on 4 attempts is .04 yards short of a 1st down.
