  1. Small college background (Florida Atlantic).  A UDFA in 2019 didn't make the team that signed him (KC).  He's bounced around a bit since then, most recently with Cleveland.  He's played in a handful of regular season games over the last three seasons.  He has nice size (6'1" or 6'2" depending on the source of  the data and right around 200 lbs.  I couldn't find any other measurables like 40 time.

  2. Hmmm, him, Dorsey or weapons?   Yes, though you might also include better protection from his offensive line.  Is there one of those four factors that is more important that the others?  If there is, it is probably Allen's newly developed willingness to look for a short passing option.  It's not the first time that lip service has been given to reading the defense from short to long rather than long to short,  It happened under Daboll too, but Allen seems to have fully embraced it now.

Just spitballing it...I would have thought they'd go over Sunday night or first thing Monday morning. More time to adjust for tme difference. Maybe they had no place to set up shop and practice Tues-Sat?

They could have started adjusting their times to wake up or go to bed on Monday.  They don't need to be in England to do that.

  4. I admit that I might watch an illegal stream if I could, but that does not mean if the option is denied to me, I will automatically shell out the bucks to watch over priced outlets and line NFL pockets.  Radio still works.  So it does not follow that if the sports industry can cut off the 28 billion dollar streaming industry they will get 28 billion more in revenue.

The Jags got there Friday. Since it is 5 hours of difference I guess they won't be fully recovered till tomorrow, if your rule is correct.

The Bills don't fly to London until later in the week. I think they want to have as normal of a practice week as possible.

Teams either try to get to London as early as possible or as late as possible, it seems. I don't think there is consensus on which approach is better.

What Buffalo can do is keep a schedule that is close to what they would do at home, continue to live as if they are in the Easter Time Zone or change by just a couple hours.  Start early in the week by suggesting team members get up and go to bed a couple hours earlier.    Then when they go to London, they can just shift a couple more hours and they'll be pretty well adjusted by game time.

How many days does it take to completely acclimate? Maybe the Jags don't have a great week of practice as their team deals with jetlag for a few days? Not sure.

The Jags played in London yesterday.  I'm sure they were there several days before that.  They will just stay in London.  The rule of thumb for jet lag is one day recovery time for every hour of change.  Jet lag will not be an issue for the Jags at all.  If Buffalo heads over today they should be pretty well recovered from Jet lag for the game.  Buffalo is technically the home team versus the Jags, but the Jags are far more familiar with playing in London than is Buffalo, albeit at a different stadium.  Basically, it's the leagues way of taking Buffalo's extra home game this season and turning it into an away game

Rapp better be dialled in. At least he is a more natural replacement for Poyer.

I do think it is a chance to bring Elam up. Have Lewis as your backup safety.

The one drawback with Rapp is his slower than average speed.  Given Miami's overall speed on offense, Rapp would have a very small margin for error.  If he makes even a little mistake, the receiver is probably making a big play.

All of the "Captain Obvious" statements apply in this game especially with the way Miami can score.

    1. Need to capitalize when the Bills get in the redzone with 7. 3 won't cut it this week.

    2. Win the turnover battle.

    3. Win on special teams. No short drives for the fins.

    4. Balanced on offense with the pass and run.

    5. Get pressure on Tua.

    6. Do a good job stopping the run and force them into 3rd and long.

    Just to name a few.

Some weeks you can get away without playing your best. This is not one of those weeks.

What you said, plus CBs can't line up 10 yards deep.  They need to disrupt receiver routes early.

Defense must maintain discipline at all times to limit big plays.

Keep penalties to a minimum, especially pre-snap penalties.

Buffalo's receivers all need to be sure handed.

The Miami game is not the game to try and figure out how to help Deonte Harty be effective.  What they've been doing hasn't worked.

    A better line

I agree.  This is the first year in several seasons that the Bills have what I would describe as an above average offensive line.  For years Buffalo running backs never had holes to hit in the middle of the line.  They coupled that with running backs who didn't have the speed to get outside.  I haven't watched, but I'm guessing that most of Moss's recent yardage has been the tackles.  He is tough but lacks speed and like Singletary needs holes inside to run through.
