  1. The main reason I want the Colts to win is so the boot kicking of Stroud can stop for a bit. So, of course, the Texans are bound to pull through.
  2. Think the only pair which would have made sense is Texans at Colts in the late afternoon slot, followed by Jags and Titans in primetime. Pure focus on the AFC South, three out of four teams after something and the fourth would at least be focusing on winning.
  3. Just realised that, ironically, from a 'security' point of view, the Bills would have been better off if the Dolphins had won last week. The Ravens would have had to win tonight to secure one seed and, if they had, the Dolphins would have probably played their back ups tomorrow. And, unless the Jags somehow lose, it wouldn't have changed the risk behind tomorrow's game that much at all. So let's take advantage of what the Ravens win last week did, and claim the two seed.
  4. Not if the Jags lose. Then it'd be Steelers at Bills IIRC.
  5. Unless Bills at Dolphins finishes as a tie. Then the Bills, on 10-6-1, will end up ahead of the Steelers as sixth seed. Bills win - second Bills tie - sixth Bills lose and Jags lose - seventh Bills lose and Jags win - out The Colts can't play for the tie tonight with a Steelers win so not even going to consider that as a possibility.
  6. If the Jags and the Bills both lose, the Bills will get in as seventh seed.
  7. Titans MAY still beat Jags. I thought early on that will probably be the Bills best chance to qualify for the play offs before Sunday night, with the Ravens resting a load.
  8. Oddly enough, they beat them by the same score as tonight - 17-10.
  9. "A hard fought road victory..." You mean, where their opponents laid down and had their bellies tickled? Hard fought?
  10. So will a miracle happen from the onside kick? I doubt it.
  11. If the Ravens wanted this they would be targeting the sidelines.
  12. He didn't. Pickett was injured; he switched out Trubisky. He's reliant on blue chip players on defense. The offense is pretty poor, but it works.
  13. The defense has been ok. The offense has done anything but 'play hard'.
  14. In soccer, I remember at the end of the season the team I support had nothing to play other. Against other sides with nothing to play for, he picked youngsters and reserves. But when playing teams involved in a relegation battle, he picked the strongest team, arguing it otherwise affects the integrity of the competition. I'll add, if McDermott was in Harbaugh's position, we'd expect him to do the same thing for the most part - maybe give the firsts a run out, but only for a maximum of a half. Perhaps it's something the NFL needs to consider, though it's hard to know what the answer is.
  15. Harris... Harris... Harris... he's the only guy on offense and they still can't stop him?
  16. I hope you're right. Them going one and done would be delicious.
  17. They are - when they care. They don't today. Pre-season is more important to them than this.
  18. Oh please don't look disappointed, Harbaugh. Like you give a damn.
  19. But potentially no Allen and no Burrow. Obviously injury plays a huge part in the latter but the former has throw/rushed for the most number of TDs this season.
  20. Nice but what's the point? The offense will just go run, run, incomplete pass, punt.
  21. As bad as I feel saying it, we may be grateful if the Bills win and Jags lose tomorrow.
  22. I don't think the Browns will get destroyed. I can see them beating the fourth seed then, at the very least, running the Ravens or Chiefs close.
  23. Well the Steelers defense looks a mess without Watt...
  24. That was embarrassing from the Ravens.
  25. Bills in if the Steelers lose. Edit: Or if this is a tie.
