I knew someone would suggest that. 😁

I have a Queen song in mind when it comes to Mac Jones.

No, he isn't.

I’m sure it’s been discussed so forgive the repeat question: who am I rooting for in Jets/Pats?
I'm rooting for Pats; takes them to 4-4 and Jets 5-3. Otherwise, whilst the Pats will be 3-5, the Jets will be 6-2.

Once again I'm here to watch Mac Jones cry - and get kicked in the nuts
Would much prefer a Pats win at this stage. And want Jones to keep Zappe out of the team.

Am I the only one who thinks Trevor Lawrence looks like a horse?
Some horses might make for better Quarterbacks.

I assume the checking all touchdowns within two minutes don't count false starts?

Would like to see Denver pull this out for the simple reason they won’t become sellers. I’d like for them to not give Kansas City two gift wins
I think they'll gift the Chiefs two victories whether they win here or not.

I swear Lawrence is going backwards from where he started last year.

I think Denver ends up winning this game; however, outside of KC, the rest of the AFC West looks far worse than most people had anticipated coming into the season....
I think the Raiders and the Chargers will click into gear.

That was possibly Wilson's best throw of the season.

What was that from Lawrence?! Utter stupidity.

@BuffaloBill - sorry for hijacking the thread slightly, but shouldn’t the Other Games thread open at 9.30AM for the Wembley game? It’s showing for me as opening at 12 noon, I presume that’s Eastern Time? ☺️

The question is, if we are looking to trade, who would be available with a deal we’d be interested in and improve us?

No idea where to put this but the soccer team I support in the U.K. has just announced a partnership with Brady’s wellness brand.
I guess that means the players will be going around deflating the footballs.
I mean, seriously?! Couldn’t they go with another NFL has been?

Go ahead and crucify me, but I’m rooting for Brady & the Bucs. A top AFC team against an NFC team ? I’ll go with the NFC team.
Agreed - though a dull 6-3 where both offenses splutter would be nice.- 1

I'm all for treating Ice well... but let's not go overboard. If Green Bay comes out looking like they have the last few games the Bills better destroy them, anything less only raises doubts.
If they DON'T come out looking like the last few games, there will be questions from the Bills side. The Packers look beaten up and confidence shot. We're coming off the bye with enough players rested and fit. Shouldn't be any excuses but... has anyone mentioned the Jags last year yet?

This year hasn’t been fun.😔
Agreed, it must be quite a shock. But any given Sunday - nothing can be taken for granted. And even with struggling teams, it's the hope that keeps people ticking over week to week.

you can’t stop the run vs we barely run
the matchup is a good one for the Packers D. No teams have a good matchup vs our D.
Except we used the running game more against the Chiefs. Have the horrible feeling we may put Morris on the inactive list for Moss.

For those in the UK, remember the clocks go back this weekend so, from Sunday onwards for the entire week, the games are starting an hour earlier than usual (as IIRC the clocks don't go back in the US until next week).
Early Sunday afternoon (1.30pm): Broncos 'at' Jaguars
Early Sunday evening (5pm): Patriots at Jets
Late Sunday evening (8.25pm): 49ers at Rams
Early Monday (12.20am): Packers at Bills
Early Tuesday (12.15am): Bengals at Browns
Early Friday (12.15am): Eagles at Texans

I think the issue with the likes of Zappe, Jones and Lawrence is they may have been 'world class' quarterbacks if we go back five to ten years, in the era when pocket passing was key. But defenses have adapted since then, and extra strength, sight, legs or a mixture of two or three is needed to elevate quarterback play above the mire.
