Josh played his levelbut not his best. Josh is compared to Mahomes, and I have to say Mohomes, despite a fumble, outplayed Josh tonight. Like I said in the game thread, going forward, this offense is going to be Josh and Cook. Cook has arrived, proved he can deal with the big boys the Ravens and Chiefs game. Then spend resources on D. Without having to chase points, this offense can is scoring about 30 points on the Chiefs. You'd like to say we should be able to hold them to 30, but we could not. We have to transform the D just like we have transformed the offense: get stout upfront.

Belichick believes Kelce is the Chiefs offensePoundingDog replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall I hope we turn it around tomorrow. On Nov. 17, the Bills RBs did squat, running or catching football. Maybe that's what Gruden is seeing - Chiefs have money guys on D-Line.

Belichick believes Kelce is the Chiefs offensePoundingDog replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall I'd pick the Chiefs too, even though I hope the Bills win. Road game. And Chiefs is the healthier team and probably better rested due to their bye. The style of both Bills and Chiefs Defense is all out, smaller guys playing big. You can see the Bills D at the end of the Ravens' game was gassed. The final Jackson TD play they had 3 backup DL on the field. This is my biggest fear tomorrow that if the offense cannot win up front consistently and make time consuming drives, our D would again be gassed by the 4th quarter.

Belichick believes Kelce is the Chiefs offensePoundingDog replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall I thought Special Team is where the Chiefs have a distinct advantage this year. We are 31th in punt return yardage allowed. and had the Rams game allowed a punt blocked for a TD, arguably lost the game on that play. We allowed a kickoff return for TD. And as recent as theplaoff game, a fake punt converted. Chiefs on the other hand, won a couple of game blocking field goals. Any one of those things happens Sunday, we are likely to lose.

Belichick believes Kelce is the Chiefs offensePoundingDog replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall Well Gruden Picks the Chiefs. He thinks the Chiefs D-Line will get it done.

Actually said he picked up something from watching Kelce to get to Gronk. On a side note, people kind of compared Kincaid to Kelce. Kincaid has a long, long, long way to go, and that is if he is on the right path.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at ChiefsPoundingDog replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall 3 Heavy weights in AFC, Chiefs, Bills , Ravens. Bills have to go thru two them. Bills lost to Ravens on the road by more than 2 score in regular season. Ravens came into Buffalo in the playoff looking like the better team and lost, barely. The Chiefs lost to Bills on the road by 2 scores in regular season. The Bills now have to go KC for AFC Championship. The Chiefs player were seething about earlier loss as reported, just like the Bills' players were last week preparing for the Ravens. Both teams have players back that were not present in the first game. I suspect the Bills may not be able to pass the ball as easily as they did last time, in which McDuffie had to switch from Shakir to Cooper after Cooper burned them. This time they will have Watson back, who played OK against the Texans, but I always suspect a player who missed the whole regular season about what condition he's in. I think the Bills will spend a lot of time analyzing how to improve their running attack as last time it was really bad. So likely more running success, less in downfield passes. Defensively, Mahomes has Hollywood Brown who looked to be good, but Pacheco looked lost a lot of explosiveness (who knows, he may get it all back this week). The Bills will have Milano. Since the Chiefs are at home, so they might be able to do more play changing wise to be a little better than the regular season game. All in all. I expect a one score tight game. Just like the Ravens game last Sunday, a little luck may decide the whole thing. I hope the Chiefs have used up all their luck during the regular season. Speaking of luck, I'll add McDermott may need to sit in Special Team room all week. The Chiefs ST is OUTSTANDING this season, won a couple of games directly for them. The Bills ST is down right ugly. We cannot afford any mistakes we have had so far this season - you name it, blocked punt, blocked field goal, allowing a punt fake to succeed, allowing a kickoff return for TD, etc.

9 blue chip players to win a SuperBowlPoundingDog replied to pennstate10's topic in The Stadium Wall I said before - can someone count the number of HoF players in the last 10, 20, 30 years on teams that made the superbowl? Two teams every year so it's not too hard. The Superbowl Champs have mostly likely 2+.
-
I hope not offending you, but I hate the argument of the bold part. Older guys remember guys like HoF Dan Marino, arguably the best pure passer in the NFL history, never won a superbowl in part is because defenses like the Bills at the time, schemed to make him throw, throw and throw. When teams know you are passing, they can unleash all kinds tricks to defend.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at ChiefsPoundingDog replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall I remember in that game, I saw numerous times Chiefs secondary players fly in making tackles, filling holes (kind of like the Bills asking their secondary players do). When you look at the snap count, Shakir (52), Samuel (44), Hollins (41), Cooper (37) were top WRs on the field. That's not a group good at blocking. The reason the Bills leaned heavy to Coleman and Hollins in the past, in large part, is due to their ability to block the secondary defenders. TE Kincaid didn't play who's not a great blocker but still better than his replacement.

John Harbaugh Presser After the Loss - I always respected himPoundingDog replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall Don't think KC is capable of that but if we are fortunate to pass them, we may revisit that with the Eagles run game.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at ChiefsPoundingDog replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall Take the Texans' game out. The bold part is the problem. I expect the Chiefs to come out better this Sunday.
