The puppy thing is getting misunderstood. Puppies are amazing, incredible, aggressive, reckless, overexcited. Josh always seems to arrive back at this place at some point. He is 100x better than he was two years ago. 50x better than last year. Is he ever going to be like a Joe Burrow? No. If you actually watch that entire video, Joe B just doesn't care about football enough to piss on the carpet.

It matters, the dude is just cold blooded as a result of indifference and he gets the ball out as fast as anybody not named Brady. All we do is talk about Mahomes, once in awhile I hear about Herbert. I think the real threat is in southern Ohio. That is what this thread is about.

I'm also sure as hell not saying I don't want Josh as my guy. He's our damn guy. Nobody on this forum even brings the Bengals up.

Can’t argue that.  They sure looked like they were playing with extra juice on Monday because they’re sick of being underrated.  They probably felt they should have been everyone’s Super Bowl pick in the preseason and not us. I doubted them and figured last year was a fluke.  They’re legit and Burrow and those receivers are going to be a problem.

  2. I was talking with my buddy and his wife after Taron got hurt about how as we get older it’s tougher watching these young guys get hurt.  Shortly after that  Damar goes down and I don’t think any of us said anything for a solid ten minutes after they showed the replay of him hitting the ground.

I’ve never cried watching a game before but once they showed his age and the fact he went to Pitt, which my little brother just graduated from last year I got hit like a ton of bricks.

Hearing Damar is responsive and surrounded by family has genuinely lifted my spirits.  He’s got a long road ahead of him it sounds like but he seems like the type of kid that’ll take that fight head on.

Thoughts are with him and his family.  Still don’t know how the team is going to mentally prepare for a game this week but it sounds like the news is just what the doctor ordered for everyone.  💪🇺🇸🍻🙏

    It doesn't matter.

Agree. I feel like anything I’ve learned from McDermott and the squad is they always deal with adversity well.  As long as Hamlin comes out of this relatively ok the team will use this as a rallying cry like they always do.  You could see it in coaches eyes last night this hit him hard just like it did the players.  Not many professional sports clubs can truly say they are like a family but this teams its 100% legit.   Go Bills

the ambulance remained for some time before leaving.

that said I don’t think the league stood any chance of making that call within minutes of him going down so I doubt that was a heavy consideration.

the bigger issue on the delay was simply that there is no reason to race public announcements. It sucked for viewers but sometimes that’s just life.

That’s why IMO his family being there was probably for the better.  I can’t imagine sitting at home watching my son on tv like that not knowing what’s going on.  Just a horrible scene all around.  Definitely puts it all in perspective.  Thoughts are with the Hamlin family.

It's been awhile since the last one, but I've been to a number of Jets/Bills games in New Jersey and never had a problem. Granted I was always with a Jets fan which tempered everything.

One time at MetLife I had an old time Jet fan (stranger) to my left. Bills were lining up for a punt and old-timer was losing his mind. Bills punted and as old timer predicted the  punt returner was out of position, sprinted up to catch the punt but fumbled. Respect for old timer. Fast forward. Last ditch effort Bills pass falls incomplete. Jets fans going wild. I yell: wait flag! (there was none)!  Old timer buys in for a second and when I smile and shake it off he gives me a punch to the arm. We both have a laugh, good times. Why folks treat these games like life and death is beyond me.

I was at a Bills/Pats game late 90's at Orchard Park. Had a jacket on over my jersey  After I finished up at the trough and turned around the next man up (big dude) pulled my jacket aside to see if it was a Pats jersey. Once he saw the #78 he gave me the nod. I always thought that was incredibly dickish. Didn't make me think he represented all Bills fans.

Went with Pops and my brothers to the game at MetLife last year.  Had an awesome time.  Most their fan’s left by halftime but the ones that stayed were surprisingly pleasant.  Really liked MetLife, first time I’ve sat in the club seats and now I couldn’t  do it any other way.

  6. It feels like since we lost Von Home field advantage in the playoffs is the only difference between this years team and last years. We need it imo.  That little extra juice the home crowd brings and a nice snowstorm for the afc championship would be pretty epic for the NFL too.   Let’s take care of Chicago first

Zay Jones moves on from being a punching bag joke in here.

    Next up, Peterman?

Lol let’s not get crazy now.  That’s a made for TV movie if peterman becomes a quality starter.  It would be like that Kurt Warner movie mixed with Simple Jack and of mice and men.

Now that I think about it I’d watch the ***** out of that movie.  Let’s go Nate Peterman!

Tre got beat a couple times deep pretty bad. Hill and Waddle toasted him deep. It’s interesting seeing teams target White. That’s 2 straight games he’s been getting targeted often. Teams must not believe he’s back yet. He normally is targeted very little.

It’s a smart move on their part.  See how confident he is in that knee in cold weather.  He’s had his moments where he looks like the Tre of old and then he’s been burnt pretty bad too. Hopefully in three more games his consistency gets back to normal.
