Some contenders suffered some worse luck than us.  I ain’t sad about it.  Just keep the bad kick away from us and win some games.

We can make a run.  Next week will tell us how serious of a team we are

Yup, we can definitely make a run.

With the list of QBs I mentioned, even with our schedule, we have as good of a shot as anyone. We most likely have even a better shot than many of those teams simply because we have JA.

    Rasul Douglas.

Garrett Wilson is a threat. He'll be playing a bit slowed potentially by a bum elbow. It's Douglas's chance to lock down the only real receiving threat the Jets have. Make them 1 dimensional and let the run D feast. Bills go up a bit early and now it's Zach Wilson pressed into making plays. This is the way.

    Congrats on picking Douglas.

    He was a monster!

  3. Yes, I know Zach Wilson is 2-1 (yuck!) against the Bills in his career but he doesn't pose a threat. He's won because of his defense and run game.

So, the only real chance I see of the Jets getting a win is through their run game. If it doesn't get going, our D should be able to hold them to either one TD or possibly even extend the Jets streak of not getting a TD.

So, I'm going with Linval Joseph. These games are the reason we signed him since DaQuan Jones went down. Look for him to be a force and really disrupt the Jets running game. He'll be the reason that the Jets get some negative run plays which will make it harder for the Jets to sustain drives.

  4. I know we need to play better and the coaches need to get the best out of the players they have, but this is pretty telling to our struggles.

Look at the difference between us, the Dolphins, the Chiefs and the Bengals.

Hopefully we can stick around and get a couple/few players back and have a good shot come playoff time.

  5. With our secondary banged up and another two starters out for this game, someone on our DL has to step up to get the Broncos offense off.

Look for that person to be Von Miller as he starts to return to form. Russ is susceptible to being sacked so look for Von to get two sacks, one of them being a strip sack. He’ll also bring a few pressures that’ll make Russ force a few throws that’ll go incomplete on a couple critical third downs.

  6. "Being here was not a mistake. It was not by chance. It was manufactured," the quarterback told 13WHAM Newsin 2020. “As little as I could remember, driving to school with my dad and he would take his cellphone and pretend to interview me like I had just won the Super Bowl."

When Josh was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2018, Joel recorded a personal message to his son. “I know you’re going to do some amazing things, and your mom and dad, we’re 100% behind you,” Joel said. “I’m so proud of you. Love you son.”

LaVonne also said, “We never had anticipated this happening to Josh this quickly. We always had dreams and hopes that he would someday get there, but this has just been kind of a crazy ride.”

  7. This game was a little tougher than normal for me to pick.

I’m going with Micah Hyde. The Bengals’ pass catchers will get their yards but we can’t give up many big plays. Look for Hyde to take away the deep ball by playing good coverage as well as take away some potential chunk plays by sound tackling. Look for him to also have a game changing turnover, whether an INT or a FF.

    Nice pick, bro.

Sometimes it seems like you have a little more nerves against a team, but this week, your posts have exuded lots of confidence as far as a Bills victory goes.

Just a gut feeling? Or, do you see something you like in this matchup?

Great team, and they could absolutely beat us on Sunday.

But what's the deal?  Reading this board, we seem to have little to no chance.  If I just went by the posts here, I'd think Cincy was the top team in the league, and unstoppable.

The Bills have lost as many games as the Bengals.  Our losses were all close. Basically down to a play or 2.  The Bengals have been absolutely blown out - twice. Against the Browns and Titans; not exactly world beaters.

"Burrow's calf was hurt" seems to be the main excuse.  Kind of like JA's UCL the entire 2nd half of the 2022 season, or his shoulder much of this season.  Excuses are just that.  That team has gotten blown out - twice.

This is as even a match of good teams as there is in the NFL.  Let's take a break on the doom talk.  Their struggles have been very similar to ours this year.  This should be a great game.

I agree, bro. Like you, I'm not saying the Bengals can't win, but we have a great chance to win. And, when we've played our best this year, our best looks way better than their best. And, they've been inconsistent too just like we have.

It's obviously not the end all but the ESPN matchup predictor has us winning 66.9% of the time to the Bengals' 32.8% of the time.

  11. Huge game!

With the Chiefs losing today and them playing the Dolphins next week, with a win, the Bills are right back in the mix.

If the point spread holds and the Bills stay the underdog, it’s pretty incredible that we went 27 straight games favored especially with our first place schedule over the past couple years.

Let’s go Buffalo. Get the W and be right back towards the top where you belong.

Cincy will have a sense of urgency regardless of whether they win or not. If they win they will still need to keep up with the three teams in their division that are in front of them that are currently 1-2 games ahead and will at best be even of 1 game ahead. If they lose they will be desperate to get back to .500. The urgency of the Bengals is high in either scenario. I am rooting for the Bengals to lose, a loss eats away at a teams confidence a win helps you gain confidence. You can see it with the Bills the last few weeks. After the Jags lost they played tight against a Giants team they should have been able to win comfortably against. That led to a tight performance against the Pats. The Bills played more confidently against the Bucs and got away with a win that was a bit tighter than it should have been.

I think the Bills getting the "mini-bye" desperately need the few extra days rest. Josh's shoulder, Ed's toe, Morris's ankle, Von's long return from the ACL, and all the other dings that caused guys like Groot, Shaq and others to miss a game or be limited in practice get the chance to heal up a bit.

Cincy has not played well most of the season, the Jets and Broncos home are very winnable games the only game that's tough is @ Philly. If the Bills can pull a minor upset against Philly 4-0 is legit possible. I would be fine with 3-1 as that puts the team at 8-4 going into the bye but if the Bills continue to get Shakir and Kincaid going on offense while maybe adding a reinforcement or two on defense via trade I don't see why 4-0 is that daunting. Get the win at Cincy and you can then see 4-0 being really a legit possiblity.

I totally understand what you mean by it being a mild upset if we beat the Eagles. That said, the ESPN analytics matchup predictor surprisingly has us winning 58% of the time vs the Eagles winning a little under 42% of the time.
