Leslie is a good coach though. He'd be a good hire for Miami. And their personnel is pretty transferrable for the most part.
He would be a better choice than Fangio, one of the most over rated coaches in the NFL. Sadly for Frazier, I suspect this is not a serious effort by Miami. One part competitive intelligence gathering, and one part satisfaction of rules.

Floyd was a great pick up by Beane and he was a key player for the D through 2/3 of the season or so. He had 1 sack in his last 6 games, none in the postseason. (So 1 in 8) That disappearance is concerning if looking at him for a bigger contract.

I don't think the defense played well. That was not my argument. I think it was mainly Kansas City taking advantage of where we were down to backups.
Yes. What’s more, I think McD knew that was going to be a problem given the coaching and QB he was facing. Hence the strategy to limit Chiefs possessions. This was correct in my opinion. Did you really want to see KC have the ball 3 or 4 more times? Blowout City. I do not believe the Bills offense as constructed and down Davis as well ever had a chance to keep up with a scoring track meet with KC. Two weeks ago it might have been different with much more confidence in D.

I'm all in favor of this! But you don't do it that way. You don't tell McDermott "hey we might fire you in a few weeks, but if we don't find anyone better, we'll keep you!"
Imagine saying that to your current girlfriend.
What Pegula should be doing, perhaps with Beane's help depending on how he wants to do it, is to be sniffing around on the quiet, and see if there is genuine interest in the Bills on the part of the candidate.
Get BB down to Pegula's 10,000 sq.ft. palace in Boca and wine and dine him for a day or 2....and see if him coming to Buffalo could be a real thing.
If not, BB gets in some fishing down here and hangs out in a glorious house, though he probably has one of his own!
LOL
Not sure how bright you are, but Ty Dunne is most certainly not a "failed journalist."
In fact, he enjoys quite an excellent reputation around the NFL inner circle.
I guess he wrote some bad things about your HC so now you've decided he is a failed journalist.
Writing it doesn't make it so!
Hell of a way to make a point, calling someone stupid. How old are you?
Ty Dunne has been fired by the Buffalo News, fired by Bleacher Report, and now peddles a third rate blog. He has no credentials with any NFL team or media organization. He is the definition of failed journalist. For what it is worth, I had no respect for him before his McDermott screed. Excellent reputation in “NFL Circles” ? Do tell.

Miami is going to find themselves in trouble rather quick. They have huge cap hits with guys like Hill, Ramsey, Chubb, and Xavien Howard. Then Chubb likely won't even play next year due to how late the ACL tear happened. Read somewhere that Terron Armstead might be retiring, which would trigger an even larger cap hit as well as leave a hole on their OL. Jaylen Waddle and Jaelen Phillips are entering the 4th years of their deal. Phillips is also coming off an achilles tear he just had repaired in late November. Their list of FA's is long, including Christian Wilkins who will likely chase the $$$ elsewhere. Top it off with the fact their GM is about to sign Tua to a LT, big $$$ contract. Then they just can't seem to get things right on the defensive side of the ball. I almost pity the Fish fans.
Spend 5 minutes over at Fin Heaven or whatever they call their fan message board and you will lose all inclination for pity and only loathing will remain.

Yes, I am quite sure the self made billionaire will take his advice in a Bills Coach from a failed journalist. Makes perfect sense.

Dude always wears a hoodie or something low key. So much cooler than the QBs who try too hard on the fashion thing.
The Fox broadcast just showed Mahomes walking into the stadium all decked out in his custom suit and all the trimmings. (Ugly suit too)

He did. I think sometimes we get caught up in the number of concussions without remembering that all concussions are not equal in severity, and everyone doesn’t react the same way to a concussion. It’s entirely possible that Taron’s symptoms were very mild and this was done out of an abundance of caution.
Anyway, it’s great that he is feeling good and will be out there.
The fact that he had already progressed to the stage of a limited practice participant by Wednesday indicates that this was a minor concussion if one at all. Likely a very conservative diagnosis and I am not surprised he is back.

I am the kind that generally stays away so as not to raise my stress level to heart attack/stroke alert status.

Jackson gets erratic when he is pressured. That has not changed in his game.

I'm split on the result I want here, should the Bills win tomorrow. Pressure will be off going to the Ravens, but playing against a young team with nothing to lose? Hmm.
Always better to be at home.

If Houston continues to play man coverage without a spy on Lamar, Jackson will have 200:yards rushing.

I'm probably too confident right now. I'll actually be shocked if KC beats us.
We're better, I think last year's Cincy debacle is still fresh on the players' minds, and we just ran through the toughest part of our schedule with every game being a must-win to get this opportunity.
I don't think the game will be that close. I see a statement game, not unlike the Pats playoff game. A "changing of the guard"-type of game.
I agree. The Bills should actually spank this team pretty well, if they hold mistakes to a minimum. As long as they do not beat themselves, KC cannot win this game.

I'm missing something here. I thought that Taron's availability status would be determined at 6 AM and that, naturally, we would know pretty much right away; go, or no go. Any info yet?🤔

No mention of a 36 hour on the NFL web site. I have neve heard of that before, other than a posting in another thread.

Taron isn't playing - he didn't clear today yet and is due at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow. Rule is 36 hours before gametime or listed OUT.
Do you have a reference for that 36 hour rule? I have not heard that before. There is no mention of that in this NFL resource. Thanks.

A few of the Bills have gone out there to implore the crowd to be as crazy and loud as possible. They've made reference to how tough it was during previous playoff games in Arrowhead to hear the snap counts and audibles. So I think they're trying to get the fans riled up. The home noise is obviously a really big deal. I haven't heard any slander towards the Chiefs. Mostly, that they are the champs until someone beats them....blah blah blah
That's what Michael Irvin said this morning. He picked the Bills in a close game, but he said it's Armageddon in Buffalo....and if the Bills can't beat this version of Kansas City, they need to tear it all down and try something else.
Irvin is a nit wit so I would not put too much stock in his opinions, whatever they might be.

I believe his idiotic fake slide take was born out of frustration and sadness as he was realizing KC were now going on the road to face Allen instead at home to play a rookie. He was obviously upset and feeling scared and lonely and lashed out, seeing your season end before it actually happens must be traumatic.
Yeah, well f… him.

The 4th quarter unnecessary roughness penalty on the Steeelers.
Look, im glad the bills won, and any penalty the Bills get in their favor, I feel is great, after 17 years of us seeing other teams benefit from bad calls. But the NFL needs to really evaluate whats considered a late hit on a QB slide. I really dont think he was hit late on that. I think as Allen starts to slide, the defender has pretty much already left his feet. Allen is still sliding as he gets hit, showing how "not late" it was.
What do you guys think? Not just thinking about it from the Bills point of view, but football in general.
I do not agree. The Pitt player had plenty of time to avoid that hit. Instead, he launched himself at Allen and tried to take his head off with a forearm. I thought it was one of the cleanest examples of a late/unnecessary hit on a defenseless player that I have seen. Just because he missed the head shot does not make it less egregious.

And so the legend of Leonard Fournette on the Bills comes to a tragic end. Apparently the Bills coaches trusted their own judgement of what they were seeing day after day over that of the fans.

I am starting to feel like some others have already felt about the league unfortunately. You can't convince me the league is not pushing for a Tay Tay, Mahomes, Kelce SB championship, again. I expect the flags to fly against Buffalo.
I am pretty sure the NFL would love to have the Taylor Swift boost extend right into the Super Bowl. Why wouldn’t they? I am even more sure there is no deep seated conspiracy at the league office and with the officials to throw the game to KC. Absolutely insane.

While they are at it they should extend Mikey baby, and guarantee 10 years of late season collapses.
