Not sure how I feel about this. It might get us over the hump but I don't want to be the Rams down the road.
What’s there to feel? I would cut off my right ball with a butter knife and not have another winning record for a decade for a SB. 57+ years without a Stanley cup or a football championship is fukking enough.

I want Hopkins as much as anybody, BUT, maybe even more of importance here is, by apparently being interested in Hopkins, it shows Beane is not satisfied with the WR room. If not Hopkins, maybe another WR? Jeudy, OBJ, etc.

Draft your starting RT at #27

-
And sign Bobby Wagner then draft BPA (TE, DL, OT….)

If Oliver is part of the trade for DHOP (say Oliver and a 5th) that’s almost 11M off of our cap. ARI retains some money, and we restructure dhops contract and it could have little to no impact on the cap

There’s no way we moved that money around to sign a bunch of STs guys that are not even upgrades. We must have something coming here one way or another. Maybe it’s a trade I’m not sure. But Beane is too good for this to be the offseason. We must have a Big WR or RB move coming here soon.
You make too much sense - hope you’re right. At this point we prob can get a big back on the cheap and suitors for OBJ are dwindling.
fournette
OBJ
Wagner
and we’d all be thrilled - pretty sure we could fit all under the cap with probably only one more restructure??

Projected to go which rounds?

Curious who is going to be our MLB. It kind of goes against Beane’s philosophy so far to draft a MLB and pencil them in as day 1 starter. I would expect at least some kind of vet signing there.
Except this is the exact thing that happened with Edmunds 4 or 5 years ago

Agreed. Williams got 3 for 12 million and scored 17 TDs
He also averaged only 4.1 YPC. the 17 TDS was an anomaly, looks at his other years

I don’t get why Detroit wouldn’t bring him back for that. Swift is far from reliableCuz they signe Montgomery whom is better

The average golfer is old and completely unathletic so yes he may be better than average but that's not saying much. Golf is fine for us normal Joe's but if I was a world class athlete at something I would probably not enjoy being bad or average at something else that a normal guy down the street could beat me at
Do you know golf at all, cuz you're coming off as golf illiterate. Josh has a 9 handicap which would put him in the top 5-10% of golfers. In what world is top 5-10% average.

I’ve spoken with numerous fans of football, many teams….
Common consensus is Allen is an afterthought. Somewhere between Rivers and Newton.
Mahommes is new Brady, Burrow is new Manning….
so far it all holds up.
sucks we could’ve had that guy
are you like 12? Give me my 30 seconds back I wasted on this

I mean what benefit does that have. If anything it gets the team emotional in the wrong way. They came out like they had no energy...
Hamlin leading charge. Sure. Pumps the crowd. Hamlin in locker room served no purpose but to remind everyone of what can happen out there. Bad move imo
stop overthinking

Bills Mafia. There was a loud Who Dey chant in our stadium.
We had a crowd ready to go crazy Sunday and we got absolutely nothing to cheer for. Cinci had about 3k fans. It’s been a year beyond belief and I get that. But giving absolutely nothing to the best fan base in the world
across any sport is inexcusable

Was talking amongst a bunch of people and we all think with the Sabres youth, The chances of a cup happening before an Lombardi are likely. Sabres have Dahlin, Bills have Allen. McDermott retreats under pressure in the playoffs, and Frazier is a coward
Granato - who knows?
thoughts?
i’d die for either But hurting for Allen badly right now

I'm guessing this game takes Dorsey and Frazier off of teams HC want lists.
And that’s an unfortunate thing for Buffalo

McDermott has brought a lot of regular season success to Buffalo, something we hadn’t had in a long time. He’s also a man of high character
in saying that I will Never forgive him for the 13 second coaching debacle last year.
todays performance in all aspects, including coaching was inexcusable and disgusting.
It can be argued that they owe us fans nothing. I say we deserved better in both cases

Our first bad, non-competitive game of the year.
Bad timing for that.
But "thank you" Josh and all, with all the adversity this year, it's amazing you had 14 wins. Much to build on, and some things to fix.
When is the draft?
I’m not here for morale victories.

I've been trying not to get to pumped up for this game because then the let down is worse if we lose. On the other hand I want to soak it all in after having lived through the drought. I just want to stay level-headed understanding that we're playing a very good football team. The more I read though and the closer it gets I can feel my excitement building. I think, for me, the worst part about losing in the playoffs is knowing that it's over. No more Bills football. No more highlights. No more coach/player interviews and funny behind the scenes clips for several months. I just don't want that to be over yet so God I hope they win.
we’re not losing- 3

Gabe's tied at 15th this year in TD receptions with Tyreek Hill, Tee Higgins and Devonta Smith.
He's around 30th yards, in the Cortland Sutton, Mark Andrews neck of the woods...
What metrics are you using to determining what constitutes a good #2?
I think he needs to catch 10-15% more of his passes, which amounts to about 1 more catch per game to have a respectable catch %.
He was targeted 83 times this year. How many targets should a #2 have?
Gabe's TDs and yardage are fine, his catch % needs to get better. It's around 56% this year - add 1/2 catch a game it goes to a respectable 65% with yards nearing 1,000

Buffalo will win this week:
(1) we're at home, huge advantage
(2) Cinci Oline is a mess
(3) Cinco Dline is average, as are their LBs, their secondary is poor. (Eli Apple is their top CB - enough said.
(4) If this isn't the year fate-wise, not sure when it ever will be? Feels like the year New Orleans won the Superbowl
(5) Got a feeling a star will be born, thinking James Cook
(6) We will win if we don't beat ourselves. Our o-line has been good except Brown has been atrocious. I give him help all game by chipping with a TE or RB

Stat that is interedting
joe Burrow is 4-8 when sacked 4 or more times in a game
pin the ears back boys - go get him front 4
Calling Epenesa and Rousseau who were MIA vs MIA. Would be nice if they showed up this week.
I'm not a defensive coordinator but if I was I
(1) wouldn't blitz at and if I di I'd drop a lineman into coverage
(2) would do a lot of stunting - they have 4 scrubs on the line out of 5, and the one starter (the center( is average at best). Confuse the hell out of them
(3) would EMPHASIZE getting you hands up when Burrow's throwing - a tipped ball INT could go a long way in this game

That’s a nice trip. I got a pair of tix in the 100 level early yesterday for $280/ea. fees added another $100+ to the final total. The other prices i saw were quite a bit more in that moment so i jumped on them. we’re making the 8 hour drive for this huge game. I wasn’t going to but it was like there was a “calling” in my head to get tix and come up.lol
I came up for a game in November and sat in Sec. 240. Not all the 200 sections have radiant heat. only the sections under the overhang have it. 240 does not, you are exposed to the elements as are the other similar 200 level sections.
Mine is the same exact situation - I was going to day trade tickets and maybe wait all the way up to Saturday night to buy, but found 4 in the $100 level for $295each and said screw it - fair deal

So I just decided to make the trip from SLC to Buff this weekend for Cincy. Been a fan for over 30 years but it will be my first home game! Coming out solo and there's some decent priced re-sale single tickets on TM in sections 243, 240, 223. Any advice for a first timer on those seat locations? I was hoping for 100 level but those are still above $300. Looking to stay below $250. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
awesome!! I'm flying in from NYC, my son is flyting in from NC and my brother is driving down from Toronto. Simply have to be in Buffalo this weekend. BUF/ANA hockey Saturday and of course THE GAME on Sunday
