  1. It looks like JP isn't going anywhere either. Cut/Trade him you just added $2 million to his cap number.
  2. Before everyone rips the guy here's the real reason's he did it and I can't blame him. People on this site can be pretty cold sometimes. Holland was contacted by the Texans to interview for their staff on the same day he accepted the position with the Bills. It was a move based on personal reasons, said Holland. "It's an opportunity for me to go back home and be close to my family," Holland said by phone from Houston. "I grew up in the Houston area. My wife grew up in Texas. My parents are getting older. My wife's mom is getting older, and it's a rare chance for us to go home. "My mom is not in the greatest health, and my dad has had two heart bypass surgeries. I have seven other brothers and sisters in the Houston area, and our kids can get the chance to know their cousins."
  3. Here's a direct link to the article. http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/p.../601290335/1021
  4. It's a smart thing on Marv's part. We have JP & KH on the roster. Due to the salary cap you can't cut or trade JP, it'll cost more to do so than keep him on the roster. The Jets are very high on this kid but they don't want to draft him with #4, we might be able to force them to draft him with #4 if they want him by saying we like him so we may take him at #8. The Bills did this in the past when Marv was the head coach and it worked then and hopefully it'll work again.
  5. Well according to Clumpy's figures if you cut/trade JP it would cost the team more to cut/trade him than to keep him on the roster and learn. $1.617 Million to keep vs $3.696 to cut/trade. I just can't believe people want to give up on a QB after 1 year as a starter. You can study film & practice all you want but until you get put on the field it does you no good. All I'm saying is give the kid a chance, even if it's a the second string QB. If the team gave up on players after the first year as a started Eric Moulds wouldn't be on the team. Here's a link to Clumpy's cap page which is where I got the figures. http://www.billszone.com/mtlog/archives/20...ry_cap_page.php
  6. PS is tomorrow after 4 PM Eastern I believe. I know tomorrow is right not sure about the time.
  7. I found this in an article about cut down day Buffalo entered the game with 67 players on its roster and must reduce it to 53 before the final cut-down deadline of Saturday at 4:00 p.m. ET. http://buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=3348
