How long does it take to run a F*ing play!?!?!?! Seriously. Why not just let the Raiders watch the replay on the jumbotron. First the Ref gives them more time, then the Bills take the huddle again. What a joke. Same ole Bills

Oh how I love to be wrong.....James Hardy.
Life is good
-
Just have that feeling....
-
Everyone had the TE's going in the third. 2 are already gone and both teams traded up to get them. I hope we can salvage something...
-
Not a single WR taken in the first round.....
-
wow, they traded up for a TE? That guy looks more like a RB. Can he even block?
-
The Jets just traded back into the first for a 2nd and 4th. That's a good deal for the Jets in my opinion. I'm not saying that we need to do this, but if that was what we decided to do for a Devin Thomas, I'm good with it.
-
We are now at pick 25 and NONE of the WR's are off the board. Many teams who need a WR have also passed. There is no way that all the GM's are collectively dumb. Something's gotta be up.
Keep the faith
-
yeah a lot of trades, but the value people are getting is not all that great
-
I already created a thread like that.
Maybe I'm not being clear. I'm talking about a whole other mini-forum. Like "Off the Wall". When you go into that, you can have mulitiple threads within.
Your draft thread, I think would get confusing. There are so many things to talk about, that all of it being in one thread would be hard to follow. A separate mini-forum would allow for a trade thread, a bills thread (or any other team for that matter), etc.
Make sense?
-
With all of the different discussions that can be had: teams, trades, mishaps, ets....would it be possible to make a temporary mini-forum. The same way you have the "off the wall." I thini it would be easier to navigate and their could be more specific conversations.

Johnson was offered a multi-year deal by the Bills and turned it down.
I hadn't read that yet. That's a good read and makes sense. But almost makes me feel better cause I don't want another McGahee proclaiming himself worthy of things he's never proven. I think he made a big mistake though choosing San Fran as the place to show what he's made of for one year. I'd be curious to know what money Buffalo offered. If it was 4-5 million a year and he still balked, then he's a fricked idiot.

I know it's easy for fans to look at size and speed, and then assume that people will bolster our team's effectiveness. I admit, I was really hoping that we would have gotten Bryant Johnson just cause of when he was drafted, his size, and the fact that he pry never got a chance to shine in Arizona behind the big 2. However, as Johnson signed, and now Hacket, I really think that these guys would have been huge disappointments.
Johnson signed only a one year deal for 2 million and Hackett signed a two year deal for only 3.5 million. This is total chump change. We know that the front office has pegged WR as a need, they have told us as much. No matter who we take in the draft, we will pay them more that those two got. So, I think we have to assume that there was just something wrong with these guys. And hey, if you don't have faith in that, then why didn't any of the other 30 teams jump all over these guys? I mean, from a outside standpoint, you would look at these guys and they would scream solid number 2 at you. How many teams really have that?
Maybe this will all blow up in our face, but I truly believe that there are reasons behind this and it will all work out in the end

I don't know what's the fair market, but I definitely would have given up a 2nd for him
-
Now this is a guy who was a number 1, got cut cause of money, and played one year in an offense that no one could have looked good in. Personally, I think this would be a great acquisition.
I'm talking about the WR Darrell Jackson, formerly of Seattle..
-
the same we we did last year and gave it up to them in the last quarter. maybe, hopefully, I am wrong. but this just feels the same as every other year. i never feel confident in our coaches or our players. I just want to have that feeling of knowing that when our Qb or Rb has the ball, something positive is going to happen. Cause as it is now, it feels more like a bonus rather than an expectation. If you can honestly tell me that you had total confidence in our offense or coaches stepping it up when the game was tied, then you are a better man that I
-
that's just crap. I'm tired for looking positives in our losses. it's always close. we always show something to be positive about going forward. and then the bills always break our hearts
-
The moment the Patriots scored to make the game 17-14, I had the same feeling in my stomach as last year...how are we going to lose it this time? There was just no doubt that we would lose. I'm sorry, I understand that we turned over a lot of the roster, but this is still the same ole Bills.
We talk about the positives going forward. Yeah, JP looked better. The D-line made some good plays. But the end result is still the same as it has been for the last 5 years. I'm tired of us getting better. If we were really getting better each of the last 5 years, then we'd be second year superbowl champs by now.
Maybe I'm just frusturated. I don't blame the refs. They may have been really tight calls, but they were still technically the right call. The bills as a team lost this game. They blow themselves out in the first half and have nothing left. Say what you want about whoever, but when you can't score a single point in the second half, what do you expect to happen?
This year will be no different than last year. We need to stop trying to bring back the people who showed signs of talent here and there, and straight up get talent. While I hate teams like the Patriots, I admire their cut-throat mentality with players.
I am tired of being mediocre.
-
Usually, there is someone sticking up for the Bills. Personally, I am not one of them. I completely agree that, if this was who we wanted, we could have traded and still got him.
I hate this pick, all the eagerness about this draft is gone. I'm not saying we won't get good people later, but i just don't really care right now.
-
end the qb debate right now and take the best college player of the last 3 years!!!
-
sorry, i meant the bengals game that was considered an upset.
quick post, wasn't thinking...
-
I know that it accomplishes nothing and includes rooting against the bills, but what if they lost that game to the Bengals at the end of last season and were picking 4th this year? Would you still want them to trade the pick or take one of the top prospects?
Personally, I would still want to trade the pick. I just don't see any one person changing our team and the potential of a rookie being a bust is higher than them earning the probowl money you would pay them. Plus, think of the great picks we would pry get offered to us in trade.
Once again, nothing we can do about it now, but something fun to think about than the reality that we are all beating ourselves up over.
-
personally, until i see an offensive scheme that works well with a 50/50 run/pass mentality with a qb, i would not want a running qb. People always say that Elway and Young were running qb's and yes they were, but always as a last resort.
So Young, if he were there and Losman were gone, I would not want him.
-
I like the post, you make some very good points and I agree with the draft prospects, I have to go the other way in the Leinhart comment, while I think he is very talented, it would be a waste of a pick. We should trade away unless we can get a Williams, Davis or a Ferguson -anyone else get to the back of the bus. Good post man.GO BILLS!
I'm not saying that i'm sold on someone like Leinhert either, but I think that people would question our QB situation less if we had someone like him in there. Even though Losman was a first round pick, he was taken late and reserved to back-up duty. Leinhert would pry be started from day one and be unquestioned in that role. So, just for the sake of ending any kind of controversy, I would not mind if that happened.

This game is entirely Jauron's fault. I can't remember the last time i've seen a team collectively shut down like this. Just embarrassing fundamentals and will to win. A pure joke. Knowing that we are capable of this does not make me feel optimistic about playing games that matter.
