This is crazy, 50 TDs ?? How many 50 TD seasons have there ever been ? People in this thread saying there’s been no stand out QB season this year, Allen is going to end up 45+ TDs, I’m surprised how many people think that’s a ho hum season lol

division title and 45+ TDs and that won’t be enough to beat a dude with 20 less TDs ? He’s gonna need to hit 50 TDs ? That’s crazy in IMHO.

He’s gonna have 45 TDs snd 4500 pass yards and doesn’t seem to be the the top three with any of the media heads…

Just had the NWS site up, so I plugged in Orchard Park.

"Sunday: A chance of showers after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. West wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%"

72 hours out, so it'll change a little - but not much.  Start to lean on the run game in the second half.

Throw it all over the yard from 12 personnel first half, then run wild out of the same sets in the second.

  3. Belichick always sounds wistful talking about Josh. He knows that a QB reaching the heights Josh reached since 2020 is the X factor that separates .500 from championship potential. And he knows he had it for 20 years but not anymore.

Very interested to see Brady, Allen and the passing offense against NE. We should have no issues (on paper) besting them through the air.

However; I remain extremely skeptical of the scheme, execution and personnel usage we’ve seen from the passing offense.

This is just one of the many curious pieces of their scheme and play selection I question. We’ve seen a variation of this play since the eagles game, and it just does not get the job done. Diggs is not the prototype WR who is draw up this play for and Allen can never seem to get him the ball in a productive manor. This play can be deadly depending on the coverage and how dedicated the defense is to stacking the box (I especially like the options off the screen to open up the passing game down field *davis scored on this play earlier this yea*)

I still just question their ability to get it down, within structure, when they need a win through the air and can’t rely on Allen to be Superman.

I would say Josh can’t throw quick screens but the WR screen used to work well with John Brown. He had that sudden burst which made it work.

Here's what NFL.com says about Josh: "Sure, he leads the NFL in turnovers (18), but with plus-1,000 odds at BetMGM, Allen might be the most sensible bet in the field for league MVP. On Saturday, Allen became the first player in NFL history to post four straight seasons of 40-plus touchdowns. He had two rushing scores and one passing touchdown. If he leads Buffalo to the playoffs, no one wants to play this team."

But, the thing is he doesn't actually lead the NFL in turnovers. Lawrence and Howell both have 19. Even the NFL's own website is falling for the Josh turnover narrative. COME ON!

  6. From NFL.com:

"The Ravens’ sixth-year quarterback is playing the way he did when he won the 2019 MVP award. That season, Jackson passed for 3,127 yards, rushed for 1,206 yards and totaled 43 touchdowns. This year, he has 3,357 passing yards, 787 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns. On Monday night, he led Baltimore to points on seven straight drives while leading the team in passing and rushing. He’s not only the MVP of the top team in these power rankings, but he may have captured the league award Monday night."

SMH... in what world is mediocre passing yards, 2/3 the rushing yards and just over HALF the touchdowns the same season as 2019??

Sometimes media groupthink is truly confusing.

    Allen's stats dwarf Lamar's.
