  1. Wow. This gave me a lot of emotions. It's easy to forget with all the crazy stuff that has happened just how much success the Bills have had, how many good times.

I moved to Germany in 2019, just in time for this run, and the Bills have been giving me so much life and connection to home since that year.

Gabe Davis has been such a huge part of their success. This wasn't his best season; but he has been a great player and a clutch player for us.

Gabe, I wish you well whether you come back to the Bills or go elsewhere. You deserve all of this and I am happy you will set up your family for life.

    THANK YOU.

PS just one thing, please don't go to KC.

The award goes to the QB with a #1 seed. This isn’t hard to figure out. What happens in previous seasons or the playoffs means nothing. It’s not a conspiracy and there isn’t a “narrative.”

    2013 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Manning)
    2014 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Rodgers)
    2015 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Newton)
    2016 MVP  –  QB/#2 Seed (Ryan)
    2017 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Brady)
    2018 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Mahomes)
    2019 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Jackson)
    2020 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Rodgers)
    2021 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Rodgers)
    2022 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Mahomes)
    2023 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Jackson)

10 of the last 11. It’s not written in stone, Ryan won it with the #2 seed in 2016 (got help as Brady was suspended for 4 games).

There was another in-season Allen MVP thread where I pointed this out. When I told them that Allen was essentially out of the running in early November I was met with skepticism and disbelief. At this time the Bills were 5-5 and I pointed out that Allen was around +3000 odds. Still not convinced. At no time in the last 3 months did Allen’s odds dip below +1000 (i.e. it wasn’t happening).

Thank you. It has nothing to do with all the other stuff.

If we had beaten the Jets and the Broncos, and had the league’s best record, Josh would have been MVP.

  3. Is it me or does Diggs look like he gained weight? His face looks a little different.

Maybe he lost motivation when Brady came onboard and cut down his downfield routes, started mailing it in a little.

Then he couldn't turn the focus back on when needed to on the few deep shots he got late in the year...

In the 2nd half the Bills ran the ball 7 times on 1st down for a total of 15 yards.  Allen had a run for 8 yards and Cook had a run for 8 yards.  The other 1st down runs were for 1, 3, -2, -4 and 1 yard.  A total of 5 attempts for -1 yard.  I'm not sure what the Bills should have done but it had to be clear to Brady and McDermott that KC had made an adjustment on 1st down defense and they needed to try something different.  But they didn't.

This is such a great point. Just one time if they lined up in the heavy set and went play action, Kincaid down the seam and Ty on a wheel route… huge play.

Me too. And once the clock hits zero, I immediately start worrying about the next game.
