  1. With fiber, and not going overboard with advanced programming options on YouTube TV, it's pretty ***** great -- and a heckuva lot cheaper than the cable or DTV route.

Having written that, signed up for DTV probably a decade ago, and it took 8 techs to finally tell us that the tree line would mean zero signal.  Seriously?!  You couldn't put it on the roof?

While I wouldn't be interested in tasting it, seems like a twig 'n' berries cake.

  3. For me?  Not so much.  For my dad?  He's the master.  My mom's in rough shape right now, so my sister and I have been pitching in and staying with my dad in WNY to help out.  Neither of us has lived in that house for probably 30 years (if not more), so finding my dad's life hacks brings incredible joy to an otherwise moribund situation.

    Without further ado:

    1. Trash can hack.  Foot pedal no longer works?  No problem.  Loop a piece of duck tape to the lid and pull it the duck tape loop when you need to open the can.  It's been like this for 10 years.
    2. Microwave hack.  Microwave no longer turns off when timer reaches zero.  No problem.  Put an interrupting switch between the plug and the outlet, and turn it off when the timer expires.  Oddly (a) this doesn't turn off the clock when you hit the switch though it stops the microwave and (b) if you open the microwave door while it's still running, the microwave will continue running.
    3. Mice / vermin hack.  Mice have been coming up from the basement into the house.  Do you call an exterminator?  No, you attach wood blocks and rubber to the bottom of the basement door so that the mice can't squeak through (pun intended, I guess).
    4. Buick Ultra paint hack.  Rust on the 2001 Buick Ultra?  No problem.  Duck tape to the rescue.
    5. Desk hack.  Don't want to buy a new computer desk?  No problem, attach an old interior door to the top of a dresser.
    6. Garbage disposal hack.  Can't lift the garbage disposal to install a new one?  No problem, buy a bottle jack from Autozone, crank the garbage disposal up to the mount, get things attached, return bottle jack to Autozone.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg!

There aren’t any but tunes to toke to, plenty.

The second to last time that I partook in four two zero, I watched "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle".  It seemed like it was a 9 or 10-hour movie, but with Rebecca De Mornay in her prime, it was a nice night.  Last time, probably 15 years ago, I lost my ***** and laughed for about an hour over... these salt and pepper shakers that looked like smurfs.

Having written that, nobody (I hope?) would listen to "Caress of Steel" while high.  I can barely wait for it to end as it is, but 9 to 10 hours of it would be as un-Rebecca De Mornay as it could possibly get.

So.......the Broncos have zero draft capital for the next 2 years pretty much, a craptastic phony for a QB they are tied to until 2026, but hey, they have Sean Payton.

We shall see.  Payton went to the Saints and turned that moribund franchise around.  Yeah, he's been out of the game for a bit, but we'll see.  I'm kinda thinking that he's going to be the ghost of Mike Ditka, but maybe there's a precious Dick Vermeil season or two in him.

Watch this video and imagine 2 TE sets with Knox. This dude can block like crazy and is an enormous target. Kills 2 birds with one stone. Another target for Allenand help on the line. Would allow knox toeat more in the passing game. Late first target?

This makes sense, but it's a coaching issue, in as much as McD is better than the clown car of coaches who preceded him.  You could Tecmo Bowl this team, as comprised, and they would still lose the big games.

Disagree with Russ’ problems not being fixable.  I think his problem this year was coaching.  There’s no way he goes from his play in Seattle to a dud in Denver.  The issue was a coach that couldn’t adjust his offense to tailor to his QBs strengths.  Pete Carroll was a master at this.  I mean look what he’s doing with Geno and how he’s getting the max out of him.

Russ's problems are fixable so long as he is actually interested in playing actual football again, not the marketing campaign that talks about him playing football, but like actual grinding, and no offense to any fan of Tinder or Grindr on this board.

Considering Von will probably be out long time, we need another edge that can go after the QB consistently.

I can see the marketing slogan of Van Ness Monster already.  I'm in the wrong line of business.

AFCE might well be the toughest division in football next year, and we also play KC and Cincy.  Going into next year, the cream of the crop is going to be KC and Cincy and we will be in that next tier until we can prove we belong back in the convo as a top AFC team.

I agreed with all else that you wrote except for this.  NE is a wildcard with a retread OC, and they will presumably be better. Tua?  Who knows?  Jets?  Probably not, but who knows?

If you're trying to right the ship with Russ, then I don't think there's a better move that can be made.

They don't need much of anything on offense.  Just a mind to get the most out of Wilson.

This assumes, of course, that Wilson is still interested in actually playing the game of football, rather than marketing being a football player above all else.  He was not good, and maybe Payton is a Franciscan, who through missionary work can make miracles happen.

At this point, Bills are outside those 3 teams. I kept watching the AFC game and thinking what would the Bills be doing in this game? I just don't see how their defensive philosophy could have stopped either of those teams. Bills have no rush without Miller and playing the Bengals receivers 10-12 yards off the line of scrimmage is just insanity. Probably would not have been able to stop Kelce either.

On the offensive side of the ball, can you imagine the Bills OL against those pass rushes last night? Disaster in the making, Allen would have been our only offense as he would have been running for his life.

Unless something major is done in the offseason, I can see Bills passed by Dolphins for the division. Probably still make playoffs, but could see out in Wildcard round.

    The Dolphins?  Really?!

Who knows what they'll get out of Tua going forward (godspeed to that guy as concussions are no joke)?

I agree with you that the Bills, based on performance from the second half of the season through the playoffs, seem light years behind KC and the Bengals.

  12. If only the issue was QB coach.  McD, unlike many of his predecessors, is not a clown, and actually built something where the team has been competitive for consecutive years for the first time in, like, forever.

However, the end of the season, which for anybody who was paying attention throughout, ended with that expected thud, and once again without a chance to win the SB.  Players coming out and saying that they were done means that the team doesn't need a new QB coach.  It means that it needs a new HC, and a new regime from there on down.

It appears that's it isn't going to happen, and that's fine 'cause I have zero say in it, but it really should.  When you look at the drop off between KC, Cinn, and Buffalo, it's significant.

Just for kicks, can anyone remember anything that was suggested on this site that was implemented by the Bills?

As a joke, I recommended that they draft EJM.  As a callback, I recommended giving up picks for Watkins.  har har.
