I’m tired of average talent. I want elite talent. Why waste money on Crowder? Just go get 1 player with elite talent to pair with Diggs. Why can’t we do it? We can make room if we need to cap wise. If 10x rather get Adams or Godwin.

Then you are going to have a problem with Diggs wanting more money.

Plus with Allen's contract kicking in the Chace we sign other mega deals is slim to none.

    So not correct

seeding in some instances can be a 12 win team facing (visiting) a 10 win team.

seeding does not mean the higher seed is better.

It happens often in the WC rounds

I said "typically"... yes, there are instances that is not the case, but typically it is.

Look at this year... steelers v KC, Raiders v Cinci, Patriots v Bills... higher seeded team better in every case same thing in the NFC with Philly v TB, 49ers v Dallas, Arizona v Rams... it does happen that sometimes the lower seeded team is recognized as the better team, but typically not the case.

False.  That’s an intentionally bastardized version of it that I’m sick of seeing.  The truth is that the reason was “Taxation Without Representation”.  It wasn’t the taxes, it was being taxed without having representation in the government.

Lol Jesus you are incredibly particular. What without representation? Taxes. Yes, taxation was a key issue in the USA establishing independence lol.

Holy cow, Bart Starr?! Man ahead of his time. Didn't know they had passer ratings that high back then when defenders were allowed to murder everyone.

People are taking the facts and making them more meaningful than they actually are. It's two games. It's an incredibly small sample size and doesn't mean a thing.

Allen didn't lose because they were on the road. That had nothing to do with those losses. The team lost because of specific blunders in the Houston game and because Kansas City was a superior team. There's no reason to believe that the outcome would have been different if they played in a different stadium.

The other funny thing about playoff road losses is it means you played a higher seeded team, which is typically a better team.

That 0-2 road record is meaningless given those games that were lost. I agree.

  5. Even though he's 36 years old,  Calais Campbell is still playing at a high level and has some huge size we could use on the line.  I would love to sign him for a reasonable deal given his age. He wants a super bowl, come and get it.

That's nice.  He's not calling plays.

We've all watched Daboll call plays, doesn't (really) make us OC's lol

Well no that's the OC responsibility.  Dorsey was promoted to 2nd in line in the hierarchy though. I think it's fair to assume that's why he would be next in line.

  7. If we go after a WR I would like to see us go for a guy that's 25 or 26 and on the market who hasn't hit full potential yet.

    DJ Chark

    Michael Gallup

    Christian Kirk

Those 3 would be the top of my list considering we aren't breaking the bank on anyone... Kirk would be a slot replacement for Beasely who will be 33 next year and has lost too much athleticism.

Chark and Gallup have big upside on the outside. Especially Chark, he makes a lot of contested catches has a good blend of size and altheticism, produced with bad QB play, but he broke his ankle a few months ago.  If he can pickup the offense he could be a star here.

a quick take/answer might be simple, Jerra is  incredibly loyal to U Oklahoma, the whole old SW Conference ; Lamb went to Oklahoma.   Plus, my understanding is that Cooper (  who went to Alabama, arch rival of Jerra's alma mater Arkansas) acts like a pampered, super strange dude/diva type, which I assume would drive old school Jurra nuts.  Just my opinion.

Oh don't get me wrong I understand there's criticism to be had of Cooper but what he's saying about him and the timing is absurd. He's favoring a guy that laid a dud over one of his only producers after a playoff loss. And what he said about not making catches doesn't make any sense either.

Would you rather target Brandon Scherff or Chris Godwin or Davante Adams?

We likely can’t afford them, but could you imagine.

Diggs, Adams, Davis . Make it happen!

With Allen's large extension we are not signing any monster deals for guys like Adams. Also we probably aren't going to pay any WR more than we are Diggs, that would create a troubling dynamic.

He isn’t subject to testing for 90 days from his first positive test (same with all who landed on the covid list) so that would take him past the SB anyway

If I recall correctly it would actually take Rodgers up to the week before the Super Bowl, I remember reading about that.

Either way, this is over due.

If the Bills make the Super Bowl I am thoroughly looking forward to a whole media week for Cole Beasley making people's heads explode.  Honestly, probably just what the team needs, run him out there to generate all the heat for something unrelated to the game and take the pressure off everyone else 😆

I haven’t heard of any Chiefs assistants being interviewed. Guess everyone thinks it’s Andy’s show.

Spags, their DC failed as a HC before and viewed as a coordinator.

Bieniemy doesn't deserve to be anywhere near a leadership position like HC, he has a lengthy arrest record, he's been arrested 4 times 3 for physical fights and 1 for DUI, including grabbing a female parking attendant by the neck... when he coached in college at Colorado they got busted in a scandal using drugs and sex to lure recruits. The guy is a walking piece of human garbage and they only reason he has a coordinator job is because KC doesn't care about criminal activity as we all well know.

  12. Dak can not be called a winner,  in 4 playoff games he's 1-3. He's got work to do to earn that title.

I'm surprised he's going after Cooper in that manner and complementary of Lamb... both Cooper and Lamb have the same 65% catch rate of their targets, and Cooper only received 104 targets,  if they actuality the him the ball the same 120 times they did Lamb he actuality would have hit 1000 yards.  To say he isn't catching the ball is wrong, and to say he's not bringing in enough I mean you aren't throwing him the rock too begin with. 104 targets is low for a WR of his caliber.

Furthermore, Cooper outplayed Lamb in the playoffs!! Cooper brought in 6 of 10 targets for 64 and a TD... on the other hand Lamb brought in only 1 catch on 5 targets for 21 yards!! He didn't show up! In what world do you throw your producer under the bus for a guy that didn't produce?

Really poor choice of words then.

"Then you need to rip off another play with what 17 or less seconds and no time outs to score?" - You can get two maaaybeee three passing plays with 17 seconds left on the 3. It is presnap read, hit your backfoot, fire it in there or into the stands. You phrased it as that there was inherent risk in just getting a single play off in "17 seconds" and with "no time outs".

Also weird you mention you thought the Bills OL lined up for pass. Allen lines up in shotgun. But the coaching staff didn't get the team lined up properly?

I actually would have played for the FG there. I disliked the decision as a whole. But it wasn't a coaching blunder. Allen made the wrong check and slipped. The OL lost their one on ones. It is what it is

Fine whatever lol... 17 sec no TO to score after a first down... 3 plays? Maybe... or maybe only one of you are sacked or stopped short.

I didn't think the Bills lined up on pass formation, that's what they did, look at the play, the are off the LOS with Allen in shotgun. That's a fact.  Bills run out of shotgun like this and for short yardage it's a disaster waiting to happen. You guard is a half yard off the LOS, you're doomed.

Bills had a timeout. Play looks like Allen checked into a run.

So in that scenario, what’s the coaching blunder?

I didn't say they didn't have a time out. I was saying you run for the 1st, you stop the clock at 17 seconds or so,  now you still need to run another play and score with no time outs, that's what I was trying to communicate.

Did Allen check? I don't think so unless he or a coach said so I don't think that's the case, looked to be deception by design.
