My least favorite of all the combinations.

If I was in charge, this combination wouldn't exist.

I prefer all red, which is not really our best look, also all blue!

All white is like not even trying from an artistic standpoint.

I disagree that this is not trying from an artistic standpoint.  The white on white is clearly a minimalist postmodern look, white on white are chic monochromatic ensembles that range from floaty and bohemian to structured and formal.

Am I missing something? I’m only seeing KC and Fins(minus Tua).

You're not, he probably got that stat a couple weeks ago. Bengals have 2 wins vs 500+ teams.

But it isn't like that means much, the Bills only have 3 wins vs 500+ teams. They beat Baltimore, KC, and Miami.

Bengals have 1 more game after us vs winning team, Baltimore week 18... this is our last hand vs a winning team as we play the crapbox Patriots next week.

I think it is safe to say that the Bills are by FAR the most battle-tested team of 2022. Between the injuries, the weather, relocation, the compact schedule of 3 games and strength of schedule, they have weathered the storm. I would say the Chargers have also done an incredible job of getting through their injuries as well. Cinci for sure has had some nice victories and weathered their own storm when they lost Chase for 6 weeks.

That leads me to the Chiefs....Mahomes will always pose a threat but man, did this team get the breaks this year with the AFC West and now closing out the season with Broncos and Raiders (Minus Carr). The Chiefs are going to run into a brick wall when they eventually have to face a Bengals or Bills team in Round 2. If KC gets the 1 seed, their path will once again be the one of least resistance. We all know how big the Bengals game is Monday night and for me, it's going to be torture knowing what truly is on the line. It's going to feel like an AFC Championship game because I really feel it will foreshadow what happens in a month.

My main point of this thread is to point out that KC is going to get a pretty massive reality check in the playoffs and I really hope we are the ones to deliver it in Orchard Park.

The Chiefs aren't battle tested??? You realize football existed before this season, right?

They are probably the MOST battle tested team in the AFC. Unlike any of those other teams they have actually won a Super Bowl and they have been to two.  They have played in more big games, heck they have won more big games than all 3 other the others combined have even played in.

This is silly. Someone needs a reality check all right 😄

What do you think about the Cole situation at the moment ?

He’s got very few snaps till now, why ? Maybe he’s not ready enough ? Maybe they don’t see it good anymore ? It could be that he lost his speed ? Honestly i would love to see him more involved, because i still think that he’s one of the most talented slot player in the game.

We need more slants and jet sweeps or short curls in our passing game, do you agree ? And i still think Cole could be our best weapon.

The offense has changed from last year, so he needs to get up to speed, all while the team is focused on each next game, even though he used to be in the team it was under Daboll.

Considering you are an Italian Bills fan, think of getting a new guy up to speed like this...

It's like cooking risotto, you can't rush it or it doesn't come out right, and no matter how quick you want to cook it you need to take your time.  You got your broth simmering, which is our playbook, then you got the risotto which is Beasley.

First we need to put some oil in the pan and cook some shallots or whatever else you want to go in. You get that going in the pan first -- that's calling his agent for a deal.

Next, we add the aborio rice and toast it, this is getting Beasley acclimated to the staff and his new team mates.

Now we got the broth simmering, the playbook. We can't add it all at once,  we need to scoop it in ladel by ladel, and we need to keep mixing the rice (which is the equivalent of practice). After about 40+ minutes of ladeling in broth (playbook) a cup at a time while mixing (practice), we are looking good.

Now we add in some fresh chopped parsley and some parmagiano-reggiano or whatever else, which will be the new game plan installs of his role,  and boom we are ready.

At this point in time I suspect we are still adding broth and mixing.

I think the staff will have him ready to go as a matchup dependent role player for playoffs.

    Buon appetito!

He lasted because other teams "reached" for need pieces instead of best player available. Luckily the Vikings scored on a "need" piece in Jefferson.

Well not quite, don't forget Ruggs (12), Jeudy (15), Lamb (17), Reagor (21) were all taken in front of him.

Coming out of college there was a lot of talk that Jefferson benefited too much playing from the slot on LSU basically being given free space at will and that wouldn't be there for him in the NFL.

I've only been calling for sprint draws/draw plays for Cook all season. That last run would've been another TD had it been Jimbo. My question is why did Motor cut it back inside towards trouble when he could've stayed outside and picked up more yardage?

Because that's Dingleberry.  That's what he does.

I get he's high character high effort, but when we talk physical ability and skills there is a lot to be desired.

Can't wait for the transformation to Captain James Cook! Arrrrrrggg!!! This offense could really use his explosion and athleticism out of the backfield, so much opportunity underneath we just have not taken advantage of.  Will be nice to have a RB that can make the saftey miss.

  7. Jacobs will cost far too much and if you haven't noticed this front office has zero interest in investing anything other than the minimum at RB.

Anyone who thinks we resign Singletary is delusional.

Hines will possibly be restructured or cut. Very good chance that contract doesn't stand as it is today.

  8. Bills are having a hard time being the hunted IMO, every opponent is amped up to play them and take a shot at the king. This team gets too high and low despite McDermott's PR to not do so.

I have no doubt they will show up in Cinci. It's just a question of if they do their homework to the same level..  we'll see.

This stat is a bit misleading, Mahomes would own the record handily if they didn't count 2018 as one full year for him because he got some mop up duty in the last week of the season

    2017*

Okay then don't count Josh's first year when he was just learning too lol

Of course they count if Mahomes was ready to play he would have started, he didn't because he wasn't

  10. I'm canceling after the season,  can't wait to get rid of them, way too expensive. Nothing they offer will keep me after how much I've been charged over the years and reps screwing up discounts. Company went steeply downhill after AT&T bought them and stopped investing in developing their technology and interface.

    I do too.

And I think both decisions could be regretted immediately...........and the results could be very different next season........in a bad way.

You don't want to be built around an expensive and oft-injured RB and a middling QB.

If you don't have a pricey QB is easy to go splurge on a RB like Barkley. Fans and players will love it if you sign him, he will immensely help your offense and a young developing QB, and you aren't going to get enough for him to making dealing him worth it.

At this point you have more to gain in signing him.

They will absolutely not bring Jones back as the guy, they will draft someone most likely.

I think a lot of people noticed the head hit, but they cut away from it really fast as the play was going on down the field.

It’s also a play that happens all the time. People just noticed it because it’s Tua.

I hate it for him, but if you can get concussed that easily .. you either need someone to coach you on how to protect yourself, or maybe you’re just unable to given physical stature.

I know guys like Brees had long careers, but Tua and (for other reasons) Kyler seem injured all the time.

Tua isn't just small, he's weak, and his self preservation and balance is bad. When he gets hit or tackled he gets thrown like a rag doll every time, it's comical. He's like a child out there.

Biggest urban legend on this board.

Truth: Trent Edwards sucked badly before during and after the hit in Arizona, which was a legitimately hard hit..  He was horrible from day one but his best statistical game came after that hit.  There is a good chance he was drafted only because Bill Walsh promoted him to then GM Marv Levy and this was done as a practical joke between two old friends.

BINGO!! Trent Edwards checked the ball down consistently, hence the name Trentative. He could hit short passes and quick hitters that were predetermined. However, he came on to the team after a period of such horrible QB play that his mild competence made him seem great by comparison, much like Tyrod Taylor. Plus fans were so desperate for a solution.
