I hope it is true since being without Sunday Ticket for the first time in 10 years I am racking up a pretty hefty amount tabs at the Bills bars here in the Windy City.

Also, this thread reminds me of the old BBMBs Rumors section when people would cite a source by saying “Per Twitter: …” LOL

I've thought of dumping ticket but the bar tabs and hangovers LOL... Sunday ticket much healthier for my wallet and gut.

Can't wait to dump directv though, ticket going to streaming next year! If they sell it to directv streaming I'll lose my mind hahaha

No. The context in which Lamar used it was anti-gay. It was saying to a straight man you are gay to demean him which infers he thinks gay is less than straight in some way.

It would still be offensive said to a woman. But it wasn't said to a woman on this occassion. It was said to a man. For the reason above.

That's not the point of the insult. The point of the insult is one of submissiveness, which is why women are offended as well.

Is it also "anti-gay" when someone tells someone to shove something up their butt? 🤣

Sorry, but not a societal problem. This is your own insecurity/sensitivity projected on society.

Guys, it’s the flu.  I work currently in anti-infectives.  It’s projected to be a bad flu season.  It has been easy for the last two years.  Most likely because by COVID protocols has helped with the common flu.

It’s not a big deal and happens every flu season when we have a nasty bug.  Just get a flu shot and hope for the best.  Wash you’re hands, keep 6ft apart, and be smart.

The difference between them and us is we don’t have docs who can tap IV’s in us daily keeping us hydrated.

it’s not a mystery illness.  Some of you guys are a bit of conspiracy theorists.  Watching JFK too much.

Have fun as this too shall will pass.

This is incorrect, the flu disappeared in 20-21, and the CDC stood by the data. Only 1,675 confirmed cases and no estimate due to minimal activity.

    https://www.cdc.gov/flu/season/faq-flu-season-2020-2021.htm

Then last year the flu was still hiding out with only 9 million estimated cases, from 30-40 million the 3 years prior.

I have at no point missed the fact that it is an insult to everyone.

Of course you have! Lol, you keep calling it anti-gay when you admit it is offensive in all context including hetero women.

Honestly sounds like this is a you problem and not a societal problem.

And I do feel that you feel that way, hope you are able to work out.

No. He didn't say it to a woman.

So the remark is okay to say to women but not men then?

You make no sense. If it were meant to be an anti gay statement women would be told the other part... but they aren't.

It's an insult to anyone regardless of their sex. That's the part you are missing. Unless you are saying this is okay to say to women but not men. Hetero insults are okay?

  6. Just now, GunnerBill said:

It is highly offensive to women. It is offensive to gay men as well as women. Trust me. He said it to a guy because he thinks a straight guy will be insulted by the inference that he is not a straight guy because he presumes all straight guys think being gay is worse than being straight in some way.

So women are offended by being called a gay man?

  7. Just now, GunnerBill said:

Lol. Seriously. You guys really need to engage your brain.

    Or my boyfriend?

I said wife, mother, or daughter.  You could have selected mother, every person alive has one of those or you don't exist.

You can pick a different female if you choose such as Grandmother, sister, or a friend, whoever, its not hard...

The term is said towards women as well and highly offensive. When someone says bleep a bleep to a female they are highly offended, as they should be.

It's a submissive position and offensive the term is used to insult and put the person in a place of submissiveness.

Sorry but anyone claiming this is anti-gay in any way is just dead wrong. Go be offended about something else.

And the inference that it should "get under someone's skin" to be accused of being gay because being gay is something they should be somehow ashamed of is problematic. What Lamar said was not okay.

Oh stop this is beyond ridiculous.  The same line he said is always said towards women as well and also considered offensive. It's not in any way a anti-gay thing its just a purely offensive thing to say towards a man or woman and a statement of blatant disrespect.

I'm sure if someone told your wife mother, or daughter to bleep a bleep you and she would both be highly offended.

Deshaun Watson got a fully guaranteed mega deal with lawsuits from 22 women for sexual assault... you think a tweet is going to cost him money?

I keep re-living that play in my mind. Wish we had been aggressive, spread them out, and threw it out of the endzone.

Min had a TO and you could take a stoppage... even if you had an incomplete you could still run the clock with 3 downs.  they would have had to sneak a 2nd time too if the first worked. Plus they sold out and let them know they were sneaking PLUS they tipped the snap with Gabe's motion It was a stupid stupid call and blew up in their face. Just horrific end game stay strategy/ management,  yet again.

That commercial is out for a while what they need to do is get him on the State Farm commercials with the other quarterbacks

To be fair, just like Dorsey is learning on the fly, we have a generation of Bills fans that are learning how to be fans of a winning team, or are fans that forgot what it’s like to be a fan Of a winning team. Their default is to revert to “fire X” because they now have expectations that are totally out of whack.

To be honest i think this applies more the other way around. So many fans are so desperate for the team to be relevant after the drought that they don't really care if the team wins the super bowl, they just want a playoff participation trophy.

Josh Allen is so good the team should win multiple super bowls with him and the fact is McD single handedly cost us 1 last year with the worst coaching choke job in the history of the league -- worse than Pete Carroll not running at the goal line.

But some fans are okay with that because they are okay just being relevant due to their low self esteem from the drought.

So many fans on this board have said themselves "i just want to win one", that's such a freaking loser mentality. Not everyone subscribes to that.

Any disappointed/diacouraged "fans" can go the fck away.  Spoiled brats. 8-3 while fighting through a lot.  3 losses by a combined 8 points.  Go back to your 2003-2017 Bills and enjoy that

    True caveman thinking.

People are smart to look at how the Bills are playing and their level of execution. They barely beat one of the worst teams in the league.

So tired of people using the drought years as a way to set low expectations, like you're happy to just have a participation trophy for being relevant. Guess what? The Super Bowl drought is still alive and well.  Some fans actually want to win a Chamionship and aren't complacent with just not being a losing team.

Joe Marino posts a ton of content but his postgame pod for the Bills Lions Thanksgiving game deserves it’s own thread.

So many members of the Mafia are upset, confused, and discouraged right now. The way he breaks down exactly what’s going on is masterful and he hits the nail on the head on point after point.

One of his firsts points is simply the fact that Josh has had only a few practices for these last 3 games starting with just one limited practice before the Vikings game. How the lack of practice sessions have stunted the ability to get Hines installed in the offense properly. How, despite how none of us are in love with the way the Bills offense or Josh is playing right now, we still rank #2 in the league in average points and yards per game over these last 3 ugly games.

He touches on so much more including a lot dealing with the defense and most key players individually. I love his perspective and feel most Bills fans would appreciate this content.

Lack of practice is directly the fault of the coaching staff.

McD decided not to travel to Detroit (or nearby area) early before the storm, sacrificing multiple days of practice due to storm and then Saturday travel. Then egregiously decides to travel BACK to Buffalo in between, costing us Wednesday for travel.

You can arrange facilities, there's plenty of indoor complexes and college complexes that your front office can arrange.

The coaching staff purposely decided to have as little practice as possible coming off 2 losses. Egregious.

There’s no way that was the right read. Some of those throws are his magnificent highlights and others of those same (forced) throws are his crippling turnovers.

This is like saying the lights on the Christmas tree are too bright. Way to be a wet blanket.

For an in-game throw with pads on, bodies swirling around you, and a hurt elbow to boot, 59 mph is utterly blazing. Especially after you’ve already thrown it 41 times already and otherwise taken a physical beating.

Mahomes really ain’t that close although to be sure he has a GREAT arm and can make all of the throws. He is great. No on in league history was able to match Allen in velocity until Malik Willis came along. Allen shattered the Senior bowl record for velocity with 66.1 mph and has been measured at 74 mph in a different setting also. Malik Willis truly has a cannon, though: https://theathletic.com/3116058/2022/02/08/high-upside-traits-is-atlanta-native-malik-willis-the-perfect-pick-for-the-falcons-or-too-risky/

Not sure if the math on that tweet is correct, the ball has an arc to it so the actual distance is more then the hashmarks on the field. Accounting for arc puts velo higher.

Lol you do realize that Pederson, who coached that Super Bowl win, was fired, right?

Thanks for proving my point for me there, guy.

That doesn't prove anything, the Eagles won the super bowl 2 years sooner than Reid won his and they both have the same trophies since the split even though Reid has Mahomes lol... it's a wash, the Eagles won sooner abs didn't miss out on anything

We’ll find out next year, no matter what.

Simgletary likely won’t be back with this team as a back up, or a starter, due to the financial restraints this team will make.

You can post a video that shows Cook making a good cut. There are 100 more for Singletary doing the same.

The photo you posted re: Singletary was heavily discussed and questioned the accuracy due to it being a still shot and lack of EZ angle.

You can pick and choose videos, photos and statistics all you want to support your claim. When it comes down to it, THIS YEAR, it isn’t even close who is the more reliable and appropriate option for this team to lean on.

Again, Singletary has years as a proven rusher, receiver and pass protector. Cool is a pipe dream for the future that I fear Beane reached on.

We can disagree, that is fine. I never said he was the truth a RB, or an all pro, or even a pro bowler. But I guarantee you in NFL circles he garners a ton of respect from players and coaches for his abilities and results on the field.

I'm not picking and choosing statistics,  i posted his athletic profile in comparison to the league by percentile lol.

Advanced stats have been posted on the past showing he's a negative runner, less yards than expected.

You keep saying Singletary is proven... proven what? Career best year 870 yards rushing on the most explosive offense in the league that affords him ask the opportunity in the world? Any average RB would be cranking 1k plus at will on this team. They face an average of 6 defenders in the box, he's got light boxes all day.

For sure we can disagree. Im totally comfortable at the fact so many love Singletary just because he's a Bill and tries hard. And we can disagree on certain things, but not indisputable facts such as his athletic profile, bottom of the league.

Yup... same people are always blaming the coaches for everything. McDermott is the right coach for this team 100%... Andy Reid eventually left Philly a bum who couldn't win big games and now he's a genius. I'll be damned if I want the same to happen to McDermott.

Lol you realize the Eagles won the super bowl in 2017 before Reid won his only ring, right?

McD should be no where near a high powered offensive team. He's out of his element.

If you somehow took ‘edmunds is a suspect player’ away from the last few games I have a bridge to sell you 😂.

Rousseau has been fantastic this year and we lost von midgame.

you also just straight up avoided the injuries to the offensive line and still needed a paragraph or two to try to invalidate some of the injuries haha

not to mention our other safety has been playing hurt also as well as our qb.  There’s just no way to prepare your roster for this amount of injuries and despite all of that we are sitting at 8 wins with a mini bye week comin

Our backup LBs are trash. Dodson is a zero, everyone knows this. The front offices idea of a back up LB was a 218 lb kid with mediocre legs on a 2 round reach.

The problem is front office and coaches love to put undersized lunch pail guys as backups and when they get thrown into action they can't hold up.

I'm not sure what Leslie Frazier has to do with our offensive line.

We complain about injuries because the defensive coaches run a system and stick to it and can't game plan for crap. Completely inflexible, run the system and stick to it.

Cook’s athleticism is great. And what’s that do for you if you can’t read blocks, break tackles or catch the football?

Because he doesn’t have track speed, he is has low athleticism? Sure. Ignore balance, agility, lean, leverage and everything else that makes him a tremendous and reliable asset in the run game.

Do you like baseball? Here is a reference for you: If you build a team to hit home runs, you better be prepared to deal with strikeouts. This is James Cook, and 100% why Singletary needs to be out “get on base” lead runner.

He has a fantastic first cut and ability to make people miss. He rarely goes down on first contact, and always falls forward  with his low center of gravity and leg churn.

Our home run hitter is Allen and the passing offense. Our running game is built to be a reliable and sustainable complimentary piece.

Absolute nonsense that Cook can't read blocks.  Utter nonsense and competely unsubstantiated.

Singletary has low athleticism because he's a bottom percentile athlete and the slowest starting RB in the league.

    DS-2177.png

The baseball analogy for Singletary would be Brock Holt, unathletic try hard slap hitter that fans love. I wouldn't mind him as a backup but he brings nothing as a starter to an explosive offense.

There is so much opportunity at the RB position for this Offense and it is being pissed away. Your description of Singletary as a runner is fantasy land, no offense.  By your description he would be a 1500 yard back.
