You think petting an alligator is crazy. Check this out.

Holy smokes. Of course, he's only showing you the playful side of Emma. In the background, she's like, "waiit here, I see a little kid splashing on the beach. I'm gonna grab a snack."

Is this like looking for a Waldo, who can also anchor as a NT or 1T?

At a quick glance it appears to be regional, but I think it’s actually a lot more socio-economic when you keep reading.

Seattle at the bottom of the list makes sense. Everyone's running into work or running to their cars to get out of the rain.

And because of their LATITUDE. More consistent length of days throughout the year. Closer to the equator and poles,  it really doesn't matter. With stuff like this, the middle latitudes bear more of a burden.

It's pretty disingenuous of Florida.  They wouldn't be pushing this crap if there were health effects affecting driven by their latitude.  Oh wait, there are. 😏

Why do they even wanna fuq w/us given the already increased middle latitude burden:

Do we mess around with their hurricane funding?

If we all lived at the same latitude and had similar length of days consistently throughout the year, then fine.

Fair points. I think what Florida is doing is specific to their state. Currently states can opt out of DST and stay on standard time, but no state has the option of staying on DST. They'd simply like that option.

If that happens and you go on a cross country road trip, just crank up the Chicago tune: "Does anybody really know what time it is."

    7:28am in Florida….still dark!

I live in Florida as well. This is one of the states pushing for permanent DST. I'm quite certain a big reason is tourism. Visitors like to get up and watch the sun rise on the Eastern side and sun set on the Western side. In both cases it's better if it's later. You can sleep in a bit before the sun rises, and it's nicer to go to dinner around 7pm, then have drinks and watch the sun set. In the winter you'd have to get the early bird special before watching the sun set.

Ya got me, being they are 99% WAGs, on a good day, cutting the lawn and having a martini and a smoke afterwards is more certainly more gratifying, 😁👍🍸🚬
