Fundamentals. Brady, even at 48 years old, still works on fundamentals. Never stop honing your craft, Josh, or you end up with baker mayfield.

The way that McDermott said it was an execution thing (and that starts with me) and seeing the way bass kicked it...I'm guessing he meant to do his normal pop up that lands by the 5...
Pure speculation but that was definitely the play and feels like thay was the intention.
Yes. Its coach speak. I believe he was supposed to pop it up and short of goal line

Short memories around here. 17 years no playoffs…
Remember firing wade for no reason? 17 years of terrible football is what we got because of it.

People speculating that McDermott did tell Bass to squib and somehow he didn't.
The pain is just getting worse the longer it sits.
Goal line kick was probably what he was told.

When Bass intentionally kicks it short, he takes no run-up to the ball. I guess I would have to go back And watch, but I don’t remember him doing that.He didn’t… “execution” according to McDermott

Listen to the presser… “we talked about it, it starts with execution, and that’s on me”
What he’s saying is, bass was supposed to kick it short and didn’t.
doesn't want to hang his players out to dry. That’s what leaders do.

bring me Patterson and Hayden Hurst from ATL in FA. Draft OL, and a LB

We’re gonna have a ton of cap space once we cut Star LaTooLayLayonTheCouch and Truman Edmunds.
Unfortunately Edmunds is under contract next year... he's not going anywhere. We will have to watch him take wrong gaps and get washed out of important plays for the next season for sure.

this isnt the tom brady patriots. they don't have to play perfect. quite the contrary, NE has to play perfect.
not sure what a TV broadcast has to do with anything.blue pants there might be something to that....
our O line is going to get abused by matt judon and barmore... if only there were plays that would beat the blitz and discourage it... there arent any in dabolls bag of tricks, so.. you're probably right about taking an L...
If mcdermott walks the talk... they should win. if not, well.... 10-7 will get it done most likely.. but we'd be playing them a third time. -
Close... You need a new OL coach. Bobby Johnson Has to GO!

A first round RB would look great getting hit in the backfield.
would the first round running back run like he's got Christmas hams for feet? or would the first round back have the ability to run past the L.O.S instead of up the back of the center or guard when they actually do block their assignments? These two are the worst pair of running backs buffalo has ever had since i've been cognitively aware of football... and it's not even close. Bobby Johnson is to blame for most of this garbage, but even IF the line blocked well, these two absolute busts scare nobody.

We need to do something different at RB. This should've been a walk in.
I noticed this live as well.. not one defender outside.... smh... he must have the same instinct gene that edmunds has.

The Jags loss did nothing. There were too many games left and there was no urgency.
no such thing as too many games. This isnt baseball. EVERY Game carries massive weight- 1

I was down on the Bills until last night. I think that loss was exactly what they needed. They have been too conservative and too soft. I think that loss will loosen up the offense and toughen up the defense.
just like the loss to the hapless jags? Just like the pounding they got from the colts? they're cooked. coaching has failed them. 10-7 if they're lucky, and #5-7 seed depending on what else happens in the AFCE... -

How about the LB's in general? Milano had his fair share of whiffs and "catching" the blocker rather than attacking and shedding. I know Edmunds is the poster boy of "he sucks" around here and last night was not his night, but Milano isn't setting the world on fire either.
milano showed up and made plays. Edmunds... did not. *sad trombone*- 1

Go back and watch every single big play NE made on the ground... you'll notice 49 either completely washed out of the play, or fail to get off a block.
Looks like tarzan, plays like jane. It's not going to improve. Let miami overpay him next year.- 9

I expected nothing but gloom and doom after last night’s debacle, I would like to remind all who criticized me for stating that the key to winning is running the ball and stopping the run. We can do neither, so, if we do make the playoffs, we won’t get very far.
I’m hoping for some coaching, scheme, and player changes on both sides of the ball this offseason.
How dare you state the obvious. -
"wE'Re FiNe At RuNnInG BaCk" <- Every rose colored glasses homer on this board around draft time.
writing has been on the wall... trust what your eyes tell you. They're not good. They wont ever be good, and our FO is suspect as hell.

People are underestimating the Pats. Those will be 2 potentially tough games. Never write off Belichick.
agree 100%. Matt Judon is a problem. Especially with the mongoloids we have playing on our offensive line, particularly in the middle. He's going to eat felicianos face for lunch.
Their offense is efficient at worst. Took Tompa Bay to the wire... Those two games will probably be a split if were being honest.- 1

We're the only team in the league that cant execute a RB screen. It's utterly ridiculous.

Dont see any sense in giving up a pick for Sanders when I think the difference between he and Singletary is negligible.
Can sanders catch a screen pass?

Now imagine our team had a back 1/2 as good as this and forced teams to respect the run? Wouldn't matter since our O line couldn't run block a toddler.
