This was a spin of all spins by Wright.

It is click bait .. nothing more .. the guy says he would take Baker over Josh because of intangibles like leadership. Josh practically sweats leadership .. and not just when things are going well. Go to youtube and type in a team name (not just the Bills). Every one from ESPN will have an analyst name and ""shocked"., "explodes",  "heated"., "amazed" ... they are just playing us.  Listen to people wit serious takes and ignore the clickbait.

  2. Yardage Leaders after Saturday games:

    1. Diggs (Buff): 1459
    2. Kelce (KC): 1416 - could see reduced playing time next week
    3. Hopkins (Ariz): 1372
    4. Adams (GB): 1328
    5. Ridley (Atl): 1322
    6. Metcalf (Sea): 1282
    7. Hill (KC): 1276 - could see reduced playing time next week
    8. Jefferson (Minn): 1267

It looks like all but the KC receivers will be playing next week barring injury due to playoff scenarios.

As an aside Diggs leads Hopkins for most receptions at 1120 to 111 after week 16.

Until Josh, Hughes has been my favorite and the best Bill in the last ten years overall. From talent, production, effort, versus the pass and the run, going against the team's best linemen week in week out, chasing down players all the way across the field and sometimes even tackling WR after he had rushed the passer because he is the only guy that plays to the whistle every play. Extremely misunderstood, undervalued and over-criticized when he used to get a few extra penalties, too.

Thanks for the link. He's also a smart, thoughtful, great guy and teammate. Glad this is happening for him.

Agreed to all of this .. always worked his tail off even on a series of bad teams. Dealt with constant regime changes and kept plugging. Has to be one of the most lopsided trades the Bills have ever made.

  4. Yardage Leaders after Saturday games:

    1. Kelce (KC): 1416 - could see reduced playing time next week
    2. Hopkins (Ariz): 1372
    3. Adams (GB): 1328
    4. Ridley (Atl): 1322
    5. Diggs (Buff): 1314 - still to play
    6. Metcalf (Sea): 1282
    7. Hill (KC): 1276 - could see reduced playing time next week
    8. Jefferson (Minn): 1267

It looks like all but the KC receivers will be playing next week barring injury due to playoff scenarios.

As an aside Diggs is tied with Hopkins for most receptions at 11 before playing this game.

Last night I was listening to one of the sports channels on Sirius. They where talking about Tua playing with like 8 first round picks on offense alone at Bama and should we be evaluating qbs also on who they where throwing to as part of the evaluation...

Then they brought up Josh and imagine his numbers if he played for say Urban Meyer at Ohio State. Saying there’s no way he’s there at 7 if he played for the Buckeyes or even Baker playing at Wyoming instead of Oklahoma no way he’s no1...found it interesting if we should start evaluating qbs on who else is on their team

Way too early to judge Tua .. he might suck, he might be meh or he might become a superstar. We got annoyed when people trashed Josh based on his early output .. hopefully he does stink and the Dolphins remain average .. but too early to say

  6. Yardage Leaders after Saturday games:

    1. Hopkins (Ariz): had a bad game sits at 1372 after 15 games
    2. Kelce (KC): 1318 - could be reduced next week
    3. Diggs (Buff): 1314 - could be last game if sit next week
    4. Jefferson (Minn): 1267 - already played 15 games
    5. Metcalf (Sea): 1223
    6. Hill (KC): 1211 - could be reduced next week
    7. Ridley (Atl): 1192
    8. Adams (GB): 1186 - could be reduced next week

Crazy he is here given last year zero games over 300 yards passing. I would love to see a huge game for Diggs .. it would be so well deserved. Obviously not all Diggs, but still impressive.

    Will update after Monday.

  7. Dean Marlowe from Virginia was on a Richmond Va radio station with Michael Robinson (realmikerobb from NFL network - self proclaimed mid-atlantic Bills mafia ambassador). I like listening to the out of market radio shows as player tend to be a little more open. 14 minutes long.

Coach preaches Kaizon (constant improvement / constant growth)

Well he is getting some good frequent flier miles!
I seriously hope he gets a real chance, but I’m afraid he is yesterday’s news in the NFL and is on the ever wandering trail of backup status now

The whole notion of him not getting a chance is I think a little warped. Coaches see not just what happens in games but in practice and in the locker room. They talk to other players. A former first round “talent” does not switch teams four times if he is exhibiting potential. Keep in mind he was Practice Squad for the Bucs.. they have Blaine Gabbert as their back-up ..  he could not beat out Blaine stinking Gabbert. No offense to you @BigdaddyinOrlando I just think the opportunity excuse for this guy is thin. If anything he has gotten more chances because NFL Execs can’t get past the fact that he was recently a top draft pick.
