We have had our blood letting. Time to move on.  How badly will the Blills beat the Jets this week?

I'm only looking for Brady to get rid of the sloppiness and turnovers this next game.  Reestablish accountability.  Part of that is being in charge of Allen and not being his buddy as QB coach - not sure what their dynamic was prior to this week.   ......and yes, moving on, rather than wallowing in a pit of misery is the only path.

With the looming trade deadline and if you are Beane where do you focus?   DT1 , CB or WR.  My big concern about focusing on a WR is that the OC has weapons and apparently can not create schemes and mismatches with formations and motion.  maybe the WR solution is more Shakir, Harty, Kincaid and Cook with Harty replacing Gabe as your deep threat.

I am thinking DT1 is the biggest need since we seem to have lost pressure up the middle on passing downs.  The question is who is available and what price.  What assets do we have that someone else might want beside draft picks?

Trades are likely to be net negative in value in my opinion.  Agree on 1T DT. Always important but not an interesting position to media and casual fans.

how did Poona play last night? It seemed that, outside of the one drive where they gashed us, our Dline dominated the LOS. I'm curious if anyone saw Poona make an impact?

Looking forward to all 22 reviews for Ford, Williams, and Elam.

I don't think our personnel is the problem.  Sherfield was good on the Dolphins.  Harty gets open.  Davis (matter of opinion on here).  Dorsey doesn't know how to call plays for anyone besides Diggs.

Unless we are playing the Dolphins, which Josh just owns, changing anything besides Dorsey isn't going to matter

Would love to see a game (hypothetically) where Josh doesn't have Diggs and is limited to 25% shotgun. Would he and Dorsey evolve? I don't believe that the other receivers are that incompetent. The Diggs overreliance is a obvious tendency with accompanying forced passes. A couple of years ago it was a celebrated thing when Josh would throw to multiple receivers.

Sal just talked on WGR about asking Dorsey about this on Dorsey's Zoom call last week, and he said Dorsey indicated it's mostly on Josh being far more comfortable in shotgun then under center.

Time for Dorsey to get him comfortable. Still no excuse for calling a shotgun draw on the 1 yard line.

Dorsey perhaps too much Josh's buddy and less his coach.

Kinda lost in the mix...but when things went to crap and time was running out, some people worried about Josh going full hero ball.  I'm sure he was tempted, but I'll admit I was a bit surprised to see he didn't.

Maybe he actually took that Week One disaster to heart.  Too early to tell, but Sun. was at least encouraging in that regard.

Locked on Bills felt Josh played a good game based on the All 22.  Supporting cast not executing and repeated running into a heavy box were notable problems.

I agree. I have been vocal about my displeasure in Dawkins play but I have zipped my lips so far since the season has started. He has been playing great and hope he keeps it up.

When a rookie started getting the attention Dawkins used to get it likely got his attention.

  8. Nitpicking:

    • You can see when the pass is being forced to Diggs.  I'd like to see additional pass distribution to different receivers to include some critical downs.  Develop other players, be less predictable, prepare in case Diggs is out a game. Knox and Shakir only had one reception each.  Glad to see Sherfield get involved.
    • The Bills will win when Allen is patient.  I choose victories over crazy athletic highlight plays.  Get me to 3rd and 2 in the most boring manner rather than counting on some extended highlight play to convert from 3rd and 9.
    • The long interception was a reversion to Week 1.

    1. 2019 Thanksgiving Bills at Dallas win 26-15: This may be the moment after all the years of the drought that stamped Buffalo is back. 17' was fun and nice to end the playoff drought. Irrelevancy though ended on this day and it felt like kicking a door in saying "hi yea were back". Every element of the team did its part and it was as complete a win as any.

Star Lotulelei getting an interception while the announcers were having a Dallas love fest with Emmitt Smith was a special memory.

Does anyone know how to download wgr shows from their site? It seems like they've made some changes and you can only stream now.

Not sure if you can via the audacy app but that's not available in Canada anyway.

I too don't see the download function anymore.
