The Bills would be better served hyper focusing on the draft. Free agency is a poison pill if trying to land a big name guy.

You're competing against other teams trying to fill the same positional need, and to get the player you desire, that almost always means overpaying (that will be especially true this year with added cap space.) Most important, you're overpaying for a player who performed well in someone else's system. How they'll translate to your system, or what made them successful in the prior system, is often highly unpredictable.

I think this $13 million simply eases the ability to get that handfull of $2-3 million one-year deals that fill holes and give you essential depth players.

The Bills trade out of the 1st round to get an extra pick in the 3rd round.

Why not? Duper and Clayton (Miami) were drafted in rounds 2 and 8 respectively.

This is what kills me. Milano, tre, von. 60 mil or so in cap space and we still took kc to the limit. Those guys on the field at their highest ability and we win.

Hope tre got the rodgers surgery cause maybe he can come back

I think there is a lesson with Von regarding BIG money for an older player. He was an "all in" signing. Meanwhile, KC has found a way to be all in every year without signing Methuselah.

Tre and Milano are young enough to have been worth a big contract- just bad luck.

I loved Kelly, but I don't think there's any question at all that Allen is a better quarterback in every respect. (I don't count hardware, never have.)

I would give the deep arcing ball to Kelly. Also the short area touch passes and the quick slant throws.  So, not Every respect.

Maybe showing Taylor Swift a lot this season will bring in Taylor Swift viewers for this one time SB that they otherwise would not watch.  But then what?  When Swift and Kelce are not a couple next year?

She would just date a different, younger player.

Do NOT trade up. Whoever we take, I can just about guarantee a guy will go later who will be just as good or better. Happens every draft.

You would have to sedate Beane for most of the first round for that to happen.

We need dependable receivers that Allen can count on, not necessarily speed guys. I want a number one with reliable hands who’s a good route runner. Speed guys aren’t the only options at receiver. In fact it can very difficult to find receivers with speed and good hands. Tyeeek Hill made everyone become too obsessed with speedy receivers. Lets hope we draft a receiver in the early rounds, rather than think we’re finding a late gem because the guy is fast.

Separation by any means to include a few quick separation guys.
