  1. I'll say Beane will turn the 11 picks into no less than 8 to have a pick in Rounds 1-4.

    Round 1, Pick 28

    Round 2, Pick 60

    Round 4, Pick 129

Round 4, Pick 133 (via compensatory)

Round 5, Pick 143 (from CHI)

Round 5, Pick 159 (from GB)

    Round 5, Pick 162

Round 6, Pick 198 (from LAR)

Round 6, Pick 202 (from DAL)

    Round 6, Pick 206

    Round 7, Pick 246

I think it’s a great day! They’re actually trying to move in the right direction. Bills may or may not take a step back initially but this will definitely pay off down the line.

Exactly.  It's no slam on these great Bills players.  Not at all.  The only constant is change.

Pairing all that in, maybe a trade up is inevitable? There is a lot of great talent in this draft @ WR. Though only a handful of guys who are seen as legitimate #1 dominant guys.

I'd prefer not to trade up. Really hate seeing a rd 3-5 pick used for a trade-up when there is never really a "sure thing".

    1. Separation skills and hands above all for the WR.   If the receiver can't separate until deep or late, then there are few opportunities for them to contribute.  If they can only separate in the short areas, then we have another slot guy - which we don't need.  Downfield blocking, size, and height for contested catches are secondary.  For the times you can't "scheme a guy open", you want some natural separation skills.
    2. Replacing Davis is thinking too small.  Bills need to draft a guy to be the #1 because by the time he "gets it" in year 2, Diggs won't be a dominant #1.  Think ahead, not behind.  Then, by all means do draft another receiver in rounds 3-5 that has scary speed or high RAS.
