I think the one thing that stands out about how the draft picks are playing is That moving up in the draft is not smart yet we keep doing it.  That’s my main criticism of Bean.

Yes. Falling in love with players and trading up hasn't yielded better results than letting the draft fall to us naturally IMO. QB is the only position that justifies bundling picks.

  2. Unlikely to see the degree of turnover the OP suggests.  Next season, there will inevitably be players playing in positions that will frustrate fans.  We'll talk about getting two new tackles but will end up getting one that is better and hope that is enough to stabilize the line.  We'll want Ford out of the RT position but they'll either see progression or move him to guard and we'll hope they are correct.  No way you blow up the roster at this point.  It's continual incremental improvement at this point.  Add an impactful RT, WR, and DE and you've got a substantially better team IMO.

If he blames the previous admin it looks like an excuse. If he blames Beane, it strains relationships. If he blames himself, he looks incompetent.

I see it as a "we can collectively do better and need not be impulsive" statement.  It's not a papal decree.  Just a challenge to do better.

I like it to be honest. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.

I think the reason people dont like it is because we arent using it as a luxury.

Like...if this offense could show it can march up the field naturally without plays like this youd love it when it works.

Maybe Daboll doesn't believe this team can (?) which would be a shame.  However, I can believe that Daboll just went to the well one to many times and got slapped into reality regarding who should be running the ball.

Pre: I turn it on 2-3 minutes before kickoff.

Halftime show: I might watch just to see scores and highlights from other games, but I'm usually doing something else at the time.

Post: Nope. I turn it off as soon as it's over.

Then go to YouTube a few hours later and watch the 8-10 minute highlight clip put out by the NFL..........free of needless commentary.
