The easiest solution isn't the proper solution. The game should be finished for the sake of competitive integrity. The season still matters. At this point, several reasonable scenarios have been offered to get it played in the next two weeks.
Reasonable? There's nothing reasonable about the Bills or Bengals having to play a team coming off a bye.

I really wish they would just end any talk of this game being played. Make the Bills forfeit, call it a no-contest, whatever, but they have to move past this game.

Honestly the easiest solution is to just call Bills Bengals a no-contest. Sucks cuz it pretty much hands the Chiefs the 1 seed but eventually they need to just move on from this game.

if they don't do it ahead of the games then you give TERRIBLE optics on favoritism.
they can discuss it as an owners group - and they should all agree - and tell the teams without unveiling it - but there must be something set in stone.
There will be no solution that all 32 owners will agree on. Goodell and the NFL need to make a decision and go with it. I don’t really care if it negatively affects the Bills at this point, but they need to make some sort of decision sooner than later. -
I won’t group all Chiefs fans into what I read at Chiefs Planet…but a lot of the people on that board just seem like trash human beings.

Thats a bit how I see it. Separate the 2. The game was a no contest, it goes in the books as such. No need to replay it in any fashion. End of discussion.
But then you do have to figure out the playoff seedlings. Win percentage is one way and perfectly acceptable. But you do have to het KC and Baltimore (i think that is all) to agree to that. Or in my mind you do. A coin flip also does the same but it just involves the Bengals and Bills to determine the “winner” for seeding purposes.
The NFL doesn’t have to get KC and Baltimore to agree to anything. The decision for playoff seeding will be up to the NFL, they won’t consult KC or Baltimore at all. -
Call it a no contest, and use the conference win percentage to determine the #1 seed.

Wish we had one more receiving option for Allen, instead of a first round CB who barely plays.
Who would you have wanted to take at 23? The top 6 receivers were gone.

Probably won't be on the Bills radar due to other needs but Darnell Washington will be the best blocking TE in the league almost immediately. Dude is like having another tackle on the end of the line. He's a freak on the field as well and can catch the ball. Think he probably goes mid second round.

would rather see the Pats in the playoffs than the dolphins tbh
If we have home-field the Pats or Dolphins aren't beating the Chiefs in KC.

Not the best. Definitely looking really good the past few weeks, though. I figured Cook would slowly earn McD/Dorsey's trust, and he's showing he's up to the job.

It's fun to have a game that literally EVERYONE who watches the NFL has circled they want to watch. Hoping we get peak Prime Time Josh and come away with the win!

If the Pats win this weekend, I believe we can eliminate them next week if the Bills win Monday and play their starters week 18. That would be great, lockup home field and eliminate the Pats.

He was even trying something dirty on Chandler Jones the other week as well, it's just Chandler Jones caught it and completely emasculated Mac before he could try his bs trip
I watched C. Jones stiff arm Mac to the ground about 5 times in a row after it happened, was absolutely hilarious.

Apparently we never get the Mannings on our MNF games? Would much prefer their perspective over Aikman/Buck.DAMN. Would have loved to watch Manningcast for this game.

So much for the league upgrading their safety protocols.

This game sounded so boring on paper I couldn't even get myself to turn it on...checked the score and confirmed I haven't missed anything.

Fields is one of the worst passing QBs in the NFL. Just Rush 4 and keep contain and spy with Milano and/or Poyer.

If Frazier can coach our guys to just play disciplined, this should look a lot like how they defend Lamar Jackson. Rousseau and Shaq are great edge setters and perfectly suited to contain rush if they stay disciplined.
Yeah, the Bills D has done well against mobile QB's. But damn is Fields fast.

Might need 2 spies on him...the dude is super fast...faster than Lamar I think. Rush 3 and have split field spies, one of them being a DB.
I know his 40 time was slower than Lamar's by a tenth of a second, but play speed wise, Fields looks faster than Lamar.
Just rush 4 and spy him with 1. Fields has taken 46 sacks this season. No reason the Bills shouldn't be able to get to him 5 times on Saturday.

Let's take care of business and head into the playoffs on an 8 game win streak!

I mean, getting past the Chiefs is the goal, I can't stand having to hear about the 13 seconds because Frazier/McD decide to play 3 deep in that situation. Getting over that feeling would be great. I don't see anyone from the NFC being able to beat the Bills if they can get past the Chiefs.

You just love to see it. A Pats loss is the next best thing after a Bills win.

Won't be a playoff game, though.
