Bills need to copy the Chiefs moving forward.
Invest heavy on Offense. Hope Von can be our Chris Jones for the next two years when comes back and fill in with some good players/cheap contracts.
Chiefs Defense without Chris Jones is rough. They have some guys like Karlaftis (Rousseau), Bolton (Milano), McDuffie (Elam) etc.., but they rely on Spags to elevate them beyond what they are.
We have a defensive head coach.. if McD can't do that, he has no reason to be here.
Yeah but the Chiefs have an offensive genius as their HC.

There is just no creativity to his defense. It is so vanilla and non-aggressive. Players (especially LBs and DBs) just aren't put in a position to succeed.
-
Might need to take a step back in 2023 before going forward. Get rid of overpaid players, take the dead cap hit and retool the following year. Bills will still be in position to win the division in 2023 with Josh alone. But definitely give him some Oline and receiver help through the draft.

This loss wasn't that bad. They we're never really in it, and it was way better than losing the way they did last season.

Tomorrow can't come soon enough.

I like the aggressiveness of the deep shots vs. the Dolphins, a game they were never going to lose. I hope he picks and chooses his shots this week and mixes is shorter throws when appropriate.

Stat that is interedting
joe Burrow is 4-8 when sacked 4 or more times in a game
pin the ears back boys - go get him front 4
Be nice if Frazier dialed up some pressure for once.

One hundred percent. What's the point of rooting for a team if you don't believe they're going to win every game.

I worry that Rousseau has hit the wall this season. He didn't play football in 2021 and only started 15 games in college. Realistically he was never going to reach his full potential until year 3 but because of Miller's injury we've had to give him more snaps than we'd like the past few weeks. A weakened Rousseau and an uninspiring cast of pass rushers around him does not bode well for a 3 game run against championship caliber teams. But that's what we'll have to overcome.
Would help if Frazier decided to bring more than 4 at times. Seemed like every time the Dolphins were in 3rd and long he just dropped 7 instead of dialing up the pressure on the rookie QB.

Massive disparity in team health on Wednesday
Perhaps the Dolphins don't want to run out their long term pieces and risk further injury and start next season healthy? They're sending Skylar Thompson out at QB, I doubt they even think they can win this game.
-
Awesome! Win this week and get them out there for next week. No need to rush them back.
-
The players are not taking the Dolphins lightly, it is their job to go out and win. We as fans can talk about how bad of a beatdown the Dolphins are going to get all we want and it will have zero impact on how McDermott and the players prepare for the game.

He's my number 1 player we must re sign..
I felt him missing time impacted the D more than Poyer and way more than Oliver.
QB of the defense.
Need him back!
The Bills are undefeated this season in games Poyer has played.

I think those guys really came around on the Bills after the KC playoff game last year and Josh’s absurd performance.
Romo was going nuts last game over that throw to Diggs— which I think he may have said was the best throw this year (or maybe he said ever!?).
My biggest issue has always been Nantz. But Romo has made him tolerable.
They showed a rerun of the game last night and I turned it on, Romo was absolutely gushing over that throw (which was a dime.)

He could be. If I was the doctor clearing him tho, I'd be holding a rosary and saying some Hail Mary's during the game praying he doesn't get another concussion on a basic looking hit.
That's more of the thing for me...the Bills hit and the Packers hit were not major hits...you see QBs get hit like that at least 3-4 times a game on each team and very few of them end up with concussions from it. Seemingly Tua's concussion threshold is far lower than other QBs in that it takes far less for him to get one than most other QBs.
Exactly why I don't think he will be cleared. The doctor who cleared him to come back vs. Buffalo the first time got fired. I don't see a doctor wanting to put their reputation at risk by clearing a guy who could be 1 more concussion away from serious brain damage for all we know.

Tua hasn't even practiced and is in stage 2 or 3 of the protocol. He won't even be cleared to play by Sunday.

The Bears already committed to leaving the city...this is Lori Lightfoot trying to get them to stay to help her mayoral reelection bid.

The reason that Von Miller turned down a similar deal from The Rams and decided to sign in Buffalo was Joshua Patrick Allen. The guy admits in interviews he could have spent the rest of his career rushing next to Aaron Donald but turned down the defending Super Bowl Champions because of one reason who the Bills QB was.
Allens greatness allows Beane to sign whoever he wants on D.Alright, but Allen plays on offense, why aren't star offensive players knocking on the door to come play with him?

If they draft a TE make it Washington from UGA. Dude is like having another OT on the field and is a freak in the passing game. Hasn't got many targets cuz UGA has the best TE in the country sophomore Brock Bowers.
-
Should wait until he can walk onto the field...against the Bengals next week.

Doesn't matter who plays QB for the Dolphins. Bills are gonna roll.

If the docs somehow clear him, you know he’s playing. Maybe the docs are dolphins fans?
I actually think he plays.
If Tua plays, I DO NOT want to see him end up with his 4th concussion, but I do want to see heavy pressure applied to get him out of his rhythm. We’ll need to do a better job getting to the QB than we did today. Tua’s gonna get the ball out of his hands much quicker than Mac did.
The doctor who cleared him to continue playing the Bills game got fired. I don’t think many doctors want to risk their medical reputation on this guys brain. He hasn’t even practiced in like 3 weeks.- 1

Are we scared of Tua now?
I'm scared for what his living condition might be like in 10-15 years if he gets another concussion. Bills win if he plays or not, but really hope the safety of the player is looked after.

How many chances will McDermott get?

It would be one thing if they had improved upon each years performance, but they have regressed big time from last year.
