Always have options for freeing up capspace. Haven't even considered restructuring Diggs, White and cutting Star.
There is no reason to cut star. The cap hit is there whether he is on the team or not.

Mackenzie Alexander is a young solid CB. Could probably get him on a cheap 2yr deal. Played well with Minnesota and had a really good year last year with Cinncy.

whats his cap hit this year? wouldnt give up anything more than a 5th

Help more? Roberts is an All Pro returner
"help more as a WR". Roberts has done nothing as a WR, I didnt say anything about his returning.

If the Bills lose Roberts, and McKenzie, Beebe could come in as PR and help more as a WR than Roberts did. Hes a good route runner with good hands that could fill several rolls.

Beane is A cap guy from his background in Carolina. Overdorf assists him with contracts and is also a cap guy.
really? when was he their cap guy? Hes a communications major, finance is a big leap lol.

Is Overdorf still the Bills Cap guy? If so he deserves almost as much credit as Beane. Obviously its Beanes call on what guys to sign, but the cap guy comes up with the contract and most the negotiation with the agent.
Good to see the organization as a whole working together. Only took 20yrs

The best free agent signings is signing your own guys. This is good stuff

I am going to put this right up there with my dumbest comment list. Why in gods name would they rework his contract if they did not want him? with us having cap issues you take what you can get and Morse represents a solid trusted force at C.
what are you talking about? what does Morse have to do with my comment. I am talking about Milano... Now whose comment looks dumb.

It's funny that everyone sees Star was the "missing piece" from the D-line in 2020, when many wanted him cut in 2019!
Thats cause most dont understand his role on the dline. He will never have the stats. His role on D is basically to block/prevent Olineman from climbing to our LBs. Very hard to find a player willing to do such dirty work.

I forgot Lee Smith.
If Lee Smith is released or retires and Addison takes a cut we should already be around $25 million.
Diggs, White, and Dawkins could easily create nearly $20 million more with restructures.
Perfect. Diggs white and dawkins should be no brainers. They'd immediately get the majority of their 2021 salary while lowering their cap hit
-
Theyll redo a few more contracts to give players more upfront, but able to spread out thru the contract. Bills should end up with around 25-30mil come the start of FA
-
I dont think the Bills really want him, and feel that they can improve at his spot. My guess is he signs a 1yr 6-8mil deal somewhere cause the big money just isnt there.

There is 0 chance Milano gets more or same at David. Milano is looking at 7-10mil, and after and injury riddled season and the cap going down, hes probably going to get a 1yr prove it deal.
-
This could be a great pick up for them if he gets his head straight.
-
Is his replacement on the team. OR what about Denzel Perrymen from the Chargers. Or (havent seen his contract) Bills give up a pick for Shaq Thompson.

Peyton Mannings rookie contract was double what rookies get today. Guys like him are just fine with what they made.... As for Dak, if im Dallas i'm moving on. What has he accomplished with them?

great move by the colts, that Oline and that defense. That get another WR threat and they are legit AFC contenders.

Played in HS and now Coach at a top 200 HS in the country

guy has 26sacks in 5 seasons, no way in hell the bills should go after him. Hes done. Bills dont need to make a "Splash" fa signing.

The Bills were NFL worse at covering TEs last season. What are they going to do knowing they have to cover at least 2 verse the pats next year.
