    If he improves the Sabres just 3-4 more wins he’ll take the playoffs. I believe he can be that difference. He won’t make them worse.

     

    Is that the bar? Just make the playoffs?

    I like Ruff, I just think he had his run here and the Sabres should have tried another tough coach with no ties to Buffalo past.

    Those guys really do sacrifice their bodies. Remember Eral Campbell, the Oilers' monster running back? He ran over not around people.

     

    I don't think he was ever seriously injured in his playing days but by age 45 he was a physical wreck. He uses a wheelchair now.

     

     

    I've always been a Bills fan, but bought a #34 Oilers jersey  because of him as a kid. 

    He was brutal, humble & awesome!

    Kind of crazy how some of us old coots ( poster name play intended 😀) on this board remember a player & name vividly like this guy from 45+ years ago like it was only a few years ago.

Mitchell and Rice. Mitchell and McCaffrey. Franklin and another guy. Worthy and whoever. We just need to make sure JA17 has some quality options at WR outside of the ones we have now.

    Josh is our point guard! 

    Let him distribute & score when needed.

    I think Josh was forcing it to Diggs for a couple years at least to keep the yapping in control.

    I think when Brady came in there was a few games where Josh was throwing to who ever was open, running game working ...stick with it.The offense blossomed. Shakir, Cook, Kincaid etc... Diggs became cryptic again..

     

    Not comparing, but Brady won with basically scrubs at WR & RB. They just balled to whoever or what ever was working.

     

    I'm hoping this is the break through that the Bills achieve finally. Don't force it, spread it around. Josh is the greatest player we have, let him do his thing and he will make great moments for all of the offensive skill players. 

     

    You don't need a #1 receiver when you have a #1 QB.

    Of all the plays he made, the craziest one was getting ejected in his announced final game with Bills 2 minutes in.

     

    The refs just sucked the life out of what should have been a coronation for us watching on TV, on such an innocuous play on a punt. 

     

     Tasker has a case for  HOF special teams. Hopefully he gets in and we can laugh about that play now. Such a bummer at the time.

    What biggest draft pick trade move that happened all time? For who? We're the picks given up worth the players career production for that team?

    The Jets almost went receiver here, but Rodgers won't be able to hit those receivers if he's on his back.  Considered to be one of the top Tackles in the draft, Fashanu can step in and immediately protect Rodgers from opposing defenders.  Fashanu, unfortunately, cannot protect Rodgers from the MetLife turf.
