Maybe. It wasn't perfect. But we would not have made the playoffs without him. Against KC he schemed guys open & had them in a chance to win. Sherfield & Diggs dropping passes, not blocking long enough to get that pass to Shakir in the end zone or not dumping it to Diggs. None of that is on Brady. That's the players. I thought he did a great job coming in mid season. I bet he's even better with an off-season to plan. I vote we keep him, which means Jack sheet since they don't consult me. We need a young WR-1 most of all cause good players make good coaches.

Naw, took too long to adjust to the Kc adjustments, to many stalled drives and only 7 points in the second half. We need better…

Which is why having Bernard and Benford would’ve added little to the overall picture. The healthy DL was dominated. We weren’t getting a player back that pressures Mahomes consistently enough to force him into mistakes. They couldn’t stop the run, they couldn’t rush the passer. It was a bad night for that unit.

it may have made a difference on Kelce early on, it would have been nice to have Bernard, he has also applied pressure to qb’s in the past.

Lol. Obviously, your dislike for him outweighs sensibility. Your post is ridiculous.

As usual anyone could come up with a better response and analysis than you could provide. You probably think Purdy is an amazing qb. I didn’t say Mahomes isn’t a great qb, just he didn’t do anything special last night. He didn’t need to. The running game and pass protection gave him everything he needed to have a comfortable night. Tell us 5 special plays he pulled off that were game changing requiring hall of fame skills? You can’t and you won’t. Oh and tell me how many drops did he have? Two less drops for Allen an Mahomes goes home a loser.

The KC offense played uncharacteristically well tonight. I don’t think a single receiver had a drop. MVS pulled in some great passes, especially the one against Taron up the sideline. The most penalized tackle in the league, Juwaan Taylor, didn’t have a single penalty all night. No false starts, holding, illegally downfield, nothing. And Mahomes made the Bills pay almost every time by finding the open player.

That middling offense which was the worst in Mahomes tenure, looked anything but middling. They looked like a well coached machine. Part of that was due to our injuries, the other part was just rising to the occasion and refusing to be stopped all night, aside from the one punt. They had another gear our defense couldn’t match and I’m not sure they would’ve matched it with a healthy Benford and Bernard.

Don’t kid yourself, it was 100% us having a shell of a defense. Mahomes had one long run and was a game manager hitting wide ope receivers all night. Little to no pressure, all day to wait for someone to come open.

McDermott is secured for another season because he led us to the 2nd seed and we won another Wild Card playoff game.

His future beyond that depends on next season.

Anyone including ownership that thinks things will be different next year is delusional.  This is what you get with McDermott , nothing more sometimes less.

Mahomes deserves the accolades. He went into Buffalo and beat the Bills. To imply or diminish this accomplishment is kind of crazy. Mahomes led his team to victory if that includes a Pacheco so be it.

Mahomes showed the football world why he's the best QB on the planet. What Josh did is an afterthought because his team lost. He will be answering upcoming questions about why he and his team can't sustain consecutive playoff wins. The ghost is appearing on his back. The elephant is in the room.

Home run. The silence tells you all you need to know.

The same people will be ramming the McD walks on water narrative come next season. Denial runs deep.

Mahomes showed he can hit wide open wide recievers and not much more. Not that impressive of a showing vs a decimated defense.

I just don't undertand why Allen is trying to throw into the endzone with 2 minutes left. That doesn't win you the game. You take the short pass for a FD to Diggs and you work the Chiefs TOs and clock and try to score with about 45 seconds left to take a 4 point lead.

McDermott should go. I've said it for 2 years. His defense isn't beating any elite QB in the postseason.

2nd and third down were the worst designed plays . If we are stuck with McDermott than get a good OC. Look what it’s done for baltimore.
