Our biggest problem on defense is we don't have any dynamic pass rushers. I don't see Miller, Rousseau or Epenesa reaching 10 sacks. Our Lb's will have to play out of their minds.
Lack of pressure could doom the Db’s, but it won’t be their fault. Can’t expect them to hold up forever.

Somehow, the work Rookie seems to have lost its meaning.
I think Coleman is the one rook who could be used effectively fairly quickly in certain specific packages but he’s not going out there and starting. The DBs in general are potentially going to be sorely lacking in cohesiveness, especially at the start of the season. We could be trying to play catch up in a lot of games which our O doesn’t seem it will be built for.
The DB’s are pretty much the same as las year except losing two old has beens. The speed of Cole will make up for his inexperience. More worried about the d line than the d backs.

I put the over/under at 50 for the number of times during the season we hear McDermott say we have a young team while playing week 17 in the hope they make the WC.
If Rodgers stays healthy the Jets are winning the division. They will have a favorable schedule and added OL pieces to help protect Rodgers. Their defense is formidable. Patriots suck and Dolphins will unravel this year.
Rodgers wasn’t that great two years ago, not that worried he’s gonna be a giant savior . Defense didn’t play well down the stretch either if i remember correctly. The only thing they got going for third place schedule.

I think that it will be tough for Van Pran-Gran to unseat McGovern. But if he does...
It’s not about unseating McGovern if he is better somewhere else on the line. It’s not McGovern going to the bench, it’s about putting the 5 best lineman on the field. This very well be Mcgovern at center but it may not.

Lol...I don't feel like arguing as I'm trying to be positive. Just will list dispassionate stats.
Andre never had back to back 1000 yard seasons. He was a great great player. Tough and excellent run after catch.
But what Diggs did in his four years here was better than any WR in Bills history. His reception totals per season are the four highest. He had the top two yards in a seson and 4 of the top 12. Andre's top yards in a season were 5th and 6th and those are the only two in the top 12.
Of course Andre did it longer. Different era. Rice Brown Irvin and several others of his contemporaries were as good or better. Yada yada yada
They are both great and I'm still sad Diggs is gone
I'm moving on though
Go Bills
The game has changed a lot since Andre played. Andre now would have matched Diggs production especially with Allen. The bills were more balanced back then too I believe with Thurman.

Agree 100% if we come into that game healthy I believe we keep KC from scoring over 20 points and probably win that game
Just imagine if we were healthy and KC had our injuries how the game would have went.🤔🤔🤔

So you’re saying we’ll trade him for yet another fifth round pick?
Everybody’s highlight reel is impressive. That’s the point.
No *****, It’s the abilities he consistently showed of breaking tackles and the vision he displayed.

I mean KC could've selected Coleman, right?
Then we probably go Legette or the next big bodied receiver. It’s very apparent the Bills valued size and hands over speed. The little twitchy guys have not done exceptionally well here with Allen.

His athletic testing was not 😬 Good vision can overcome a lot of that though!
Had great vision and broke tackles, I think it will be interesting to see him play, should get lots of looks in pre season.

It's a cut throat business. They cut players all the time. Why get mad at a player for essentially cutting the team?
I’ll give you 30 million reasons 🤦♂️

Those are just dropped passes. Coleman had 115 catches on 192 targets in college. That's under 60% catch percentage.
What was his drop percentage

Absolutely not. We walked away with Coleman only in the deepest wr draft in history which we desperately needed. I hope Beane and McDermott are fired after missing the playoffs this year
Beane put us in this situation where he had to grab a number of average players instead of using picks to improve our draft position. McDermott has crapped his pants a number of times and rightfully should be on the hot seat having wasted 7 years of Josh Allen with nothing to show. Ownership loves these guys so i wouldn’t expect much too happen.

Am I getting this right? For the low, low, low price (actual cost: zero) of flipping picks with Carolina, the Bills received a cheap and cost-controlled highly experienced center from the best team in the country who may well start from day one.
The cost is only if Legette outperforms Coleman.

And KC won with a 2nd round rookie Rashee Rice as their lead WR.
Their defense is a better than ours, and Pacheco appeared to be more effective when needed than Cook. Point taken, but Rice showed up when needed, unlike Diggs and Davis.

Shakir replaces Diggs
Coleman replaces Gabe
Samuel replaces Shakir Yr1
Then you have Kincaid and Knox
Backups Hollins, Isabella
Can Shakir handle that load and responsibility? A lot to ask for Diggs in his prime, not so much the second half of last year.

No. Granted they can still try to do something before the season starts but this draft was a huge missed opportunity for a front office that ALWAYS talks itself into addressing offense some future year. Always. These guys have rules in their heads.
Along the way to the Super Bowl, two of the league’s tougher defenses couldn’t stop Kc. I think the offense especially the receiver position deserved better attention. Time will tell.

Dalton Kincaid
Curtis Samual
Khalil Shakir
Keon Coleman
Mack Hollins
Justin Shorter - 5th round pick
KJ Hamler - 3rd
Andy Isabella - 2nd
Nothing but questions after the first 4. Are you comfortable with this group for a super bowl run?
-
With all the offseason moves, and adding just Coleman in the draft, did we do enough or will Beane look to trade or add a free agent after Trey’s money frees up?
I for one can’t believe we are finished, how about you?

Why is that?
Bass isn't going anywhere. Had a rough season, but isn't going to get cut.
Probably because so many kickers consistently make 50+ yarders and a few have been hitting 60. Bass is a 40+ kicker and we lose 3-9 potential pts a game. Now he’s not even consistent below 50. It’s frustrating.

I think he’s trying to submarine McDermott so he can replace him next year😬 Can’t pick heavy offense with McClappy in the room.

He could've gone earlier. This board is WR spellbound in a negative way. Having said that, draft some freaking WR's in a WR rich draft.

Bishop will be an upgrade, Rapp played a lot of downs, Benford was a starter Douglas is an upgrade over white. Jackson is easily replaceable . Mcdermott could not of screwed Elam up worse, hopefully he actually works with the kid and gets something out of him. He’s flashed enough to show coaching decisions have been harmful. They could choose to add to this group after June 1st and probably should in case of injury. the starting group is more than capable.
