  1. Well then you will get most of what you want, not the wins of course but you won't have to worry about them ever getting angry over a loss. You see, you actually have to give a damn to lose your temper. Apathetic players simply cashing their checks won't lose their temper, not even in the immediate aftermath of a heart breaking loss.

All that focus will be great come Tuesday morning but if you can lose a big game one minute and sip tea with the queen the next, then you just don't care.

Of course I want them to win dipstick. But if they lose with such aplomb, such grace, such indifference, then they aren't going to win much. In the glory years, when they lost, you didn't want to be in that lockeroom. These guys, losing is just how they roll now isn't it? No need for anyone to get upset and offend your sensibilities. Heaven fofend that we appear to be immature.

You must really enjoy 7-9 and watching them get their a$$e$ handed to them by the Patriots every year.

One question, have you never seen a guy go over the line, even draw a flag, a foul, a technical, whatever, and have it motivate a team that appeared to be sleepwalking? Exactly and that's all I'm saying.

It is amazing you were never a pro athete...

I have to ask have you ever coached? I am asking. I wont assume you havent.

I do coach. Not football. But I coach a very sucessful high school team that is ranked in the top 5 in our state. At no point would I want any of my players to lose their temper and go off the way that you describe.

I want them to care and play with passion. But what you are describing is pure lunacy... Would the team in the 90s accept losing. I dont remember them turning into idiots after losing 4 superbowls. And take a long look at the two rosters. The difference wasnt heart. It was talent. That team in the 90s was so superior it is ridiculous.

But hey if you want to coach lunatics go right ahead. Go into coaching and teach em cheap shots and throwing chairs and then let me know how sucessful you are. And when they dont win question their hearts because it has nothing to do with ability or coaching...

Which players in particular are sipping tea with the queen or dont care. You should confront them and question them on their toughness. See what they say. If you care so much as a fan throw a damn chair at them. See if you survive..

    Good Luck.

  2. Apart from all the x's and o's and how we do on the filed and on the scoreboard, what I am looking for is a sign that this team has changed. When they lose a game, I want to see some locker room rage, helmets bashing in to walls, angry men yelling at eachother, etc. I want nasty, bitter post game press conferences after a loss, not all this gracious loser, corporate PR stuff about how "we need to play better" and "we need to work harder" I want to see Jauron curse out an official. I want to see some personal fouls, maybe even an ejection or two. Some cheap shots, some fines, some sign that this team has some fire.

We have been the Boy Scouts of the NFL for too long. I want a sign from this team that they hate losing, deep in their guts flat out hate, hate, hate, hate losing. I hope TO gets in peoples faces from the start, including the coaches.

You want them to lose and be enraged.. To the point where they lose their composure and make matters worse by taking personal fouls and penalties...

Why dont you want them to win?

I want them to win. And if they lose. I want them to focus on how to get better and winning not throw a 3 year old temper tantrum.

  3. Probably because this site is full of douche nozzle 1-uppers that have nothing better to do than post 100 times a day, and blast the posters who don't keep up with their "expert" posts and opinions.

Some of you guys need to get a life (for example: Dean, Sage, VABills). Try dating women, getting a job, or doing something constructive with your time other than controlling your small little TSW world.

This sight should be about having fun. Not listening to nerds peel back everyone's posts ask for links, correct grammar, and talk about knowing a guy who knows a guy, like you are someone important. If you are dropping 100 posts a day, then you probably don't know anyone besides the people on this sight, and comic book heros.

This isn't a high school debate. We are all Bills fans. Get a life.

    Douch Nozzle 1 uppers...

Wow. That is fantastic.. I will use that today. Good Stuff. Bravo.

  4. People who complain the Bills don't pay enough for free agents should take note of this case. Here the Bills are offering more and wil likely miss out. If Pisa is only signing a one-year deal, you would think he'd want to go somewhere he'll be a starter so he can showcase himself for next year.

    PTR

So a guy with a contract offer in hand from the Bills is taking this long because he MUST REALLY want to play for us.

  5. I wasn't being sarcastic. Lynch was I believe the 3rd or 4th reserve to the pro bowl. Peters was the only other guy the last few year to make the pro bowl. We have no pro bowl players on this roster.

    [/quote

Well thank you for restating my point. The entire paragraph was meant to be sarcastic.

  6. http://www.buffalonews.com/opinion/columns...ory/677981.html

Sullivan's column would appear to refute any rumors about Mr. Wilson's cognitive state, wouldn't you say?

Let me say that was an excellent article from Jerry Sullivan. I am not a big Sully fan but he did a great job with that one. He seems to have a knack for writing obit tribute articles. 8 years ago when a friend of mine passed he wrote an amazing tribute that I still have on my fridge. Nice job Sully!!

  7. The difference with those teams isn't that they practice inside or outside.

The difference is they have great players.

But Tim with the likes of all these "potential" ProBowl players how is it that the Bills havent won every SuperBowl in the last 10 years? I mean it must be because they dont want it bad enough right? or that we dont practice outdoors? or that our coaching stinks? or that insert excuse here? Sorry. I will stop with my sarcasm.

When you look at the talent level in Buffalo from a player standpoint and from a coaching standpoint could you rank us in comparison to the rest of the NFL. For example- The Bills offense as it stands is 20-25 in the league or something to that effect.

I believe that many fans on this site as would be expected vastly overrate the Bills and put unrealistic expectations on the team with so many variable question marks. I see a team that has taken a few steps forward but a team that is still not playoff ready. What is your take?

  8. Their defense didn't win that game. Ours lost it.

Holding that offense to 19 points was absolutely ridiculous.

No current team in the NFL could stack up to that team and I include my hometown Colts in that statement. Like him or not the gameplan that the Giants put together for that game was brilliant.

Sorry. Continue with your hatred of the cheater. I will leave the dead horse by the door...

  9. Classic.

    No this was classic..

"Word came in from BMW driving friends that our first pick is probably going to be a QB, if the one we want is available. We have no real backup and can groom a good one for when we're ready to win. T.O. was a marketing stunt to sell the seats that we're cancelled and the teams management is under no delusion of defeating many on our schedule or division this year. The AFC east is going to be the toughest place to play this year and after finishing last last year, that's where we'll stay.

I expect to get crucified for bringing this to the table but then again I am the anti-Christ."

  10. I'm just sharing what my insiders tell me. Larsen ... then Sheldon Jackson ... then Sape.

No Norwegian has ever been placed before a Samoan... Ever... But I am just pretty happy that you were kind enough to indulge the ridiculousness of the Lauvale Fan club for a few moments.

  11. I think the selection committee needs to correct the injustice of Leif Larsen not being in the Hall before they can induct Sape.

You seriously dont want to anger the Lauvale Sape fan club and its 9 on the fence members.. We are a very powerful group of people....
