  1. So cut cut cut.

Cut Evans, cut Stroud... So we can use the money elsewhere. HAHAHAHAH... We really broke the bank last year. Oh wait.

Bills have whacked money and dumped salary by getting rid of players. Name the big time player we brought in to replace any of the guys we got rid of? The Bills were 25 million under the supposed cap. Do you think the Bills are going to open the check book up and sign some players? NO! Keep dreaming. It is not going to happen. So wave good bye to Donte Whitner. 25 years old. Because why? Because "WE" can save 2 million dollars that we wont spend anywhere else. Is Whitner amazing? No. Is he solid. Yes. How many holes do the fans want to create? This strategy of creating holes by dumping players has worked so well we will be drafting 3rd. congrats! So yeah. Lets cut Evans, let Donte leave... So we can draft a defensive back or Wide Receiver. Still have the same crap front 7 and the same crap offensive line. Still have the same mediocre QB. But yeah. Lets whack away and cut the few half decent players we have. We have so many to begin with. Oh wait. Thats right. New England and the Jets just embarassed us. Espn announcers laughing at us for that performance yesterday on SportCenter. They didnt need Sanchez. They didnt need Sanchez to play becasue they knew their backups would destroy the Buffalo Bills.

So the saving money to spend later strategy is a joke. Cheer for another team that actually employs that strategy if you are going to keep saying I would rather save the money. First of all. It is not your money. Is Ralph going to write you a check to go buy some drapes at Walmart? No. Sorry.. Is Ralph going to lower your tix prices because he spent less? Nope. Saved 25 million and had you guys cheering him on.

So can we leave Lee Evans alone and maybe embrace Donte Whitner. Unline most of the rest of the players in the NFL they actually want to play in Buffalo. They are actually wanting to stay and try and right the ship. They are not the Superstars that you want them to be. They are good football players and like I mentioned. We dont have very many good football players.

  2. Ban people for insulting our resident journalists? I guess. That's one way to deal with the inevitable issue of rude people on an opinion-founded forum based website. Whatever happened to people having thick skin? I'm sorry but if people ignore the trolls long enough they wont get a rise out saying stupid stuff and will then leave on their own.

In every other city in the country it is just being civil. Bullying should no longer be accepted.

  3. I realize you were trying to get worked up...but you really didn't make a point here. I realize that if I had a website it wouldn't be on par with ESPN. I'm not sure what that has to do with me saying that if you're a supposed upper-class member of the boards because you're a journalist, you should be able to ignore people who post things you don't like.

No its not. And I'm sure that people will cite back to this as one of the defining moments of TBD going downhill.

Personally I never clicked on the Tim Graham thread.

    Or...

The defining moment where TBD became great again.

Its time to take out the trash.

  4. The owner of the website established the policy, not me, although I agree with it. Why? Because both of them came here as a favor to us. They didn't need to do that.

And if you'd bothered to read what Tim wrote, he walked away because he got sick of people taking shots at his friends, not himself.

    Then ban the offenders.

  5. If people get out of line warn them. Then ban them.

You want Tim Graham back make a bold statement that things are going to be different.

The commisioner of the NFL is suspending players left right and center. Maybe we need to do the same thing here to restore the peace.

  6. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...-to-the-eagles/

If the Redskins were offering Albert to the Eagles why not call the redskins and offer our 2nd round pick for Haynesworth. He has already been paid a big chunk of his bonuses. He is due 12 million a year for the next 6 years. It would solve a big area of need while keeping our 9th pick. Haynesworth is 29 I believe and we know that DTs can play into thir mid 30s.

It would be a big piece of the defensive puzzle.

  7. Okay they wanted 1 good player but still drafted how many ****ty players??????

So in that same year they had to chose between Flutie and RJ. The choose RJ yet they wanted Brees. They may have liked Brees but I have to call BS on this. You want Brees so bad. You take him in the first round keep Flutie instead of playing the lets get value game with draft picks. Marv wanted Brett Favre too apparently but we already had Jimbo... blah blah blah.. If they were all so SURE they would have made the pick earlier... I bet someone wanted Tom Brady in the 5th round as well but didnt pull the trigger.

Listen I believe that the Bills brass wanted Benny Boy in Pittsburgh. They tried trading with everyone before he was taken with no luck. Having a chance and passing... Well. Then shut up about it. Plus Brees would have been run out of Buffalo years before getting it as a QB. Hell SD ran him out and picked Rivers because they were so frustrated witH Brees...

  8. I could take a dump in a cup and name it head coach and half the board would B word and half the board would find a way to justify it. This is what the wonderboy counts on.... Markets the Marv Levy clone approach.. You see.. Gailey is the same age as Marv kinda like Jauron was an IVY league guy.... Blah Blah Blah... Name anyone for headcoach and this board would have the same damn posts...

  9. You forgot to offer getting on your knees in front of him every day that he coaches the Bills.

Man the begging is hitting embarrassing new heights.

You also forgot your children will be harrassed at school.

You will have a limited budget to work with.

You will field calls from the owner every day sometimes twice.

You will have your lawn torched after a bad decision.

You will have billboards on the highway demanding your dismissal.

You will have one of your home games played on a neutral site.

You can make suggestions but on draft day Ralph Wilson makes the final call.

You will have a new owner to work for in less than 2 years most likely.

  10. Tell that to Jerry Jones.

It took Jerry a long time to figure **** out and that was after hiring a football guy in Parcells that found a franchise undrafted QB like Romo. Jerry also found a way to screw up one of the all time great teams. The Cowbows of the early 1990s should have won 5 Superbowls. They won 3 and were such a talented team they won their 3rd with Barry Switzer as the coach.

  11. One of the best owners in the league is Jim Irsay. He is actually not a very smart football guy. He is just a fan. Smart enough to know he doesnt know **** about putting a team together. Irsay stays the hell out of Bill Polian's way and does what Bill Polian says. I dont believe he was fully on board with the decision to not go for perfection but Bill Polian makes the decisions and Irsay listens no matter what. Irsays father was Ralph Wilson type who meddled. The Colts sucked and sucked big time. Yes you spent a billion dollars to buy the team and you can do whatever you want... But Enjoy losing because Owners that try and play fantasy football generally lose.

  12. I've stopped watching the national media b/c they are all (save for Berman) insidious elites who spew anti-bills vitriol!

I find it interesting how angry Bills fans get at the media. The last 10 years the media has had something against us.... I guess the fact that they have been correct about our leadership and our team not being good enough the past ten years means absolutely nothing...... They are still idiots right because they didnt spew a love fest on a team that hasnt made the playoffs in ten years? How we didnt have 23 probowlers with this 6-10 team is criminal..

  13. Where is the link to this? Oh yeah I forgot you do not have one because you just made it up. I can not wait until Manning retires & see all the fairweather Indy Colt fans balk at paying all those high ticket prices in that overpriced oil can you guys call a stadium. Enjoy Manning now, because is not going to play forever & as bills fans could attest to, it is not that easy to replace a franchise qb. Without manning this year, the Colts are a 6-10 team.

Wow.. At least I wont be bitter and angry and hateful.

And I will enjoy Peyton Manning for how ever many years he has left.

In terms of high ticket prices I am on the 45 and I pay 64 bucks a seat.

And I fully understand the difficulty of replacing a franchise QB. Not many teams have had 2 hall of fame QBs. The Colts have if and only if you count Johnny Unitas.

  14. Yep, Dungy's so great that as soon as he left, his team is going to go undefeated to the SB being coached by the bus driver.

Dungy has famously struggled to maximize the potential of teams absolutely loaded with talent. What can he do for the Bills?

He would never take the job--why would he tip over the house of cards that his reputation is built on?

This is a pretty dumb post. I have made several myself but this is pretty damn dumb.

You are right that he would never take the job. The man leaves the most ideal situation last year to do other things. You honestly believe Tony Dungy says.. Yeah I am really tired of coaching that Peyton Manning guy. I wish I could go to a place where the owner meddles, the management is piss poor and my QB is a Ryan Fitzpatrick? Polian has told Dungy that Buffalo is not a place where he can be successful. The Bills would be damn lucky to get him. Damn Lucky.
