If Allen would have reeled in that TD catch yesterday it would have been an all timer.
Wouldn't that have been cool? I would have gone nuts.

BTW the over-turned catch the last minute vs. the Dolphins was classic Zay. He made a good play and then bobbled it and it hit the ground.
It was also defensive pass interference that was not called.

I like the "Slap Shot" reference.

Lofton when asked what McD would do at midfield: "This is the coach who wasted 45 seconds and wanted to kneel three times"
He was talking about himself.

I continue to believe that the team fully intended to keep Cory Carter as their punter before he got hurt.
Agreed, I said that earlier as well.

That carter kid in preseason was punting it real well. It sucks that he got hurt in a meaningless preseason game on a meaningless play. Would have probably only needed 1punter all year if he didn’t get rolled up on
I agree, I think Cory Carter was your opening day starter if he didn't get hurt. Then, they have had to scramble.

Wow, just wow.

Wow. what nice blocks.

I like Daboll on the sideline. KB fighting it, I feel bad.

Looking forward to watching him play. He was considered the front runner to back up Dalton before hurting his knee. I am hoping he shows decent "backup skills" and go with him and Josh the rest of the year. IR Derek, keep him around on the sideline and QB room for the season, and send "Peterson" to PS. One and two set for next year, bring in a late draft pick or an UDFA for PS, and QB is set for 2019/2020.
Of course, it hinges on Josh's improvement, but this what I had hoped for, and now he rests for two weeks. -
Because you're a Bills fan! That's why I go. ?

I enjoyed his interview, seems like a good guy and teammate. I think he just finished eating something before they started talking to him.

Ok, and we knew he would take time to learn back BEFORE he was drafted. Why do the expectations change? Right now he is as advertised. Since we drafted him we have:
Given him 3rd and 2nd team reps mostly in TC and preseason
Not upgraded anything on offense to support a very inexperienced rookie
Given him a QB coach in Culley that before last year hadn't coached QBs since the 80s.
Have him play behind a Castillo led oline.
Had we moved up for Darnold or taken Rosen instead I truly believe neither one would look any better in this offense. We Will have a much better feel for what we have in Allen about 8 games into next season.
Let the kid get all the 1st team reps in the off season. Let him hold some private workouts with newly signed receivers and get timing and trust down. He may sink or he may swim, but calling him a failure this soon after knowing he would take time is just idiotic.
Thank you.- 2

Josh Allen in his presser: “I care about letters. I care about the W’s. I don’t care how ugly the stats look, if we’re out on top, that’s all I care about. Guys who pass for 400 yards and 6 TD and lose, it’s still a loss at the end of the day.”
I’m with Josh
And I am with you Hapless. The Kid has 4.5 games under his belt. Would have been nice to have all the number one reps in training camp, but here we are. He is learning, you can see it, and Derek Anderson will be a nice addition to help him.

From practice squad to starting corner. Wow.
He was on the 53 the first week, but yes, this is true.

I love that he worked on his game after his season ended and played well in the Senior Bowl while cleaning up some of his "issues". I love how he worked through the Summer at camp and rarely made the same mistake multiple times. I LOVED how he took the brunt of the criticism of his last pre-season game upon himself.
He is not Carr, Wentz, or Mahomes, everyone's background and make-up is different. Play the Kid, I believe he is special.
Regarding the throw to Foster, did he follow through completely, or did he take a shot in the chest as soon as he released? -

Allen did under throw the ball, but still close enough to give his play maker a shot in my humble opinion Sky.
In the pouring rain...
...and taking a shot in the chest with no follow through.

Do you believe anything you say ? Everytime I read one of your posts I put on a Smiths album and cut myself. I love the consistency of doom and paranoia in each one.
So good.

I would have preferred to have been "pixylanded."

Every day, pretty much on the hour.

Numminen?
So good.

Bully Jonathan Martin?
Outstanding.

Not sure what I think. I am sure they brought in guys though since Friday and also he is one of the best holders ever in my opinion.
Ball Security Not all that Important to Josh Allen
