Why is he concerned about money? Because everyone should be ... always.
That question utterly and totally misses the point. It's like asking, which do you want, to be rich or to save money?
The answer should be both. Saving money is one of the main things that leads to being rich. Same as handling your cap space smartly and frugally is one of the main things that leads to consistently being competitive for Super Bowls.
ScottLaw was totally right. The guy he quoted was implying we couldn't hypothetically sign Golladay to a big contract because we had to pay the guys like Edmunds and Allen. Those guys just finished their 2nd year. The Bills have the rights to those guys for another 3 years. Milano and Dawkins aren't going to break the bank. This "cap hell" some people worry about is a total exaggeration. The Bills for 2020 currently have 1 player with a cap hit of 10 million or more. The Chiefs have 8 and still have to pay Mahomes. I guess they should have cancelled the Super Bowl parade. I remember 5 years ago when everyone said the Saints were in "salary cap hell". What happened? There's no prize in the NFL for doing the most while spending the least. The Bills have plenty of money to spend.

Why are you worried about things 3-4 years down the road?
Whats more important a Super Bowl victory or cap space?
I was gonna say. Guy is worried about some people we don't have to pay for years.

Stevie wasn't one of the best Bills during the drought??? Really??? He was the only WR in the league who can say the consistently beat Revis in his prime yet he doesn't even make the Bill's best list during the drought? Riiiiiight...
He was definitely one of the better players during the drought. Three consecutive 1000 yard seasons on terrible Bills offenses is no small feat.

Ralph Wilson came to me in a dream last night. He said let Tre play out his contract and then franchise him.

3 pages and Thurman is not here defending PFF. Unusual.

I dislike the front office guys and the coaches more so then the players. Up until this new regime, the Bills have been a laughing stock of a franchise. Mickey mouse weight room, poor facilities, terrible coaching, cheap front office/ownership etc.

I think we'll miss the leadership more then anything.

I don't know how a QB who plays in the SEC, throws 60 TD's and beats 7 top 10 teams isn't the best prospect in the draft.

Only reason he would go is Jones is a superior prospect to Allen. Guy looked pretty special this season.

Was never a big Daboll fan because of some of the personnel groupings he uses and some of his situational calls but when you dissect this offense, we're leaving a lot of plays on the field that should be positive plays. Mainly because of Josh missing them and some poor execution.

Houston's so streaky. Hope we catch them on a down week because when they're hot, they're a pretty tough opponent. Much rather play them then KC at KC though. That's a no brainer.

I think the one Watt attempted on Josh that just barely missed was even more "vicious." A direct hit on the ball with that punch move is going to dislodge it the majority of the time.
That was so scary. If he hits that ball direct, it's coming out.

PFF is garbage for QB's. Absolute trash.

It would be great if Steelers played mostly their backups. That would be an easy win. Oh wait........

IMO he was wrong to say what he said, didn't apologize, and basically said "well I said it because...that's what I say". Consequences.
If you are calling someone dumb...that likely would be offensive to most people.
I don't think he's including the person he's calling "dumb".

I've thought that Josh seems less amped up in some of those road games. He's just too jacked in some of the home games.
And as much as he knows he can't play Hero Ball, he plays hero ball for the hometown fans too, too much...
My uncle and I were saying the same thing yesterday. He gets too pumped up when he plays at home.

and yet we are talking about the Grades of an All-22 on this ONE game. See how asinine you sound
I'm talking about how that projects on his season and what kinda of player he will be in the future. You're talking about 1 game in the context of a season. See how asinine that is? We can go back and talk about good games Demetrius bell and Kirk Chambers had too if you want.

Again just showing you in this ONE game because that is what Matters in this discussion the grading of THIS game.
Ford did EXACTLY the same as Dawkins 1V1 against Miller, please realize that.
In one game. No one cares about one game. It's over. It's about a season of work.

Nope just showing 1v1 he played as well as our LT.
You take that how you want.
I am sure you are on of the ones that wanted Glenn kicked into OG, Wanted Dawkins kicked into OG or off the team last year as well.
Now you're making stupid assumptions. I never said any of that. I do think Ford is a Guard and not a tackle though. Dawkins is a superior player to Ford. Because Dawkins gave up a sack to Miller and Ford didn't, in 1 game, is almost meaningless. Please realize that.

No, but using your reasoning he would be.

Ford faced Miller 10 times 1v1 and surrendered 1 Pressure.
Dawkins faced him 1v1 11 times and surrendered 1 pressure and 1 sack.
OOO No he had help as a rookie against an ALL PRO. Yeah still did his job in those 20 2v1 as well.
Ok great. Is he better then Dawkins? No, he absolutely is not. That's why we don't base how good a player is off 1 game.

So can someone tell me how an All 22 comes out on Tuesday and this has happened for roughly 40-45 players and He has it out less than 24 hours later?
I for example to grade an OL on one specific play it will take at least 3-4 reviews of that play. Need to watch the entire offense to see what the play is, then the QB to see how Protection is set, then the OL to see what the blocking scheme is, Then Finally can get the look at the player... (of course that only matters if you are truly breaking the film and the play down.
He was left alone 10 plays and gave up Zero Sacks. 1 Pressure.
Ok and he had 20 passing snaps where he had help. All it takes is getting beat 1 or 2 times and it can change a game. How long did Josh hold the ball on those other 9 snaps? Was Miller rushing the passer on all those snaps? Ford is a average to below average RT right now. I'm glad he held his own in limited responsibility but that doesn't change that much.

Most are just reacting to the pump the brakes on Cody Ford vs Von Miller love headline. Ford did his job whether it was 1 v 1 or 2 v 1 is irrelevant. He played a part in shutting down one of the best in game, so that in turn deserves some love.
I think Joe's right. Ford has a long way to go. I'm glad he had help on Miller. If left alone, it probably would have been a disaster. This is the NFL. It's constant critiquing.

Man, we have some thin-skinned fans.

Would you give our 2020 1st rd pick to the Lions for Kenny Golliday?

I'm definitely not for being one of those teams that give out a ton of bad contract to FA's but the Bills can no doubt sign their own guys and sign a Premier FA or 2.
