I was really surprised anyone gave him a contract in the offseason. I thought he'd get signed midseason after he was a little healthier.

Boogie was a guy without a position, too small for DT and no rush skills for DE.
Agreed. Still one of the most head scratching picks, along with Elam.

Tre's toast. I was surprised anyone signed him that early in the offseason. His age with two major injuries at that position is tough.

He had very little production in college because he had Anthony Richardson throwing to him.
In some games Richardson couldn't hit the broadside of a barn.
Not true, but that's ok.

If you watched hom in college you would have known this woukd be the result. He was brutal at Fl . Im a Gator fan and when we drafted I busted out loud and laughed. 5 star bust. Went to Penn st. Left. Was even worse with the Gators. Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane.
100%. When they took him in the 5th, I was very surprised. He hasn't been good since High School. It was even more perplexing to see people on this board talking him up, like he was going to be a factor this year.

Flores actually had more success than most
Weiss, McDaniels, and Mangini all got two chances to be head coaches and sucked
Flores only one chance and got fired with a winning record.
What is the difference between those four people? One is not like the others....
One cried racism and sued? Is that the answer?

Flores is the typical Belichick assistant who becomes a HC. They think they're a lot better than they are.

The fact that we are two weeks prior to the season kicking off and there's a "receivers the Bills could go after" thread is so infuriating, and so predictable.
The loudness and ferocity with which I was called a negative Nellie and told not to doubt Brandon Beane back in May. And here we sit.
Failing some miracle trade, we're very likely looking at Mack Hollins being counted on as a starting outside receiver in week 1 of the season. If you think that constitutes anything but criminal roster mismanagement by Brandon Beane, then I don't know what to tell ya.Imagine being the GM and these are the guys you surround your generational QB with. What a total joke.

Virtually ALL rich people pay taxes, and pay a lot. There are strategies they use to lower how much they pay, but they still pay a boat load of taxes no matter what they do, unless they are breaking the law. Well, those who break the law, rich or poor, need to be held accountable. For sure.
The rich pay most of the taxes and then get told by people who pay very little that, they're not paying enough or their "fair share". I'm honestly for a flat tax rate. It's funny how "equality" leaves the equation when we're talking about taxes.

Thank God the Bills didn't draft this guy. Would hate to pay him that kind of money. 🤡

Bills win the Super Bowl with a guy like Tyreek on the team.

Fair enough but I think there is value in the flexibility that renting provides and you can just invest the rest in an Index Fund that will provide you similar returns with a lot less stress. If you are Worthy in KC you can rent a place super nice for like 3k a month (I can't imagine you couldn't get a nice 2-3 bedroom in that range) and then invest the rest into an Index fund and you probably get a similar return with dividends reinvested.
We are splitting hairs here but I think there's a case for renting in some circumstances and I think you can make a valid case especially during his rookie year where he may not want the hassles that come with owning a home one less distraction.
I agree. I think its better for these NFL guys to rent a place early on. Now if they get a nice extension, then you can go buy a place.

Why do people think Shorter is going to do anything? He wasn't even good in college. The last time he was anything, was high school.

We already have double dipped with Hamler and Shorter. What makes you think a 6th round WR is better than these guys?

2021 Pro Days had HC, scouts and personnel in attendance.

Wasn't Boogie drafted off the COVID off season? You know, the one that GMs couldn't go to Pro Days, do as much deep digging as usual? Couldn't get in person with the draftees?
You know, the season that NFL GMs were pretty much relegated to having only slightly more information available to them than fans normally do? And they missed on that pick? Shocker.
Not true but not a bad excuse.

exactly. That’s why Boogie Basham is gonna be an All-Pro, because there’s no way some folks on here could be right about him being a complete and total bum, while Beane thinks he’s worth a second rounder.
We double dipped on DE in a weak draft but didn't grab two WR's in a loaded draft. Pretty head scratching.

Who I would've picked instead:
Pick 33: WR Ladd McConkey, Georgia
Pick 60: S Cole Bishop, Utah (same as Bills)
Pick 95: WR Troy Franklin, Oregon
Pick 128: CB TJ Tampa, Iowa State
Pick 141: C/G Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, Georgia (same as Bills)
Pick 160: RB Tyron Tracy Jr, Purdue
Pick 168: DE Javon Soloman, Troy (same as Bills)
Pick 204: OG Christian Mahogany, Boston College
Pick 219: WR Brendan Rice, USC
Pick 221: CB MJ Devonshire, Pitt
Really like your draft. I'll give it a stab.
