I'm as anti McD as anyone but can we just play the games and see what happens now??
Let's critique him in the moment good or bad. He's the coach now. There is plenty of time to discuss his future this offseason
No idea of course but I'm going to guess he doesn't do much today. Maybe 1 or 2 catches and a reverse.
Kincaid will have 8 catches for 115
Knox 6 for 75
Shakir 5 for 45
Cook 6 for 110
Allen only played 12 games and started 11 his rookie year. He only had 10 TD. So if he gets 21 TD this year then he beats Mahommes even if you remove his rookie year numbers.
It's an A with an asterisk.
He got a HOF QB. For that alone he gets an A. He's nothing special after that. He's hit a few nice late round picks but missed badly on day 2 repeatedly.
Without Allen he would have been gone 2 years ago.
So I'm not really sure what the OP wants.
Do you want to go back 20 years and get 2-3 games on Sunday and one MNF game. 20 years ago the two great games we just saw would likely have not been seen in Buffalo or Cleveland. Instead of GB-Phil your only option may have been Clev-Dallas or some other terrible NFC game. And since Buffalo was playing an NFC opponent there may have been only 2 games to watch all Sunday depending which network had the double-header.
Now we have options. Nobody is forcing you to take advantage of these options. If you want to watch every NFL game you can. If you only want to watch the Bills from WNY most of the time you can for no additional cost than our cable.
I agree with this. I don't watch a ton of non-Bills NFL games. Could you imagine watching Carolina vs Atlanta? No thanks.
I will usually catch parts of 2-3 college games on Saturday because there is always several great match-ups to see. Then watch Bills and maybe one other game.
The contract wasn't the issue. Trading him was. No dead cap if he is still on the team and he costs over $3M less this year.
Hope one day we get the full story
