  1. They tried 4-3 in that game but with Spector and Morrow. It was a disaster. I do think a 4-3 of Milano, Williams, and Bernard would be a nice wrinkle to try.
  2. Not to change the subject but since you already did, you are describing two entirely different acts. Keon did not have possession of the ball(that's the arguable point) while the other examples the QB or RB already had possession of the ball and the only issue is whether the plane of the goal line was broken or not. Wow way more than my wife
  3. Took 7 weeks. Told you he was slow...lol
  4. Except it was slipping out of his hands. He clearly did not have control of the ball and then his third step was OOB. It was not a catch.
  5. The OP was so confusing. Did the OP say 2026? So now we don't care about this year or next and we are planning for cap space in two years??? The AFC is wide open now. If the Jags want to trade Josh Allen for a number 1 this year you make that deal. That pick will be no higher than 30th next year. You are not getting a great pass rusher at 30 next year. If you can figure out the money you should mortgage whatever you can to win this year. Cooper gives them a legitimate offense. If you can upgrade safety or edge rusher in the next week or two you have to make that move.
  6. Word from camp was Milano was slow and not really playing that well coming off injury. If Im wrong about that let me know. He does has a few more months to heal so that might help his comeback from the leg injury. Ideally Bils wrap up playoff spot a few weeks before end of season and you can start to rotate Milano in to see if he can play or not. I doubt a guy 15 months out from football at his age is going to make any impact. Like it or not Milano is most likely going to be a cap casualty this off season. Sad because he was playing so well before the injury. But they need all the cap they can get to address DL, WR, Josh's contract, and CB.
  7. Agree but that still doesn’t mean he is worth top dollar. You can pay him that much on the tag for one year and see if he continues to develop, Beane has had some success at getting guys to sign for less than top dollar - Oliver, DQ, Milano, Brown all come to mind. Then again he has overspent on Diggs, Bass, Knox, and Miller.
  8. Only once in the last 26 years has the leading rusher in the NFL even made it to the SuperBowl and that was last year with McCaffrey. You have to go back to 1998 when the NFL leading rusher won the SuperBowl - Terrell Davis and the Broncos So no, I have no second thoughts. If you have a QB, you draft RBs and use them while they are young and then draft another one when you need to.
  9. So you are saying Cooper isn't the best WR in football. Ok that is fair. He has to be at least top 15. Which makes us a much better team. Diggs was top 3 but is no longer. And I hated moving on from Diggs. The rest of the guys would struggle to be listed in the top 50 or maybe top 100.
  10. Seahawks traded starting LB today for another LB. Hard to think he will get up to speed that quick.
  11. What? Wait a minute now.... I thought Lamar couldn't read a defense? I read it here all the time he can't pass and only reads half the field. You must be mistaken...
  12. Not just a pick. He’s missed on multiple second round picks and the jury is still out on Bishop…
  13. Agree. They should have let Jones walk, tag Barkley again, and then let him walk. It's been pretty obvious Jones is not a franchise QB. Crazy they signed him to a long term deal. Now they have an elite WR and no one around him.
  14. Agree! I was in Portland for nearly 20 years. Everything you said is accurate!!!
  15. Agree. Either he is totally disinterested or he is spent physically. Looked slow and unathletoc all game.
  16. Have to feel bad for defenders. They have to think so much when attempting to tackle QBs or hit WRs. The more this stuff happens the more the NFL is going to have to let QBs get hit outside the pocket. I'd go so far as to say they should get rid of the QB slide. Once they are out of the pocket they are running backs.
  17. Everyone going enjoy! The stadium is very good with very good food options. I usually got a downtown hotel and walked to the game or took the train from Portland. So I really can't say much about traffic. I've been there several times including NFC Championship game where Sherman knocked away pass in the endzone to beat 49ers. Seattle is still a great city. Space needle is ok to look at but not worth the wait to go up. If you enjoy walking Bainbridge island is a nice enjoyable walk
  18. Glad Beane made the move for Amare last week. Aiyuk and Godwin injuries will create a bidding war for Hopkins. Elam has two post season INTs too. Crazy stuff sometimes
  19. Where are all the Lamar can't pass posts?? I read on here all the time he can't throw the ball....
  20. I'm never one to defend McDermott but I think this one was actually on the players. They were losing both LOS in the first half and winning both LOS in the second half. I doubt that is scheme. If someone who watches film says otherwise it sure would be interesting to know what changed. I just think they played better and harder in the second half.
  21. Jerry Rice has been out for a long time
  22. Best QB in franchise history history! Second best player in franchise history second only to Bruce Smith. That will change the moment he wins a Lombardi!!!
  23. Yeah that seems like a bad line... Probably the uncertainty at QB for Pittsburgh was playing a role in that but who knows what Vegas thinks
  24. They showed it several times on TV. It was pretty obvious the ball was coming out. In other views it looked clear his toe on the third step was OOB.
