8 carries for 24 yards.
our running backs SUCK.
it’s why we continue to draft and trade for them.
They.
Are.
Not.
Good.
Singletary is a great complimentary piece. He’s a do it all kind of guy, but has no speed. Cook is all speed, buuuuuuuuuut, there doesn’t seem to be much else there. They need a real RB. A true starting caliber RB could get yards with this line. Singletary consistently gets to the second level, but because he has no speed, he gets caught up by the ankles. It’s hard to watch week after week.- 1

I hate the Jets and their fans.
Thats all Im feeling right now.

I watch him a lot. He doesn't even play defense; he is just a pass rush specialist.
He tries his move, it fails 99% of the time (like everyone else's) and he is ridden out of the play and by then the ball is gone. He then jogs at 1/4 speed toward the ball but almost never actually re-enters the play.
That's what he's basically doing, when he's actually on the field. A lot of the time he is not. Then suddenly he blows up a DE and gets a dramatic sack (none today) and the announcer says "Wow he's dominating out there!"
You know, I want to disagree with what you are saying. But it’s hard to. -

Can you take a break from the “it’s rigged” nonsense? This is the way every league is. You think MichEl Jordan didn’t get favoritism? Wayne Gretzky? Brady? Etc… those types of things are earned by superstars.. It will never change, crying about it won’t change it.
Who said anything about rigged? Allen is a star, so is Diggs. There was another non-call in the Dolphins/Bears game.
As a fan of the game and this team, you should be angry too. Good defense is one thing, but blatant fouls aren’t good for the game. Regardless of the outcome.

Anyone want to talk about the silent refs until the final drive?
I do.
Terrible. How many holds happened all game long that weren’t called? And then on the final play, Gardner is all over Diggs, doesn’t have his head turned, and is clearly holding his arms. I know they’re both going for it, but the rule has ALWAYS been the defender has to turn his head.
I know that one play doesn’t make the game, and I know that it shouldn’t come down to this. But, good teams get those calls. Favored teams get those calls. Mahomes would get it. Brady would get it. Tyrik Hill or OBJ would get that call.
I don’t like it.

Against maybe the best man cover corner in football. That shouldn’t have been a surprise to anyone.
The defense is the real problem. The Packers and the Jets just laid out the blue print for beating this defense.

How can we not blitz more against this offense????
The secondary isn’t covering well enough to start adding pressure. The Jets are playing the whole field, Bills secondary can’t keep up. Poyer and Milano are a huge loss for this defense. -
“Suck my whole sleeve.”
Does that mean what I think it means?

Jesus, I remember my Dad buying beer from him at the War Memorial for Bisons game.
“Buy a warm one from me, the next ones free!”
The Conehead guarantee.
He’s 100% correct. I get the same feeling every week watching the Bills with my son. The Glory Years have returned, and it’s sweet as honey.

Ha.
Craig Carton. Ha. The Jets. Ha. Jonathan Franklin-Meyers. Haahahahahahahaha.
Don’t wake the sleeping giant. That team has one good player on defense. Good luck covering anyone not across from Sauce Gardner.
F word the Jets. Forever.
Go Bills.

The Bills let Green Bay run because they didn't want to get beat deep by Rodgers, so they stayed in Nickel.
Oh.
I would say that the Nickel is their base scheme, and that everything builds off that. There’s no real “heavy set” to the defense. I’d much rather have Taron Johnson on the field than Dodson. It’s a liability against the zone run schemes, but I’d still rather have the best 11 guys on the field.

The scheme to let the team run out the clock while defending against the reigning MVP because he can still make any throw even with terrible receivers? The Bills stayed in Nickel instead of switching to a 4-3 because of the threat of Rodgers and the game was never in doubt. This is the same defense that held Derrick Henry to under 30 yards.
Im not sure what you’re trying to say here?
The Bills defense got gashed on Sunday night BECAUSE of scheme. The defense bent, but did not break. That’s also part of the scheme.

I will continue with your NBA analogy. NBA is all about matchups.
Eagles have #1 pass defense in yards and #2 by YPA. Eagles have a QB with super high completion percentage, a big oline, and are decent at running the ball.
All those factors could be matchup problems for Bills and KC.
Like the Bills last year, the Eagles have faced some really bad QBs. So is their defensive ranking real or not????
Buffalo and KC still seem like the better team but I would not discount the Eagles so quickly.
I will agree that the Eagles run game scared me before last night, and I feel like the Bills scheme got exposed last night. But, I also don’t think it’s something that can’t be overcome. And I don’t think that Robert Quinn makes them so much better than the Bills O-line and Josh Allen can handle. I really don’t buy into the Eagles at all. But they’re undefeated, and they’re odds on favorite for the NFC. They’re the only thing to talk about in NFC. So this is the team that’s getting better to make a run. But…I don’t think this trade deadline deal, the move that makes that makes them better than a team with great chemistry and motivated from within.
If the Bills signed Robert Quinn in the off-season, or traded for him then, I’d be over the moon. Just for the record.

Quinn had 18.5 sacks last season. Agree Miller is better and Quinn is having a down year. But if Buffalo traded for him you would be excited he was added to the team.
49ers are far more than CMC, but I Agree Bills and Chiefs are both better.
I don’t think I would? 18.5 sacks is a huge number, and he’s a good player, but the news media is acting as if he is all of a sudden the best pass rusher in the league. I’m not big on trades in the NFL. It’s not the same as with the NBA or MLB, where guys can get plugged in and play. Scheme, chemistry, communication, all vary from team to team, and are vital to success. I’m not saying he won’t be successful, I’m just saying that I don’t think it’s as big of a deal as what people here and in the news are making it out to be.
I’ll continue to say that Philly is not that good, and is no match for the Bills or Chiefs.

Huh? The AFC plays the AFC. The NFC plays the NFC. The AFC has been beating each other up. The one or two good NFC teams have been beating up on the rest of their crappy conference.
This. The Eagles are paper tigers. Since when is Robert Quinn Von Miller? The way that people are talking, you’d think he was. The Niners? Please. Everyone is in love with CMC, and his dazzling triple crown yesterday, but let’s see how his legs hold out for the rest of the season. None of those teams stand a chance against the Chiefs or Bills.
And it’s not even close.

I used to be NateOdomsBFF, then something happened with my account, and here I am.
I used to love that Riddick leap as a kid. It was always a guaranteed TD or 1st down.

They were all assists. Also leading in tackles on a given week could simply be an indicator that you're consistently getting picked apart in pass coverage.

I wish I could watch the live games in a relaxed fashion. Yesterday, my kids have really heard a high pitch scream from their Father they didn’t think was possible. I’m pretty good with the profanity. But the trash talking of the TV, that’ll stay.
Most times I watch on the replay on NFL+, and I feel like knowing the game is over, has calmed me. Big plays don’t seem as big, the drama isn’t there.
So yesterday was a return to glory. Give me the high fives and the gritty in my socks across the den floor. Give me high pitch Daddy, and plenty of sarcastic “ok Romo”. This team is electric. Josh Allen is the one the prophecy spoke of. This rise to power has been slow and steady and built in a way to win for a generation, not a season.
Give me higher stakes. Give me more anxiety than I can properly handle in an adult manner.
I have chosen love, and I don’t care who knows it anymore.

I said the same thing! That trip in the end zone was like a bookie was whispering in his ear “go down”.

My drive to work takes about 2 hours everyday… I can’t imagine a 15 hour commute to go chop wood in Arrowhead.
These guys continue to amaze me week after week.
